Now that I have some cover to hide behind, I continue to charge up my spell for a bit longer so that I can hopefully finish this battle with one spell.

I get ready to fire my spell off to cause some devastation, only to notice that there were no more enemies to fight... aggravated, I disperse the energy I charge without fusing, creating a mostly harmless flash a light and cloud of darkness.

I walk up to the demon that I killed and go through his belongings to see if he had anything of use. I decide to only stick to him since Layla and Willow seem occupied with all the other bodies.

Layla:

You find a strange little object that looks like ice, but isn't cold and doesn't melt (and it's not dry ice, either!). You also find a small book of demonic spells.

Leina:

The only thing he dropped before getting his essence scattered is a small black box.

You find three small totems, a small book of demonic spells, and a dagger made of (what you assume to be) demonic essence. The dagger silently calls to you, making you desire to pick it up and use it.

"Well, it can't hurt..." I say, taking the amulet and the totem. I trymy hand at removing the profane energy from the evil items, starting with the dagger, it seemed to be more overtly create from the stuff of evil.

Smilling at her good furtune Willow pockets the spell book before turning her attention to the strange ice-like object. "Well hello there, you certainly are a most curious little gem aren't you" turning it over in her hands a few times she tried sensing for any life signs, if that came up blank she would simply try using her magic on it to try to manipulate it as she did the water in a hope that is was some kind of solidified liquid.
