themightyjello Man, this fight is so gay. First it's all: "Dicking around!" "You're hurting my feelings." Then it's all: "Grapple!" "Stab!" Then it's like: "Abuse you in the grapple!" "What grapple? *attempts to sneak out the back door, only to find that it's just painted onto a brick wall and doesn't really exist*" At what point will the fighting start? Christ-- EXACTLY. Despite the cynical sarcasm, that sums it up.

If he has me in a clinch, but he doesn't. That throw would be timed as the clinch was coming in.
Let's see, I have three feet arms with nine inch blades.
They were all fully extended for those attacks.
Sooo... three feet and nine inches isn't enough to see the man's neck?
Seriously, and three feet is probably a little short since a 6'3" guy would typically have an arm span about the same as his height.
And I never bent my arms or any sillyness to allow Vahn to get in closer than three feet and nine inches.
So, unless he has gorilla arms, they'd never really be that far behind me or at all. Kichiro would have to move but a few inches as that clinch came in to be away from it.
Edit. Though the nine inches can be cut because some of it would be inside Vahn.
Still, those arms were out for attacks, not scrunched up and swinging across Kichiro's body akwardly or something.

No, they weren't fully extended, because the entire time I've been closing in the distance, or have you failed to realize that you ******** douchebag?
The clinch was solid, as both holds happened at the same time. Not to mention you were dealing with being impacted from the skull in the same timeframe.
You got caught you fishless b*****d. I oughta throw you in the jersey river.

themightyjello Now who wants to sasquach fight for dominance over Urth? edit: One thing I did love about that game was you could eat the villagers in the background for small health boosts.
and if you hit them enough, you play volleyball. i was never able to do it.

You'd have to go through the blades in order for them not to be extended. So pressing into them would press Kichiro back.
Or you can keep throwing insults because you lack wit, that's kinda funny.
And leaning foreward to headbutt while a target was attacking over such a distance, while unexpected, wouldn't mean both arms suddenly stretched out to cover the distance.
And actually, you didn't start closing the distance as per your posts till after the failed katana slash, where the tantos impacted and the backward force started.

A headbutt has a range of like 8" past the shoulders. By your own admission the headbutt connected. So clearly, his shoulders are within 8" of yours, and according to how things are; he has his right arm behind you and is grappling you. Where do you run from there?

You slashed out at the left bicep.
And stabbed in towards the right armpit.
The bicep was cut as the body moved forward, where it was said repeatedly in the posts that they were close together. I even said that the stab into the amrpit might not work due to how close they had become, but I still let it get in there.
I tried to hold grip of your hand and you move it away, leading it to your chest, where I followed and simply pressed and held it at elbow and bicep to control it there.
Your sword is deep into the right underside, probaly sticking out something due to the length, and the right arm is behind you due to the proximity of their bodies, because otherwise i woudl have had said that vahns right arm was pinned against your shoulder.
Which it wasnt.
the headbutt happened after the bicep was slashed, the hit was taken so ground could be covered and the headbutt could come in.
that was the set up.
Your trying to tell all of us now that you started this "mysterious" backward force ever since the very first post of my pinwheel slash against your tantos.

I figured he threw the top of his body forward to do it, that's not to hard to imagine, with his long step allowing the launching of his head forward. His right arm was never behind me, it was at the side holding onto a blade in the same side where a thrust went in. Our feat would still be that three feet something, and a simple straightening of the torso would carry Kichiro that distance away from the reaching arms, while the shuffling of feet carried him away from any chase.
