"Yeah, we'll meet again, Sugah," Rogue spoke at Bane's back. The lady X-Man followed him out the hole.
Just she exited the building, Rogue got half surrounded by three police cruisers screeching to a halt.
"Oh terrific," Rogue groaned.
"HOLD IT!!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!!"
Rogue rolled her eyes, "Ya gotta be kiddin meh!!! Tha bad guy gets away and you clowns are tryin to arrest meh!!!"

"DON'T MOVE!" they bellowed at her. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!"
They didn't know that she was the "good guy" in the whole situation. They just heard about cars flying, and arrived to find a woman who was not wearing "street clothes" walking out of the large hole in the store wall and was now walking away from the scene and towards an alley.

"Put your hand behind your head, and get on the ground!" they shouted with guns raised and aimed at Rogue. A few officers did rush out and towards the alley, but came back after a moment or two. There was nothing there. Just the girl.

Rogue rolled her eyes, "Ah don't have time for tis." She was practically staring down the barrel of one of the cop's guns... who was way too close.
In the blink of an eye, Rogue snatched the pistol from the officer and crushed it, "Put your pop guns away, Sugah, and leave meh alone. Ah've got a really bad headache."

The officer who's gun had just been crushed took a nervice step back. But that was about it. This was the GOTHAM Police after all. You didn't become a cop here and not have a back bone.
Reaching into a pocket on his belt, he pulled out a device that for all the world looked like a simple tazer and pointed it at her as well. If she could crush a gun, then there was no mistaking that she had something to do with this. AND that bigger guns needed to be brought in, as they had thought.
"This is your last warning! Put your hands behind your head, NOW!"

Wrong move.
The cop raised the tazer towards the fleeing suspect, and adjusted his grip on it. As his fingers moved over it, a small logo reading 'Lex Corp' could be seen on the side of it.
He fired, the small needles sunk into their target....and blasted her with a burst of electricity that had enough power behind it to make Electro himself jealous.

 Rogue was simply fly away; however, the jolt from the tazer was far more powerful than she expected. "YYYEEEEAAAAOOWWW!!!!" The Southerner felt the air breeze by her face as she lost consciousness..... WHAM! Carol woke up dazed on the hood of a police cruiser, "OW!!! That really smarts!" Then, she saw the officers close in, "Eeee. Losing Flynn." Carol rolled off the hood yanking the tazer cord and pulling the device out of the officer's hands. She started to use the cord, whipping it fast in a circle using the gun to knock police out of the way, "I don't think so!" The officers would easily recognize that her voice and attitude changed... One problem: Carol was still having difficulty with her legs and began to stagger...

The change in personality only meant that they had to take the girl down even more. While a few officers kept their guns trained on her, the others pulled out super powered tazers as well. She hadn't cooperated before, so they doubted that this version would either.
One cop fired a shot as a distraction, while two other officers let loose their tazers.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" Carol shouts in agony and drops on the ground, twitching. She tried to remove the tazer lines; however, she passed out. This time for good.

The officers cautiously approached the girl, weapons still drawn on her. Once they were sure that she wouldn't be getting up again, they loaded her into one of their more secure vehichles.
With that, the truck drove off towards the one place she should be able to be handled. Arkham.

Danny sped down the road on his bike, making his way out of the city.
He'd been ditched.
But that didn't matter. He had more important things to deal with at home. And if his wife, for some twilight zone reason was still able to call him when she herself wasn't in this world, then she didn't need to hear any girls in the background any way.
