Celestine Ravencroft Whoa! What a way to wake up! At least things turned out ok. I would have stayed in bed a lot later myself if my phone hadn't rang. I've got an interview Thursady, so here's hoping! MasturChef Ugh... So I was jolted awake at 5 in the morning today because a high speed pursuit passed right by my apartment. And I was sleeping on the couch, by the window, which faces the street. Good news is that the police got the guy no more than 5 minutes after they flew past my house. Oooh! Good luck! biggrin

Had a blast in Orlando and made a few new friends and hung out with some buddies. Not only had an action packed day breaking open some bibles, but also had an awesome morning the next day at Wonderworks!

So earlier I walked across the street from where we're staying to pick up some Subway for supper. The thing is attached to a gas station that has places for both cars and semis, remember that now, to get gas. To get to the Subway I have to go past the semi pumps and up some stairs to go through the Circle K. Going there the semi side was completely empty. So once I have my food I head back outside and notice two semis getting gas. I don't really think anything of it until I hear from one of the semis mooing and hoof beats on the metal floor of the ventilated trailer. Walking past the thing I could definitely smell the distinct smells of the farm. Yep, a load of cattle were being transported somewhere. Sure beats the cattle drives of the late 1800s and early 1900s around here. xp
On the flip side the town we're staying in is the same one my parents stayed in during their honeymoon road trip. We're not going to recreate the last leg of it and drive home in one day though. That would be insane.

It may seem a *tiny* bit early to start thinking about guild events, but even so it doesn't hurt to brain storm. I've got my Halloween event planned as long as we actually *have* a guild event. Not sure what I want to do for the Christmas event though. That may take a bit more thinking, but I do have a bit more time. October will be here before we know it.
So, what kind of activities *in* the guild would people like to see happen this time? More story contests? Art contest? I'm planning another avi contest with a twist this year.
