I nod at Apollo. I then turn back to Mazurn and stand up and hiss at him. "Oh, by the the way... We don't always have to go to you for protection. I was easily able to get you down on the ground. And I was easily able to stun and then kill the man upstairs with a sword. This," I show him the bloodied sword in my hand to him, "was his sword. I stunned him, then picked up his sword and stabbed him through the neck. In my eyes, you're nothing more than a moron with a big body that is good for a shield and pissing off the enemies to draw their attention to you so we can kill them. So Irene doesn't have to promise you anything. The rest of us are perfectly capable of protecting her ourselves. So get that through your head, Chrome Dome. You aren't better than the rest of us."

"First of all, woman, I have a name. It is Mazurn Rudrick. Second of all, I do have a brain, and third, you wouldn't want me angry." With that, he let go of Irene's hand, pushing the door open.

I lean in to whisper something to Nyx. "You know... I have to agree that Mazurn may appear to be just a 'moron with a big body that is good for a shield and pissing off the enemies to draw their attention ... so we can kill them' but the part you're missing is that that is EXACTLY what makes him so valuable. Meat shields need to arrogant and meaty, or else they can't do their job well. So why don't YOU stop being so condescending and obnoxious and leave Mazurn alone."

Willow & Layla: Before you even reach the top of the stairs, you come face-to-face with two of the swordsmen. They are trying to leave. "What do we have here?" one asks. "More Outsiders," the other replies. They both draw their swords.
Mazurn: As you leave the shop, you see that the street is unchanged, but there is a flying anthro going down the street.
Branwen: Someone has come out of the shop you heard voices in.

"It's not my fault I hate men who are arrogant and only useful for being a shield. I like men with intelligence AND brawn. Not just brawn. Heck, I'd take one with just intelligence over him. At least the the intelligent ones know how to treat others respectfully."

"Dammit... too close to Willow... I might friendly fire..." I mutter under my breath as I conjure my blades back. I stand back for now, waiting for Willow's signal or for her to look like she's in mortal peril.

"Well then clearly you are lacking in Intelligence. I am quite sure you are quite in control of who you hate, unless, as your actions imply, you really ARE lacking a fully developed frontal lobe."

In seeing a person come out of the building with voices and swords, I descend to the ground with a swift motion of my wings to brake and I breathe quickly with fear, but also with slight excitement. I find myself blushing (if noticeable) under my dark feathers (which are hopefully hiding this reaction) as I find this person attractive and I smile gratefully and excitedly. "He...hello! I am so glad to see you! I've been looking everywhere for people who aren't dead or evil, so you are quite the relief, and, well..." I bow my head slightly in embarrassment. "I'm...Branwen by the way. It means...well, heheh, it means 'raven'."

I decide to go for trying to slice off my current opponent's head before turning over to the other two and taking a deep slash (hopefully) across both their torsos as I had done before. Luck was what I seriously needed at the moment....

Leina: The man's neck starts squirting blood, but does not come off. You did not put enough speed and power into the slice to get through the spine. This guy is as good as dead, though. You have two active guys coming at you, and one has been dazed by the guy in black.

I turn to the two active guys and raise my sword into a ready position, deciding to wait for them to approach me before striking. "Hey! Shield Boy! Help would be appreciated!" I call over my shoulder without taking my eyes off the soldiers.

"Hey, he's only good for his arrogance and being a meat shield. You said it yourself. Doesn't mean I have to like him." I hiss.
I look back down at Irene. "Sorry about that. We don't exactly get along right now. Heh... Shall we go? Or is there something upstairs you would like me to go get for you. Unless you're willing to face the body of an almost entirely decapitated man?"

Hiroto nodded as he threw his right arm to the side and the shield disappeared, a large orange orb rotated around his body as it entered his right fist and he rushed ahead of her slamming his fist hard into the soldier's face. "Fist of Justice." He said as jumped back, hoping to avoid conflict.

((I think you missunderstood, i ment the open door you mentioned on this floor, not the one above, but whatever))
Reacting quickly, willow did a half cartwheel, whilst on her hands she twisted and pushed off the ground, her legs aiming for the stomaches of both swordsmen.

"Hmm....Hi." Mazurn said as he looked at the athro that had landed infront of him. "My name is Mazurn. What were you flying from?"
