Gordo's wide brow furrowed above a deep frown, "Saruman? ... Orcs in Isengard?" He paused in thought a moment, considering Elrothiel's troubling words. "And how exactly am I supposed to trust a pointy ea-" He turned around to see that the elf had disappeared under the trees. "Err... Elrothiel?" Then he heard someone comming up the path and took one last look around before diving into a ditch on the side of the road.

Elrothiel was in the trees the other side of the ditch. "I'm here." she whispered. "He's changed direction. He can probably smell us." She gripped Naraithas firmer, waiting.

Elrothiel shielded her eyes from the sun with her left hand. "That Uruk-Hai has definitely smelt us. He's looking in our direction. There might be a company somewhere near." She cursed in her own tongue. "What do you think. Should we risk trying to avoid an open battle but with the possibility we'll be hugely outnumbered or try to overpower him before he can reach any allies but risk being seen from the traitor's tower?" She cast a glance of distaste at it. The harsh cruelty of the structure dominated the surrounding landscape. Her eyes were instantly caught by something else. There was a flash of sunlight glinting off an arrow. She tapped Gordo gently on the shoulder whispering. "Over there. North East. A ranger shot it. Now what?"

Aldonar aproached the two cautiusly. Upon closer look, he saw that what he thought was a womans figure was actualy a man. "Who are you?"

((Sorry. I am actually dressed as a woman in this one. I'm an elf in this one. In the other I'm a different person altogether. Sorry. ))

"I am Elrothiel, elf of Rivendell. I intend to return to help the peoples of Middle-Earth in the struggle against Sauron and Saruman." She smiled at him and sheathed her sword once more. "I believe that Uruk-Hai has allies nearby so we may need to be careful."

((BTW Can we actually kill Azog? Isn't he a proper character?))

" Where did you come by the skill to fight with a sword,my lady?" he asked ." And where do you think these other orcs are?"

Gordo heaved himself out of the ditch and planted his urgosh on the ground with a grunt. "I might be askin' you the same question, ranger," he said with an undisguised glare towards Aldonar. "A fine aim like that may well cover an ambush of Moria's gate from fifty paces, but I'll wager pockets to pommels it ain't enough face to face with this beardless mug!"

Elrothiel laughed. "I learnt to fight many years ago before I first journeyed away from home. Since then I have developed my own... slightly unorthodox, style of fighting. As for the orcs, I have no idea. But I don't believe any of them would travel alone, especially now they've seen us. I believe we should be careful to avoid an ambush. Oh and this is Gordo, of the Dwarves of Moria." She smiled.

"Now back the mine cart up will ya?" Gordo stammered. "First off, I ain't from Moria, I hail from Ordum Keep in Caradhras. I was trying to get to Moria only to find the secret entrance ain't so secret and ain't much of an entrance anymore," He continued, "Now, yer not for knowin' where them orcs that wrecked Moria's gate runned off to," He gestured towards Elrothiel. "And yer not for knowin' either," then made the same motion towards Aldonar. "And the white wizard's in cahoots with the filth... AND I'm to be trustin' the words of the both of you?"

Elrothiel looked surprised. "Well nobody is forcing you to trust me. It will be quite a novelty if dwarves and elves start trusting each other never mind about travelling together. Bearing in mind we are fighting a common enemy I think it is probably worthwhile if the peoples of Middle-Earth do not fight amongst themselves. The free must stand together or they will fall. And I am not suggesting it is the same orcs as wrecked the Gates of Moria, and I have no proof to offer that there are any orcs there at all. There is only my word and for anyone who travels with me that has to be enough. It is you choice, Gordo of Caradhras."
