Sure that may of been comforting to him but not to her, she didn't even want to get this done at all. But if it came down to it that she couldn't work if she didn't get this done, well then she'd be getting it done wouldn't she. "I guess you're right." Though he got that stoic look a moment at his other comment. "Eh, let's not tape the memories shall we? Can I go now Robbie?"

He was busy cleaning up, he had to do some planning now anyway and his brain was already getting to work on it. He needed to make notes and start sketching. Yes, he was going to build from scratch. "Certinaly, but if you're going to be up and about keep someone with you for the next few hours."

A nod. "Gotcha. Thanks." And she eased herself up to be sitting, swingign her legs over the edge of the table and gingerly letting her feet touch touch before just as gingerly putting her weight on top of that. She felt all funny.

"Like...a duck...on a junebug... isn't that creative." Okay what, his civilian side was suddenly back out? If she didn't know James she would guess he had multile personalities or was just bipolar. Who knew right? But she seemed very tenative and paid attention to the floor as she took her steps for a moment, using things in reach to help hold her balance. Give her a few minues, maybe an hour.

"I won't overstress myself." Thus she took to walking down the hall and away from her problems that rested with Robert Camp for the moment.

"Would you have preffered a more military saying? like 'I'll be on you like napalm'? or perhaps 'like white on rice'? or how about my personal favorite, 'like s**t on velcro'?"

A slight smirk as they left Doctor Camp, with full intention of taking her back to her room and making sure she didn't try anything to make matters worse than they already are.

"Gee. aren't you ever articulate?" The wall was her best friend at the moment. Though she was trying to make it more or less look like she wasn't using the wall at all really. But still...

But as usual, Jelena wasn't complaining or voicing any discomfort she may have. No, she had work to do. After all, Camp said nothing stressful and the like. Well there was nothing stressful about sitting in a chair in her office and working on some filing. Besides, she had to check on things, Erik, and Lilia. To the office.

Oh really. He noted where she was heading...and without a word, simply picked her up, not that she was in any condition to do anything about it, and carried in to her room.

"Nothing overly stressful for a few hours. the means no work for you for a bit unless it's strapped behind a desk, and we both know if you go back to your office you'll be running around in the back labs. I can handle Erik and Lillia and make sure nothing mauls them. and yes, I am articulate."

Let's pout in that huffy way shall we? Sounds good. "No, I can sit behind a desk. You can...velcro me to it or something. Are you honestly going to make me stay in my room in bed all day?" No doubt, but she let him carry her to her room without much fuss, and set her on her bed. Though she gave one of those sighs about it.

"I'm going to get behind again and if Camp wants to do this thing, then I need to shift up my scheduling to make sure I have some things doen for downtime I have to take. Like now, I'm going to get behind." Little perfectionist workaholic.

But to sate herself for the moment, she took off her OODDS and pulled out a tool from her bedside table and took to tinkering with the stupid things.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 6:55 am

"New system, dear. everything can be entered with little to no trouble on work from here. reports can come and go through your OODDS. the only think you won't be able to manage is physically monitoring the back area and walking around in there. your personal computer system in your room is wired to it. so you can do all your work from here, with no overwhelming urge to go in teh back labs of your office."

Ha.

"I know how you are with your work. So I set it up for you to be able to work when it was in your best interest not to be in the office. Ofcourse the original though was if you were sick or the like, but faulty bioware spine does mean mostly bedridden."

He got somewhat of a glare. Gee, he had been literally in her systems hadn't he? Seeing as it took specific coding and routing codes to connect anything to her OODDS specifically more so after she had gotten the little gadget finally wireless. Though at the little information about her pc, she was pretty much at the thing in two seconds flat, pulling up some programs and what not, thought it was an army of passwords and codes to access it all.

"Well isn't that sweet fo you dear. I do believe tha if you keep this up I will loose my gumption to get up and go, and just become lazy and put on ten pounds from lack of running around combined with donut and coffee breakfasts." A pause. "And I don't intend to be bedridden more than a week. I was up in a week the first time."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 7:09 am

A chuckle at that.

"Well, if you want, how about I redirect all the enclosure feeeds to your computer so you can monitor them without even getting out fo bed."

not that he couldn't do that, but he knew Jelena prefered hands on when it came to the echoes themselves.

"I plan for events when you aren't well enough to be where you want or need to be. If you think you'll be up in a weeks time, then after a week feel free to give it a go. All I ask is that I not go into teh back labs and find you trying to drag yourself on teh floor with your hands becuase you blew something in your new bioware."

"No thank you, I'd rather not play spectator to those enclosures. Besides, video feed isn't always reliable and I like thing when dealign wiht my Echoes to be reliable. No exceptions at all. And I like to be up and about."

She couldn't help it. It was just the way she was. Jelena had to be on the go all the time and didn't like to sit idle. It was practically a miracle that James got her to go relax at all really.

"I don't see why I wouldn't." Then again she really knew next to nothing on bioware. "But don't worry, I won't be dragging myself around. I'll make Erik carry me around everywhere."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 7:55 am

"Alright, that'll work. So, what would you like for lunch?'

James was already heading to the kitchen. though more likely than not it didn't have much in the way of cookable stuff. But hey, worse to worse they could microwave something or he could fetch something. boy he wished they had those replicators like the old startrek show.

She blinked, looking away from her computer monitor for a moment at him. Good luck finding fresh things in that kitchen. "Is it that time already?" No really, is was? Funny, the morning had flew by so very very fast. Oh well, time flew right? Seemed regardless of fun being involved or not.

"Well...I'm either skipping or I'm going to have something like a sandwich." Because she could type one handed and it really wasn't uncommon for her to skip meals.

How long was he planning on babysitting her?
PostPosted: Thu Mar 30, 2006 7:53 pm

"It's about that time, yes. and good lord woman do you not ever grocery shop?"

well...fried balonga sandwiches would work. out with teh skillet, and some butter and cinnamon, and the balogna and he got to work cooking her at least something that resembled a halfway decent snack with what he had to work with.

the General stood before the General assembly, ready to make his case. He was tired of waiting. Tired of trying to be secret and all the damned cloak and dagger bullshit. however, he had to convince the assembly to permit him to do what he did best. destroy others.

"Esteemed members of the Assembly. I come to you in the hopes that you will authorize us to retake the Fleet. The Echo project has grown dangerously out of control. we have documents that a failed experiment, codenamed 'Tempest' as free reign of the ship. other Echoes have been known to assualt the techs that work with them..as we had documented from the early days in Fleet."

Opening up envelopes and showing documents, before passing them over to the Chairman.

"Catalyst project has not been kept under control and regulation, causeing power outages and loss of systems. Dr. Fein is mental unstable herself, and she never have been authorized her project work in the first place."

More documents passed around.

"We have reason to believe that Echo project leader herself is addicted to the overly prescribed drugs from that doctor as well. Not to mention the.." Oh this hurt to say, "...Project supervisor of Metamorphosis, Cammander James Moria...has also signed himself into the Echo project as well. this could be a serious breach of ethics, and not to mention that this opens the doorway for teh Echo's to be subjected to military use or augmentaions."

there...let the fear work a little bit. he could see it in thier eyes. Let them imagine horrible beasts armed with the latest technology fused into them. Fenrirs with mounted plasma cannons, leviathan's with torpedos..that will work nicely.

"It woudl be a simple operation. a small force...the objective simply to take military control of the Fleet. We don't expect casualties. Fleet Security has not had military training for years, they should be able to put up very little if any resistance."

well...there was going to be one casualty, if he could arrange it. and old score to settle. He let them muse on that awhile.

"I'll await your decision on the matter, Good day, gentlemen."

And he picked up his hat, and walked out with the military dignity he used to have. it felt good to walk again. to be able to talk again. and the one that had stripped him of that so many years ago was going to get his.
