Ryo looked smiling to her softly. "It's okay your alright now. I reacted fast enough to help you calm down before anyone got hurt. But what was that you was saying it was like a totally different language hard to understand." He asked her and looked at the case she was staring at when it happened. Then looked back to her hoping she was alright.

Suddenly a woman in a bizarre dress walked up wearing a open lab coat and slapped the two scientists upside the back of the head. "Don't you even dare treat her like something other than a person you dolts." She said pointing to the display case then her office. "NOW!" more or less gesturing to have them put the items taken to her office for examination.

Then she slowly approached Sil and Ryo putting her finger on her chin a bit watching them before speaking. "You two come with me I have questions that need answered." She said as three armed security guards approached making it seem they had little choice in the matter. "It's alright seeing as no one but her was harmed, A few people scared probably and confused of what happened. I just want to find out what happened, why, and if it has anything to relate to some of the artifacts. I assure you if I have you look at those items it will be for figuring out what happened and see if a different location might have lesser effects as I have seen before some artifacts contain mysterious energy that can greatly increase a reaction someone has to an artifact....

That is if they have what was known to be more common way in the past referred to as magic, or gifted individuals which seems this young lady is a gifted individual herself. Which if my guess is right she is descended from such a gifted individual as my research into the ancient past where the books of myths and legends reference only vaguely as mages, witches, and such that had special powers that like an allergy can skip a few generations and only two people of a similar bloodline where they both come from one of these gifted bloodlines can produce a child or more than one that have these gifts. that two bloodlines so weak that can not normally produce any power like gift if they combine thier combined bloodlines of power could give their children a gift like what seems to be the case with this young lady.

But..." She said then clammed up realising she started rambling a little on how Sil could have came to have this power seeming curious more than afraid of it. "Sorry I have a bad habit of the time I was a university professor giving lectures of ending up rambling." She said offering a small smile as she rubbed the back of her head. "I do assure you though my questions if I see if you have that reaction again is purely academic. to kinda find out what happened and see if there would be a way to come up with a way to keep anyone ellse from going through the same thing. I don't want people triggered into causing a panic while viewing things in the museum bad for business and such you know." She said hoping they would oblige her questioning.

Ryo moved blocking the air with his body back turned towards this woman and covered Sil from being hit by it. But oddly there was as if a wall appeared in a v shape invisible to the eye which blocked Ryo and Sil from being hit. But it was odd how it worked. It was placed like magic there was no feeling of where it came from. Oddly the female scientist looked observing this new person that appeared out of thin air. One hand with fingers moving oddly as if resting her one elbow on the back of her other which kind of hid her hands movements posing like this.

"Well this is fascinating. But why not study magic to learn more about it, even if we can simulate certain types of magic with devices of science there are magics out there that could be of benefit to others, like weight adjustment magic to make large heavy object light as air, healing wounds or illnesses in seconds with magic instead of time with medicine. But then I do know not everyone is able to have magic used upon them. And for some it avoids them or bounces right off without anyone knowing why. Which is still under study as it is." She said seeming to show no fear towards this woman or Sil's powers.

"Of course however others can use a certain magic that no other person can feel oddly well none that have the ability to sense magic from it being used. But that is kinda a different magic then the one you use miss." She says adjusting her glass rims though oddly it looks as if there is no lenses in the frames. And her hair done up oddly as she stands there watching. "though I don't think people actually are aware they can use the undetectable magic. there is no flare, no flashes, no signs magic is being used yet that wind attack seemed deflected from some thing unseen and unfelt, unknowingly it was suddenly there only seen by it cutting that wind attack into a wedge protecting those two. Interesting how it happened though I am unsure how it happened." She said seeming to pay less attantion to the attacking woman. Though was highly aware of her just acting to ignore her like she wasn't there.

Which likely might annoy Kala so much to turn her attention mostly to the scientist which might give an opening for Ryo and Sil to run to the office of this scientist woman which was the closet room to which hiding could be possible. As well as possible magic artifacts like the tools that was in that case found that differed from ninja weapons and more of hidden stealth like weapons that assassins might use. The scientist woman kept her fingers on her hidden hand still for the moment watching the situation a bit.

Ryo hugged Sil closer and picked her up making a break for the closest room possible hoping there was a window inside he could get Sil out through at least. The woman laughed moving to the side like she was dancing dodging the blast from Kala. "I am not saying I know all the purposes behind it I just find it fascinating what is more I find that you think HE blocked your attack. Sorry but I know that young man, well more like I know his parents and they are not of that mans bloodline like you might think.

And as for humans to use magic or as you put it simulated magic actually humans have come quite a ways in succeeding in that, But what would a spoiled princess from an age long past know about it." She said sighing watching Kala.

"So that boy may look of that bloodline but I highly doubt he is. plus think of this, since his family are not of the Diyoshita clan even if he was one simply could not use it without training I would think." She partly looks away from Kala thinking After all that family line was one I researched but the last heir to that clan supposedly died off over thousand years ago. So I am not sure all I know is going by characteristics of that clan I have not found anyone of that bloodline in this modern age even the tests on that boy's blood showed no trace of it. But then again it wouldn't be the first time a genetic trait test failed me. Though my point is to say how do you know if that boy made it and not anyone else?" She asked likely become a real annoyance to Kala specially with her laughing and dodging that blast in a dance spin like style.

Ryo looked frantically for a window unfortunately the only window was a small venting window that only opened at most to a angle and was too small for anything other than a small bird to possibly fly through at an angle. "Crap closest possible shelter of a wall and no visible way out." Ryo muttered a bit.

The woman just laughed dodging and even moving quicker at times as if she teleported out of the way or just stood there once and a while and grinned as the attack was deflected like it was on Ryo and Sil.

Then she pouted. "Oh is that all you got? Getting dizzy and tired already aww and just when it was getting fun too." She said in a mocking tone smirking at Kala lowering her glasses as she kneeled down at the less threatening Kala her eyes turning a purple shade and grinned darkly. "Sweet dreams old friend." She said softly her eyes slitting up and giggled a bit. Closing her eyes a moment as they turned to look human again she stood jumping back if Kala would try reaching for her. Which would likely get her another dart or two if she did. waiting for her to pass out.

Ryo watched and once the wall showed to be open though there looked to be no debris on the floor, no explosion or sound yet he could see outside he placed his hand on Sil's shoulder. "Thats good enough don't push yourself Sil." He said then when she would stop he would pick her up into his arms rushing for the way out leaping skillfully and gracefully out to the ground landing softly and looking around raced to where his motor bike was and helped Sil onto it and got on himself ready to ride off when she was ready.

Ryo started it up gunning the engine and took off as quick as he could. Feeling panicked but better than being in there where that odd woman attacked them. He drove past through the detour for the renaissance fair going people when a vehicle appeared to start chasing them. It was a odd style of vehicle and had a red and black flag with a gun design on it. Which was typical fro random bounty hunter groups to use. Ryo took evasive action getting cut off into a side road through the park luckily the vehicle could not pursue because of the bike spaced metal pillars in the entry area. But not too far down this path as a energy pulse from a rifle hit his bike, which made it soon stall and malfunction but not until they was half way through the park.

Ryo looked around weighing their options. Seeing lights at both ends of the path as well as men armed moving in. "Crap why now does all luck betray us." He says getting off the bike leaving it grabbing Sil he runs through the woods deeper and deeper into the woods. Stopping to catch his breath thinking. "I hope we out ran them, it might be a while but I think we are safe for the time being." Ryo said removing his jacket putting around Sil to help keeping her warm not wanting to start a fire for warmth as it would give their location away quicker. He looked around not seeing much but there was this large flat stone so he figured he could scrounge up some snacks even if it was just a few apples from an apple tree. "I'm gonna look for some food we can use this stone here like a table. If I can while i'm out I will call for backup if I can get a signal. it should take those hoodlums a while to find us here." Ryo said before cautiously heading out.

Little did he know that was no ordinary stone but a shadow stone marking the entrance to a secret area those with shadow powers would see the markings which in turn would reveal the passageway to the hidden area. Just by being close to it the stone would hum and the markings glow but should not have an effect on the person like Sil experienced in the museum. Then a soft glow past the stone where a wall of trees seemed out of place would reveal a path to some kind of temple.

At the museum the scientist pondered a bit. "Okay take this mad woman to my lab and restrain her. I will deal with her myself." a glint in her eye as she smiled mischievously to the guards. She also had a slight accent momentarily as she said that. "I vill get to ze bottom of zis outrage!" She exclaimed her grin and eyes looking wild as if she might have kinda not so nice plans in store.

Ryo soon came back frowning having a few apples in his arms. Not seeing the mark or open pathway as he sat down. "Well I was able to gather a few apples while we wait for rescue. That is if others of my clan realize I should be back and have not returned might look for the tracking signal in my bike, since I could not make a call, oddly there was this rather odd interference when ever I tried calling I heard a voice echoing from my radio that was really odd. Kinda sounded like the way you did when you started freaking out and your power going out of control." Ryu said shrugging a bit. "Though I couldn't even connect to the dispatcher of the clan. If only we had some safer place to hide until they come looking.for us." Ryo sighed and sat down going to take a bite out of an apple when it flew out of his hand getting pinned to a tree and a foul odor filled the air.

"Eww I think those apples are not edible if that smell is coming from it." Ryo said and a twig snapping sound in the distance. "We are close smell that boys? Smells like one of them soiled them self from fear." The voices were not that far but far enough to get away hopefully unseen. Ryo spoke softer. "Drats it sounds like we are surrounded. They got close faster then I hoped." Ryo said a little panicked.

Ryo raised a brow but let her lead until he seen her heading straight for a group of trees. "Sil what you talking about your headed right for a group of...." he felt some restriction instead of slamming into the trees feeling like he plunged through a wall of water. having his eyes closed expecting to slam into trees but not feeling the impact he opened one eye then the other. "...trees? What the..." Ryo said looking back seeing the area they left and the bounty hunters searching with flashlights seeming clueless.

"What the we surrounded the only way out and worked inward closing on them. Yet they vanished into thin air it seems...." one of them said light acted to hit a invisible wall between hem where the trees stood and the even touch where the trees looked to be Ryo got ready to attack them fearing they would find the hidden pathway but it was like they couldn't get in as if the passage turned solid to them. "Maybe they set up a decoy and climbed a tree until we passed them and we fell for it. While they ran the other way..." Another said looking around.

A figure walked forwards from the pathway an orb of light hovering over his head. "Welcome You are safe, they can't even hear us right now. this place shows only to those with the shadow powers. And only those without the shadow powers can be brought inside by one who has them. I have been waiting for you miss?" the man before them was Sodain the man confronted who shielded Sil and returned the book to her earlier. The questioning tone was more or less asking for her name.
