Officer Hot-Pants SanGrays I'm not sure if this is normal practice, but it's just plain annoying and tiresome more than anything. Actually, that's the official "Gaian Seal of Authenticity". If you're thoroughly enjoying the mechanics of the event, itself, and/or if it's not buggier than the bug exhibit at the zoo, you need to back out immediately; you've undoubtedly been redirected to fake site. mrgreen And if you HAVEN"T thought twice to just buy all the items instead of wasting precious time away from zOMG, OMGPOP, one of the other games, being in forums, or like moi...hording gold time...then yeah...there's really something wrong with the event. xd

I mean THE first thing (even before reading just what the hell was going on). Want a laugh? Look at the prices of event items in the marketplace when an event first starts. I don't know if the sellers are hoping you'll somehow not notice the blaring "there's an event going on" signs and announcements, or if they're just unquantifiably stupid. Hell, one of the items for this go-around was listed by the dozen at 25k and up. I wouldn't pay 25 for something I can nab 5 of for free, so forget that crap.l

I just don't like the events that force you to hang out in the main forums. I wish guild forums could be part of it too. I'd love to go around all our AGA forums to find grunnies instead. 3nodding

I guess they don't do that because most guilds ask you to sign up...so most people wouldn't be interested...but...mwaha...Guild death match...the last guild standing get a set of ginsu knives to mutilate the remaining people in gaia...I'd prefer stabbing them close to death so they all bleed out slowly! twisted xp

I know I've been advertising this previously too, but I'm going to go and see the Iron Sky tomorrow. Okay, I heard about that a while back, but I thought it was supposed to be a serious movie from what I'd heard then. Now I'm just gonna have see it. Almost lost it at "the battle for Earth is gonna get nazi".
I can't just not ask the one nagging question, though; where the HELL are they getting the resources to build all those things???
