Ari's eyes widened with shock, and Nessa arched an eyebrow. "He doesn't look that old... Aaaaaaaari," she intoned, looking at her friend, "I there something I'm missin' here?" Ari just shook her head. Musica had kids? Sure, she got the part that he'd been around for a while, and she figured he'd had quite a few girlfriends. If she'd been around as long as he had, she'd probably would have had quite a few boyfriends herself... but kids?! Not only that, but they looked her age! It was a little weird, she had to admit. It also made her question his view of her. Did he see her as a kid too?

Musica made a turn about, ignoring the two girls watching him with mouths agape. He really didn't need any more drama tonight, all he wanted was to go home. Eiji texted him earlier and said he'd be coming over to spend the night knowing he was tense. Whenever something was wrong he could always depend on Eiji to get him out of his funk. Hell, he didn't even know his last name. It was merely a relationship of fulfilling temporary need, nothing more. "Let me guess Romeo over here's my son as well?" Sam nodded and Tyler scoffed at him, walking over. "I see, well this could cause some issues. Why are you hunting me down anyway? You seem pretty grown up and healthy to me, what do you need me for?"
"The Hell we'd need a father like you, since you didn't even know we were alive. All we want to know is how to control our powers, and then we'll be on our way Pops." It was obvious in his tone Tyler wasn't really ready to open up to Musica, which it was very understandable. He'd never had a father figure, his mom always saying something on the lines of "Once you've had a man like your father, you don't want anything else," which a statement like that always made him sick to his stomach.
Sam cringed at her brother's words, but they were all true. A little too harsh for her taste though. "Yea, umm pretty much what he said.... Musica, if you don't mind me just calling you that. We need help, people have gotten hurt because of us before and quite badly. Not to impose upon you or anything, and we'll be gone as soon as you've told us." Now Sam was super nervous, wondering just what she'd gotten them into. She didn't even know why they had powers, just that it was genetically passed from him. He could be a pixie for all they knew.

Unlike Ari, Nessa had a bit more sense. "C'mon, Ari!" she hissed. If she were the guy, she'd want some privacy. Christ, Ari hadn't changed. "Sorry about her," she murmured as she grabbed Ari's elbow and led her past him. As Nessa brushed past Musica, her head flared up again. "Shiiii--take mushrooms!" she corrected herself at the last moment, slapping her sketchbook against her skull. "All y'all at Bai Ching keep triggering It!" she said softly. She managed to open the door to her room, and hurl Ari inside along with her luggage. With a final (pained), apologetic look, Nessa disappeared inside after Ari.

"Look kiddies, tonight's not the night to discuss this. I'll be here first thing in the morning, we'll talk then." Ignoring their looks of protests he walked on, not letting them follow him not matter what. Safely he reached his truck, cranked it up, and headed on his way to the cafe where he lived in an upstairs bedroom. Fortunately for him Luli and Bo lived on their own in another home. Upon arrival he saw the short feminine man he'd known for years waiting for him outside the bar. "Doll, what happened to you? Not that I'm complaining, but it hasn't been THAT long has it?" Musica only grunted and roughly unlocked the doors and pointed inside. "Enough talking, now get in there." Eiji smiled, walking inside.

Sam didn't even try to speak, too nervous to do so. She just let him walk away, taking his word for it. Slowly she turned to Ty and hugged him tightly, filled with a mix of emotions. "Looks like we found him bro, but his he what we expected? What we hoped to find?" She asked in a whisper, unsure of herself and their mission. Had this all been for naught?
"I dunno Sammy, but I do know that Miss Shiiiii-take was pretty hot." He said laughing as Sam punched him in the arm and backed away slightly. Both looking around they couldn't quite see the Aurora girl, or anyone else for that matter. Now they were both nervous. "Uh, Sam? What do we do now? Looks like we got lost, and I have no idea where to look for the Head whatever they are." He asked gruffly as he crossed his arms. They were both very sleepy, having been walking all day long.

Nessa had been inside with Ari all of five minutes and then needed to go back out in the hallway. The girl was the opposite of helpful at the moment! In fact, she was friggin’ off the walls! Sighing, she shut the door behind her and leaned against the wall, head in her hands. Being a Prophetess sucked on occasion… like right now for instance. Looking up, she saw the two kids from earlier standing in the hallway. ”Uh, you two lost?” she asked. They looked nervous, and the girl a bit stressed. ”Is there anything I can do?”

Sam was about to thank the woman desperately when she saw Tyler wink at her and open his mouth about to say something. Quickly elbowing him in the stomach she smiled and nodded. "A little, we kinda just got here and I don't have my own room yet. Nor do I know where I can let my brother stay at." She said sadly, having disappointed by their father's display of himself. Sam was almost glad he'd not been in her life, he'd have sucked as a dad. But now they needed him, and to be nice to him.

Nessa raised a curious eyebrow at the boy, and then turned to his sister. "I just got here myself," she admired, "... but I'd be happy to have you room with me! Your brother can have the tub." Nessa laughed softly. "Plus, you'd be doing me a favor by rooming with me for the night. My bestie in there is a little wound up tonight. I think it's better if she goes back to her own room!"

"I am not wound up! Ok, maybe a little..." Ari admitted, coming back into the hall to check on her friend. "... and it's cool. You should room with her, at least until the morning." Ari shuffled towards her own room. "I'll see you in the morning, Vanessa!" she called before disappearing into her room.
Once there, she tossed off her robe and scrambled into bed. She thought it would be hard to fall asleep, considering all that had happened. However, nearly as soon as her head hit the pillow, she was in a deep slumber.

Shaking her head at her friend, Nessa looked back to the brother and the sister. Her eyes briefly rested upon the boy again. He was cute, she couldn't lie, but they way he held himself and his general demeanor suggested that he liked to play the field. She also had a feeling she wasn't the first girl to get this type of attention that night. There had been oh-so many boys like that back at her school in America... and for Ari's sake, she hoped Musica was a little more tame than his son seemed to be. Not that all that didn't make him cute...
"Whatever Ari-bear!" she teased with a smile. Shaking her head again, she chuckled. "The name's Vanessa, Vanessa Block," she said to them both. "So what'll it be? You're welcome to it if you'd like to."

Sam nodded her quickly and stepped over to let herself into the room, barely keeping her brother in pace with herself. "Oh thank you so much! The name's Samantha Adams, but please just call me Sam. And this fellow-" She was cut off abruptly with Tyler stepping forward and making his own presence known.
"Ah such a lovely name that is, Vanessa. I am Tyler Burke, but there are several things you can call me. Just whatever suits your fancy." Ty winked at Nessa, but Sam only rolled her eyes. This was just the usual with Tyler, something he got from Musica. Except he went way beyond Musica's subtle flirtations.

"Down boy," Nessa said, laughing as she rolled her eyes. "It's nice to meet the both of you! You can call me Ness, or Nessa. Mind if I call you Ty?" she asked, shooting the question to Tyler. Nicknames were easier for her. She headed to her closed and rummaged around on the shelves, finding some spare comforters, sheets, and pillows. She carried these to the bathroom, and placed the comforters at the bottom of the tub to act as a mattress. She hadn't been kidding about Ty sleeping there.
After Nessa had her makeshift mattress in place, she proceeded to make up the bed. She emerged a few minutes later. "It's all set for whenever!" she said cheerfully.
