Star Girl Just a quick question, concerning experience and posting. I am going to be traveling on the road for a couple of days on the road. Now due to having an IPhone that works off the ATT signal I will most likely have access to the internet most of the entire trip. My problem is that copying and pasting on the IPhone isn't exactly easy so I was hoping to restrict the amount of typing concerning just my party. The question being for those two days (this Saturday and Sunday) can I use the some sort of shorthand instead of the normal format? I pretty much not going to be engaging in fights just because that falls under a whole lot more unnecessary typing. I just wish to be able to do this when conversing with the character who mine is about to meet up with and when traveling around so my team can gain the experience. Suggestion. If you find it easier, you can either quote posts in the same thread, or make a Post in your profile containing your current team and just keep a Linked count on the number of experience points to add into the updated team once you have access to a computer terminal that's easier to use. *Has done so on various occasions in other Rps*

Letting you guys know I start school tomorrow and I'm up at 4Am and in class at 5 and its until about 4 PM. But I'm going to a boarding school this year so i don't think i'll have alot of time to be on. Considering my roommate need my computer for his stuff too which is fine because he helps me with my chemistry. (Apparently explosions are BAD, since when?) So i'll get to work on that drawing Kaya, but I'm not going to do it in color because I'm a bid of a problems seeing colors lately. I've got an appointment with my eye doctor in a couple days to see whats up. I really hope I'm not going color blind.
I'll try and check in as much as I can. By the way got a letter from Ken earlier today and he says that he misses you guys and witness protection is getting them taken care of and soon they can come back onto gaia.

I think that we should have a guild newspaper to get the heads up about whats happening around the guild. New people, what Team is winning in the battle, Trade Advertisements, and User submissions like art, fanfics, stories, or just a review on something they've recently seen/heard about regarding pokemon. I would be glad to head this project but I await a decision on whether or not to before I act.
I think it'd be great to have and we could all contribute to it. and like i said I'd be more than willing to lead the project if you guys find it ok.

A guild newspaper sounds like fun. :3 If you'd like to head that off, Song, that'd be awesome. =) If you want to recruit some other people to help you out, feel free if they're up for it too.
And as for your question, Kotengura, that is a VERY good question. xD Apparently Houndour didn't appear in any of the areas here in the rp where they did in the games.
So, as of now, Celadon and Lake Valor's Pokemon appearances have been altered.
Now you can catch Vulpix, Growlithe, Meowth, Murkrow, and Houndour in Celadon where as you couldn't before, and Houndour was added to Lake Valor's wild appearances.
Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. We want to make sure that its easy to catch pretty much any Pokemon. =)

I have a question regarding the Big Mushroom item. Do we need to be at any special location to use it? or can we just use it anywhere and teach our pokemon the move?

Nope, you can use the mushroom anywhere. They're like TMs or Heart Scales in that aspect. However, they can only be obtained in one of the forests.
But once you have the mushroom, it doesn't matter where you use it. =)

Quick question...
So, this is about the future, soon-to-come "Stats" update.
In the games, if you evolve a pokemon, it gets a stat boost.
Will that apply here? Or will the stage-of-evolution not make a difference in this case?

While personally I still have to discuss it with Whysp, I was thinking along the same lines. As of right now, the only benefit to having an evolved Pokemon is the new sprite. xD That's kinda lame. So I think a stat boost, or more hp, or something along those lines could be in order. We still have to discuss it, though. :3
What do you guys think?

I personally would perfer not to have it along evolution lines, but by levels only.
But, I may be overruled. I just don't want to have to evolve Dante just to get a stat-boost.
Oh, and what'd I miss for the plot? XD Another question.

That's true. :3 I like a lot of the pre-evolutions for a lot of the Pokemon (i.e. I think Piplup is adorable, but I HATE its evolutions xD).
And you haven't missed anything for the plot. Whysp posted, so him and Fugue are headed towards the boat now, but that was Friday. Fugue and I have been playing zOMG some more (we totally pwned Duneslam by ourselves xD), but other than that, nothing really to update you on. ^^"

Hm... that may be in your user preferences. I had that for a while after the update long ago. You can set it to show no images whatsoever, whitelisted images only, or all images. If you're only seeing some of the pics, I'd guess you have it set to whitelisted at the moment.
