Lord Wolf sighed and did explain that Tala was asleep and when asked about an antidote he would go and search his drawers for anything. He listened to Dante's words and did consider this thought of bagging it up, just in case. He took a breath and sighed. "Well...I don't exactly have a research team like Delta or the others do. I never saw it as a need except for finding cures to ailments. Other than that, I don't have much except for ailments and developing plants that can survive outside the citadel walls."

He pulled out a small bottle and came back to the bed, handing it to Jesse. The cork was attached with a metal piece of metal so it was on a hinge. "Just have him smell it for a couple or so seconds and he'll wake up faster." Wolf instructed as he handed over the bottle. He would then look to Dante again and nod. "You are welcome to head back to Rydol and I will give you escort if you like."

Lord Wolf would frown when he recalled the criticizing he got from ante for not being more prepared and ready. "I cannot plan for everything she could throw at me. There is a lot she could do. She could have sent more monster like beasts here or could have sent in a item that would have done it. It's hard to plan for everything." He said and sighed softly. "But...I suppose I should find some way to invest in research of things the others already look into that I have yet to. Yet I don't want to give anyone the wrong thought for where I'm going with my pack...." he sighed softly as he move over and sat down in a chair.

He put his head into his hands, thinking and pondering over what to do next to better their chances of keeping Tala and everyone else safe. He didn't want to lose anyone in his pack. "It is up to Tala what he does." He said softly then looked to Tala when he would start to wake.

Crystal sighed relieved happy he was awaking up. "Oh thank goodness you're awake. How do you feel? Any injuries anywhere?" she questioned quickly with concern.

Lord Wolf smiled to Tala as he sat up straight. "Glad to see you are alright. That was amazing what you did. I have never seen anyone use shadows like that in my life." He praised, "just take your time and don't push yourself until you are feeling more awake and aware." He assured so not to see Tala hurt himself somehow.

"Would anyone like anything to drink?" Crystal asked as it dawned on her they were probably thirsty and looked over to Jesse, Logir then Dante before Tala again. If anyone said yes then she would ask what they would want before taking her leave to go and get the drinks for them. If none said they wanted anything she would stay seated on the bed on the other side of Tala so Jesse could be at his side. Gently she would have also taken the bottle from Jesse and closed it before putting it on a side bedside table.

If Tala asked if there were any more assassins left Lord Wolf would shake his head. "For now it seems no but Gloria and her team are doing a very detailed search this time to ensure they miss none since we know now they can fade in and out."

"An escort would be more than welcome," Dante nodded, watching as Jesse did as instructed, sitting back as Tala began to stir... "And I can understand why you wouldn't want people to change their opinion of you..."

Tala was a little overwhelmed by the amount of questions Crystal fired in his direction, but he knew she was only concerned for him... "...Did we win?" his head felt cloudy and his eyes drifted hazily towards the smashed window - which he quickly remembered falling out of. "How did I get back up here?" he looked to Lord Wolf when he commended his actions, "I've always been able to use them...but I've understandably had to hide it..." he remembered how Cyrus tried to ignore his abilities, insisting they were dangerous and shouldn't be used around humans...or him.

Feeling a little worse for wear Tala accepted the offer for some water, he presumed the soreness in his throat was due to the smoke bomb as he'd been quite close when it had gone off...he lay back against the cushions, then suddenly remembered where he now lay and attempted to sit up, feeling like he'd perhaps overstepped his pack boundaries, laying down in the bed of an Alpha...

"What are you doing?" Jesse saw him tense, then moved to stop him from getting up, "You need to rest!"

"She's right." Dante frowned, "You need your strength for when we leave," The comment earned a glance from the group, Dante had always been forward, but he was almost certain that with the morning's events, Tala would be itching to head back to base...

"I'm staying here," Narrowing his eyes at the male's pushiness, Tala insisted on sitting up, swinging his legs round so they now hung over the edge of the large bed,

"But why?" Jesse looked disappointed by his choice, Dante was a little more frustrated with Tala's choice, but kept quiet whilst he waited for an explanation...

"I don't know," Tala couldn't understand why he had to explain himself, but in truth, he'd made the decision a while back to join Lord Wolf's pack and he didn't want to let the man down - especially after all he'd done for him... "But that is my decision."

"But what if those...whatever they were come back?" Logir had assumed his silent observation during their talk, but now broke his silence, "We fought them off this time, but whose to say they won't come back even stronger?"

"Then I will get stronger." It was clear they wanted him to come back with them, but now he was feeling pressured and it was winding him up... He rose from the bed, wobbling slightly under the fading effects of the smoke before moving past the trio, "I'm grateful for everything you've done for me, but I've made my choice and I'm sticking with it."

"Then we will respect your decision," Dante stood, he hid his frustration well, but knew he had to settle the matter before it got out of hand... "Just know that we might not always be available to contact...We have our tasks to do after all..." He was already planning to meet with Lord Raven about Lady Tigress and her assault on the citadel, "If his Lordship has computers however, feel free to drop us a message," he said this before remembering that the male seemed not to have had a lot of practice with technology...

"Thanks," Tala turned to face them, nodding his gratitude before wondering what the group would do next...

"If our vehicle is finished, then may I request we make our move to leave?" he would look towards Lord Wolf with the greatest respect, "We have a lot to catch up on at home and no doubt a lot of paperwork that needs filing before we move on to other matters,"

Logir looked towards Dante, then to the Owl himself, Dante didn't like goodbyes, but there was clearly something else on his mind - he'd run with the male for a long time and knew the signs that Dante was distracted.

Jesse was disappointed and perhaps a little upset, but when their leader started to make preparations to leave, she knew there was little else she could do... "Don't be a stranger...okay?" it was hard for her to say, but Jesse didn't want to linger incase she became physically upset...

If granted the chance to take their leave, Dante would lead the group away, meeting with their escort before collecting their vehicle and starting the journey back towards Rydol.

Perhaps quite understandably, Tala would opt not to continue with his chores for that day, instead he would ask if he could retire to his room and recover from everything that had happened. If granted leave, Tala would make his way there, if it was decided it was best he stayed in Lord Wolf's chambers, he would take on his wolf form and curl up amongst the cushions upon which he'd slept the night before.

Lord Wolf would nod and leave when they would to instruct guards to follow and escort them safely to their destination. He would feel bad for Tala but agree to let him out of his chores. Lord Wolf didn't know Dante but even he could feel like something was off with the group leader. He wanted to question it but thought better of it so held his tongue.

He would insist Tala stay there to be safe, just in case something happened so he, Wolf, would be there to help so Tala could recover peacefully. A couple members of Gloria's team went with the escort as Lord Wolf saw the group off.

Their vehicle was fixed and when they would leave then three other vehicles would move with them to ensure their safety with the pair riding atop of two of the escort transports. He would watch then go back inside and figure out what to do next, wondering what would be the best action to ensure the safety of his people and of Tala against Lady Tigress in the future.

During this, in Sistan, Lysin had been busy trying to track down Trumpet who had suddenly gone missing over the last few days. The old man looked out from an alleyway and sighed softly. "This isn't good. I don't know if he's still here, captured or ran off." He sighed with a groan under his breath before stepping back and leaning against a wall. He closed his eyes and put his head back as he began to think over how the young man had been acting before his disappearance.

He noted Trumpet had always been set on finding Fire and he hated that the young man couldn't let well enough be. Lysin did worry about Fire as well but he wasn't going to question and run around trying to find her. He was willing to let things be and just continue on with life yet Trumpet seemed to think differently and not agree with this idea one bit.

Elsewhere,

Trumpet was on his way walking down a hall lit by torch styled wall lights. He entered a finely decorated room, not quite a throne room but almost like that of a study or somewhere for meetings. He looked around and at the guards that were posted at the doors as they closed. Lady Snake sat with her back towards the young man, writing and getting filled out a new law for her citadel to in a way tighten a loophole she'd been made aware of by an advisor.

He looked around, unsure if he should speak or not. "You made it aware to me you had information on Lord Dragon's possible killer?" she spoke, making him jump and he looked to see her turning around in her seat as she set her narrowed gaze on him.

He nodded. "I do but you must promise me that you won't hurt the one I tell you I think did it. I just want to see them and get them back with me. And don't you dare back out of it just because I tell you either." He said sternly as he watched her.

Lady Snake sighed and nodded. "I'll keep my word. The culprit will be left to remain with you. That will probably be a horrible fate, given how annoying you are and also...what did you say your name was again?"

"Just call me Robert, now, I want this in writing that you won't touch her." Trumpet said as he kept his focus and tone.

The word 'her' caught Lady Snake's ears and she nodded slowly, reaching back and held a paper out to him she had under the other document. "Here you are, written and signed that no harm shall befall the criminal at my hand." She wasn't promising one of the other Owl's couldn't harm the criminal and try them for murder.

Trumpet nodded and walked up, reaching out and took the paper. He read it over then nodded. "Alright, I think it's my friend Viola and I'm looking for her. I want help finding her and I think she's the one who killed Lord Dragon."

Snake eyed him curiously. "How do you conclude this?"

"I looked at the videos that were put on the news of that night and there's a guy running with a woman in his arms that has two colored hair. I made the video part there bigger and I'm sure that's my friend. I want her back to get her away from that guy." Trumpet explained looking down with a fist tightening at his side.

Snake took notice of this. "Why do you care so much where she is at?" she inquired.

"Because...she's special to me. Her laugh and everything about her is amazing and I miss her being part of my life." He admitted softly while keeping his eyes down from Lady Snake who kept hers on him.

"I see..." she muttered and smirked. "You have feelings for the criminal Viola but...as promised, I won't lay a hand on her. So...where is the last you know of her being?" she questioned smoothly.

Trumpet looked up. "I think she is in Delta given the train he boarded with her."

"Thank you, you may go now and I'll be in touch with you." She said softly, reaching into a sleeve and throwing him a card for a number. He thought it over and wrote down a burner number she could call that wouldn't lead back to the group. She took it back and smiled. "I'll contact you later once we have apprehended Viola."

"Thank you and no going back on your word. I have it in writing." He reminded.

"I remember, don't worry." She cooed and watched as he turned, the doors opened and he left her alone in her room. She smirked with this new information. "Oh Troin~" she sang.

"Yes?" the advisor said as he stepped out of the shadows.

"Put in a word to Lord Silver, tell him he must hand over a criminal named Viola immediately or be removed from power." She chuckled softly.

"I will do so, Lady Snake." He bowed and left to put in the orders.

Cyrus hadn't found it all that hard to adapt to life beneath the city, of course he was limited in the things he could do, but he found himself things to tinker with which helped to pass the time. Occasionally he would make trips to the surface but respected how important it was to keep their base a secret, so he seldom travelled above ground unless he really needed to escape the confines for some fresh air - and then he did so under the cover of darkness as it was much easier to hide in the shadows than traverse the city in the daylight.

He'd chosen to adopt the name of Hunter - it had been his profession after all, so it just felt fitting... There had been lots of talk about in regards to finding locations to scout in the Citadels, but they hadn't yet decided on which location to hit. Instead, he'd stuck beside Tool, shadowing the male whilst he worked.

Cyrus of course was a man of few questions, instead he chose to watch, taking in every piece of information, both physically and verbally, the questions he did ask were relevant to the situations at hand and would only further his interest when they were answered.

Skylar Creed had also kept himself busy, after collecting what he'd needed from the cadavers and leftovers from Lord Wolf's Festival of the Hunt, he had returned to Delta, to his new living space where he had reopened connections with several previous contacts - Most were Criminal gangs that were still getting themselves injured in petty brawls, but others were more useful, especially in sourcing him much needed equipment.

He sat at his new desk, absent-mindedly swilling an organ of some sort around a jar with a pencil... His left hand held his chin as he leant forward on the desk before heaving a sigh, "...Bored." he lifted the pencil, watching as the object continued to spin within the jar before eventually swirling to a stop. "What-to-do-what-to-do..." he tapped his lip, then set the pencil down before pushing away from the desk and rising to his feet.

Turning, Creed plucked a fallen book from the shelf and flicked it open, running his finger down the page of numbers which had been relevant in regards to payment for his new laboratory, "Almost there." he nodded, "Almost time..." he had caught wind of a certain personage residing in the city and couldn't help but hope their paths would cross at some point...but it was all a game of patience.

Setting the book back on the shelf, he turned back to the desk, flipping down the lid of his laptop before turning as though ready to head for bed - it was the sound of his mobile ringing however that made him pause and he glanced over his shoulder as the object vibrated noisily upon his desk. "...I don't take calls after midnight." he frowned, turning to leave before breathing a sigh as the mobile continued to ring... Curiosity always got the better of him, so when he drew his finger across to answer, he was more than surprised by the voice that he heard.

"You have some nerve calling me." he scowled, clearly still holding a grudge,

"I'm starting to wish I hadn't." Cyrus frowned,

"What do you want? I haven't got the time for you right now."

"I need to ask you about someone, a girl,"

"I don't give out love advice, although you're clearly in great need of it if you've come to me for help!" he spat, slamming his hand on the desk in frustration before falling quiet as Cyrus tried to get him to simmer down,

"It's about the girl you captured and held in your cupboard." the Hunter finally got the words out, turning away before lifting his collar as someone passed him in the street, "She says you took something of hers...I need it back."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Creed lifted the chain from his shirt as he spoke, twirling the amulet between his fingers before letting it drop onto his chest, "And even if I did, why would you need it anyway?"

"It's a gift from her parents." the words seemed to break the man out of his fury and his expression suddenly changed, "Parents who as far as we know are no longer alive."

...That did it.

"A memento?" a small wash of guilt fell across his face and Skylar lifted the chain before looking at it properly, twisting it between his fingers before setting it back down carefully, ...I had no idea. Clearly he knew how important family keepsakes were and for a brief moment, he set the phone on the desk in order to remove the chain which he set down carefully. "Are you still there?"

"I am." Cyrus had heard the phone rest upon the table and also heard the light thunk, followed by the hiss of the chain as Creed set it down,

"Where are you?"

"Delta...just, wandering around,"

"Meet me by the department store...it'll still be open, so don't you try anything, alright?"

"Likewise." Cyrus could already see the bright lights of the store and started making his way there as Creed shut off the phone and grabbed his trademark scarf from the hangar.

They had not decided yet which to strike next and Silver was going over the information they had gathered in the others to decide which Owl would be the next target. After their searches, Leaf had been going to his 3 jobs more as business had picked up in the electronics store and on this day he was tending to the flower shop. The owner was busy with a sick family member. So they were kinda stationary for the time being, also because Silver was weighing which Owl would be best to go after and how to do it.

Fire during this had been laying low, going out at night to make her way across rooftops and what not. She enjoyed the freedom again but was careful around any guards. She was pretty sure they hadn't forgotten her.

It didn't take long before Leaf was limiting her movements after Silver received orders from Lady Snake to turn over the "criminal" in his citadel. Fire had to stay below ground more but at night when they would sleep, she would slip out on her own to take in the stars and fresh air. She hated being confined but understood why.

On this night she had slipped out and sat on a nearby rooftop, gazing at the stars. I wonder how Renn is doing right now... She pondered silently as the wind blew her two toned hair that she'd cut to fall more around her shoulders.

During this time Tool had been enjoying Cyrus around. He liked having a new tinkering mind around. He currently was sleeping at his desk with a mechanical cat he had started working on as a cute toy for a change. He slept soundly and with Leaf out manning the shop for a few last orders and Cyrus being out, no one was there to keep Fire in and she liked it.

She understood the risk but didn't care. She felt sure she would remain unseen by others and the guards. She also was denying to herself that Renn had turned her in along with Dante. She wasn't sure who had but was hoping it wasn't one of them.

Silver inside the castle was unsure when to carry out the plan. If they carried it out during this heat then it could cause Cyrus or Leaf to be captured or even Fire herself to be captured. She was strong but she had limits. This wasn't going to be easy with the added watch due to someone figuring out it was Fire who did the murder of Lord Dragon. How did they find out? This isn't a good thing and is going to end up making moving about harder for them for us to implement the plan. He thought as he pondered in his chambers.

He walked over and sat down at his desk, thinking with his chin in hand and lowered with his eyes closing. "This isn't going to be a nice event sooner or later. I'm not sure how long she can be kept safe." He whispered quietly under his breath so it was barely even hearable. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the window, trying to come up with a new plan of action for them to reclaim this land from the Owls and get it back to normal.

Cyrus knew Creed would arrive 'fashionably late' so he found a bench and sat down for a while, an arm spread along the top of the seat as he watched the world go by.

With no time limit, he expected the man to take hours, but was more than a little surprised when Creed turned the corner after only ten minutes of waiting. His trademark scarf fluttered behind him as he walked, his glasses glinting in the light of the streetlamp as he finally came to a stop.

"Creed."

"Marshall."

The scientist took a seat and exhaled a sigh, leaning forward slightly, his elbows rested on his knees which with his height extended out to the sides. They sat there in silence for more than a few minutes, then Cyrus glanced sideways, looking down as Creed inspected a silvery object in his hands,

"It's been a while..." he looked ahead once again, acting as though he hadn't seen the necklace, "I trust you're well?"

"As well as anyone staving off a degenerative disease would be..." Skylar turned his head to look at the man, "You on the other hand... Where on Aphelia have you been?" he couldn't help but note a slightly 'off' scent to the man, "It's unlike you not to wash after killing something."

Cyrus raised an eyebrow, then gave a chuckle, "Nothing gets past you..." he smirked, "But I've not killed anything since the Festival." They returned to silence once again, both staring out at nothing in particular, yet at the same time, still vigilant of their surroundings.

"...You had better take this before I forget." Without turning his gaze, Skylar held out the necklace by the chain.

Cyrus took a moment to regard the silvery amulet that hung from the chain, then took it without a word, putting it safely into a pocket on the chest of his coat before rising to his feet.

Creed lifted his eyes at this point, watching as the man stood, half expecting to hear that 'this was it then' and he'd never see the man again until his services were once again required...

Letting out a groan, Cyrus stretched, spreading his arms out wide before allowing them to drop to his sides where he would naturally check his weapons were secure, "I'm a little peckish..." he kept his head focused upon the street ahead of them, then flicked his gaze towards the scientist, "You look like you could use something to eat...?"

"Well...with a profession like mine...you do forget to feed yourself from time to time..." Creed looked a little embarrassed, but followed suit, rising to his feet and walking with the man towards the doors of the department store.

The scientist would grab a basket along the way, looping the handle around his arm so he kept his hands free, there was no telling who would be paying for whatever was purchased, so he kept his sights on something small and packed with proteins that would help keep him going until he remembered to feed himself again.

It felt strange to be perusing supplies with another living soul... Naturally, Cyrus was used to hunting alone, taking only what he needed and leaving what wasn't salvageable to the creatures that roamed the outlands...but under these circumstances, inside a citadel, it was all readily to hand and he could claim what he wished - provided he had the coin to pay for it...

"Ooh! Chocolate Eggies! I've not seen these since I was but a child!" Creed's sudden interest in something sweet turned the man's gaze and Cyrus approached, tilting his head as Skylar plucked several bags of the product from the shelf before dropping it into the basket

"You were a child?" Cyrus joked, having always seen Creed as one who at times had never grown up...ever inquisitive and yet at the same time, definitely one of those left on the outside of groups because they were deemed too unique to flow with the crowd...

"Laugh all you will, but they are to Die For!" unable to wait until they reached the tills, he slit open a packet and popped one of the little chocolate eggs into his mouth, making a sound of pure pleasure before moving to catch up as Cyrus rolled his eyes and continued walking.

They wandered around for a little longer before finally, as the clock reached about 2 in the morning, they decided to head their separate ways. Splitting the bill, they shared out the 'goodies' between two bags and left the store, lingering a little longer outside of the store before heading for home.

Cyrus would of course make his way cautiously back to base, ensuring he wasn't followed before slipping down below ground. He didn't plan on eating much of what he'd bought, rather, he felt it might be a nice treat for the group, seeing as though they rarely got above ground to get anything more than much needed supplies.

Making no sound as he found his way to the main room, he set the bag down on the table, removing his hat and coat before making sure to transfer the necklace to a pocket on his person so he could deliver Fire's necklace straight to her when the awoke.

~*~*~

Finally reaching his home, Creed set his own bag down, making his way through the residence - popping another chocolate egg into his mouth as he walked, before loading up one of his laptops and sitting down.

"Now let's see if this has worked." He set the precious bag of sweets down on the desk before opening up a map, watching as an array of small, coloured dots appeared on the screen before him. "Red...green...orange...white...Ah! Purple!" the newly formed light flickered as the communication faltered slightly, becoming stronger as Creed clicked upon its location. "Hmm... Where are you now?" he tilted his head at the video that appeared in the right corner of the screen, a dull light emitted from the centre of the room, illuminating an outline of someone sat at a table... "Figures he'd choose to live underground... but that would explain the smell..." He noted the coordinates down in his notebook, then shut down the laptop and headed for bed - taking his chocolates with him.

Trumpet had been waiting anxiously for any call from Lady Snake, keeping quiet to Lysin about what he did. He didn't want to scare the old man about him meeting with an Owl and telling about Fire. He hoped Lady Snake would call soon about finding her. I hope Fire's alright. She was always so sweet...I hope she is still the same as I remember... He thought quietly as he stared at his phone from the steps on the backside of a building. He closed his hand around the phone and put it into his pocket before looking up at the sky.

Trumpet pushed up off the step and walked down the remaining few and made his way out of the alleyway. He stepped down the street and kept his head down while his mind was on Fire. He didn't even look up when his shoulder was bumped.

"Hey!" Flute shouted then paused, blinking. "Trut?" she asked using his nickname and all he did was shrug his shoulders. She changed direction and began to walk at his side with a grocery bag in her arms. "Hey, what's wrong? You been acting not quite yourself for a while now."

"I'm fine Flu, don't worry." Trumpet said gently with a distant tone.

She frowned hearing this. "No, something's up and I wanna know what's on your mind lately. You've barely been your normal self."

"Isn't that a good thing?" he questioned as he slightly pulled his phone out to glance at it to see nothing and put it back into his pocket.

Flute noticed this and watched curiously. She held her tongue on the phone thing before sighing. "Look, I am worried about you. You keep seeming distracted by something and I'm just wondering what it is. Don't you think you can talk to me?"

"I do but there's nothing to talk about. I'm just waiting on a lead." He answered almost flatly.

"A lead?" she asked and kept following. "Do you mean you're still trying to locate Fire?" He didn't answer her as she shook her head. "Trut, you need to stop living in the past and let her go. She's moved on with her life plus she's probably not even the same little kid we knew her as back then. Remember? She was around her teens back then. I doubt she's the same now as she'd be grown."

"Just leave it alone?" he asked quietly, coming to a stop. "You must be kidding. Why would I leave it alone? I like her and she liked me so she's going to be coming back once I find her and things will be just like they used to be....you'll see."

Flute felt a bothered twisting in her stomach. She stepped back from him, watching nervously. "Um...are you sure you're still you? I think you've crossed a line Trut and you need to come back on this side before you cause something bad to happen."

"Nothing bad will happen, I promise you that." He then began walking again. "I'll see you later at the place." With that he was gone.

Flute watched worried and sighed softly, clutching the groceries close to her chest. I have a bad feeling about all of this. Something's not right with him but how do I tell Lysin that I suspect one of our own is going rogue? she thought silently as she set her eyes on the ground, ignoring as people walked past and around her while she was lost in thought.

Eventually she would move and return to base with the food. She put it away while pondering when to say something, if anything, to Lysin about her concerns about Trumpet. Technically she couldn't prove anything but she had a feeling and it was normally not wrong, or not far off.

The others were doing their own thing, if not sleeping as Lysin was up as usual, going through the news and reports. He was searching to check up on the Owl's activity and see if there was any new developments he should be knowing about.

~*~*~*~*~

Back in Delta, Fire had finally decided she was done looking at the stars. She stood, dusted herself off and did a flip back onto the roof more and turned, making her away across it in a walk before moving into a run. She jumped and continued before leaping down into an alleyway. She looked around and slipped down under the manhole cover.

She would make her way back to the hideout and when there, she paused seeing movement. She moved quietly with her steps just lightly echoing off the cement and metal walls. She peeked inside and saw Cyrus was up. She groaned softly, hanging her head with eyes closing. Why's he gotta be up? she thought in defeat, feeling sure if he saw her then he'd either lecture her like Leaf or he'd tell Leaf and then she'd get a lecture about staying hidden by Silver's orders for her safety.

Maybe I can slip in and not get seen... She took a breath and moved, watching him and tried to creep in behind him, watching her step and didn't see the necklace as she made her way towards her room. She followed along a wall then another, lowering down and made a dash when his back would be turned, aiming to slip in past her curtain unnoticed.

If he saw her and called her out on being awake, she would come back out and sigh. "Please tell me now if you'll lecture me like Leaf or tell Leaf and let him lecture me?" she would groan while making her way over and sitting at the table. If this happened she would then think and look to him. "What were you doing out late? I know Leaf's working late so what about you?" she would try turning the questioning and focus off herself. If that failed and if she was asked why she was out late she would sigh. "I was just watching the sky, no biggie. I stayed out of the guards sights by staying above their heads. They never look up so don't worry."

If he didn't see her then she would slip to her bed, remove her shoes as quietly as she could as well as her new cloak and put them away before she would slip into bed. She wanted to try and be stealthy. She would then yawn and actually drift to sleep.

Roughly an hour or two later Leaf would return, looking exhausted and munching on the rest of a hamburger he had picked up on the way back. He entered and looked around. He put the food in his mouth and removed his coat, hanging it up and would move to check on Tool then Fire. If Cyrus was up he would look to him. "Hey, how are ya doing? Everything quiet down here?" he'd ask, not aware Fire had snuck out.

He'd take a bite of his sandwich and lean back against a counter, watching Cyrus so they could chat a little if he was up for it.

Cyrus had grown accustomed to Tala sneaking about after dark, so at the sound of movement - albeit stealthy, he would turn, watching as she attempted to slip by unseen. "Ah! Fire," he tilted his head when she asked if he was going to lecture her about being up late, "Actually, I was hoping to speak with you, just didn't know if you were about," he saw a lot of his old charge in her and it made him wonder how Tala was faring...

He reached into his pocket, drawing the amulet out by its chain, "I might just have something for you..." he held it out for her to see, "To say someone felt more than a little guilty for taking it would be an understatement..." he didn't want to mention that Creed had quickly forgotten about it once it had changed hands.

~*~*~

Dante wasted no time separating himself from the others when they finally made it back to base. The pair took it all in their stride, presuming he was just off to write up about their experiences in Omega, they went their own ways with Logir heading off to catch another forty winks, whilst Jesse decided it might be worth fixing herself something to eat before finding someone (namely Renn) to antagonise...

In his study, Dante had fixed himself a warm drink before opening up his laptop. His intention was to write to Lord Raven and give him a brief rundown of their experience in Omega, but there was more playing on his mind that he felt only worth informing his superior about...Namely Tala.

He ran briefly through what had happened following the festival, how they'd rescued their latest comrade from the Hunt before becoming well-treated prisoners themselves after Lady Tigress had launched a hunt of her own to reclaim her 'Pet' ...He mentioned how they had come to stay within the walls of Lord Wolf's residence, gaining a tour of the location and some of his belongings before spending the night there, he then went into detail of the creatures that attacked, how they'd overpowered him and locked him away before taking on his form in order to get close to their target...which had been Tala.

At the mention of the youth's name, Dante now revealed his concerns - He had overheard the staff talking and it concerned him to hear that the male had apparently taken on the form of a wolf and been welcomed into Lord Wolf's residence where he had requested entry into the Owl's pack... That was one concern, but someone had also mentioned that he had drawn up the shadows and used them to change his form...

"If my suspicions are true, he could either be a great ally...or a very dangerous enemy." he paused as someone knocked at his door, "I'm busy." he turned to look, lowering the lid of his laptop as the door opened slightly,

"Only me," Anji peered around the door, a tray in her hands, "Just thought you might need a little pick-me-up after your trip?"

"Cookies?" The smell wafted into the room, earning a gurgle from the male's stomach,

"Freshly made," Anji smiled, placing the plate on the male's desk before leaning up against the edge, "Jesse said you got into a little...trouble, but hopefully you're alright?"

"I'm fine," Dante nodded, taking a cookie and dipping it into his warm drink before taking a bite, "Nothing beats home cooking," he flashed his trademark grin, allowing her to hug him before sitting back as she returned to the door,

"Don't work too hard okay? You don't need to write a report every time you go somewhere," she smiled, then took her leave.

Dante breathed a sigh when she had gone, setting the half-soggy cookie back on the plate before lifting the lid of his laptop.

"It's clear Lady Tigress has seen something in him, hence why she seems so intent on capturing him, but with Tala insisting we leave him behind in Omega, I can only update you on his whereabouts and hope that her intentions are just for personal reasons and not for more dangerous plans that may affect the other citadels..."

He would take the time to note down a handful of other important factors that, should Lord Raven need leverage in the future, he now held an ace up his sleeve, but in the end, Dante would draw the message to a close and send it before finishing his cookie and heading to bed.

Fire was shocked to say the least when he didn't lecture her nor answer her question about Leaf. When he pulled out the pendent, her fallen face fell more as she stared in awe. She thought this was a dream but it wasn't because she was awake. Slowly she reached out and took it into her hands, carefully looking it over. Not a scratch was on it. "It's....in perfect condition...just as I had last had it." She said softly.

She looked up to Cyrus, tears in the corners of her eyes and she suddenly dashed forwards out of her chair, her arms opening wide as she came and closed them around his neck. She gave Cyrus a tight hug as the tears slipped free down her cheeks. "Thank you! Thank you!" she said happily in a quiet voice so not to wake Tool up.

She would hold the hug for a bit longer before slowly letting go and wiping her eyes. "You have no idea how much this means to me." She said gently, sounding truly grateful to have it back. "They and be they I mean Creed, should feel guilty for taking it. That lowlife taking a female's personal belongings like that, the nerve!" she huffed and moved, sitting and put the necklace on, smiling as she touched it.

"Is there anything I can do to repay you?" she asked as she looked up from the jewelry. "I could steal something for you if you want me to. I'm very good at that." She said with pride, grinning some to him. "Or would you just prefer me to stay out of trouble and not get my butt captured by the guards like Silver asked?" she asked a bit disappointed sounding in her tone. She understood why but she still hated that they thought she'd get caught again so easily like she had with Creed that one time.

"It's not like they are using Creed so no way they are gonna catch me. They can't catch me like Creed did. They don't got the smarts nor the stuff for it. Besides, why would he help them out anyways?" she said as she felt confident in herself once more, pushing back in her chair to start rocking on the two back legs, a dangerous thing as it could lead to her falling and smacking her head on the cement metal flooring.

~*~*~*~*~

Inside the palace of Delta, Silver tossed and turned, groaning before sighing as he got up and went to his phone. He turned it on and scrolled through. He looked to his arm that looked fine but it was feeling odd with a few spots having faded faster than he recalled as normal. I wonder if stress is causing this...possibly. Either way, best have it checked out to be safe. I just hope he answers and doesn't mind stopping by tomorrow night. He thought while he looked and found Skylar's number he had under a hidden menu.

He pressed the button to dial him and waited. He would listen to it ring and if it went to voice mail he would release a breath and speak softly. "Skylar, I need you to check out my arm. The tattoos are faded in some area's but not others so it's not wearing evenly like it normally would. It also feels a bit odd so I was wondering if you would have time to come by the palace here in Delta tomorrow night to check me out or I could try to come to you but I wouldn't be able to be there long, being head of Delta makes it hard to have time outside these walls without scrutiny from one of the other Owls. Give me a call back for your answer at this number. Thanks, bye."

If Skylar picked up then Silver would discuss with him about him coming by tomorrow night and tell him he would be allowed inside as a guest and should have no problems getting inside. But that if he were to have trouble then he, Silver, would be down there to greet him and show him to his, Silver's, chambers so he, Skylar, could check him out and see if he can figure out what's going on with his arm or if it's just his imagination.

After either leaving a message or their conversation, he would hang up and try going back to bed. He wished things were simple but he knew there was a fine line he was walking and he had to be careful or it would be his head as well as those in his group.

~*~*~*~*~

Below ground, Leaf would make his way down and to the base. He looked and blinked and smiled. "Hey guys, is everything okay?" he asked quietly and was curious as he saw Fire smiling.

"Yea...everything's fine." Fire said softly, reaching up and holding her pendent close to her. "I got it back...thanks to Hunter." She whispered happily. She would stay put for a bit then stand. "I think I'm going to turn in for the night. Thank you again." She gave Cyrus another hug before departing to her room, looking to her pendent again and couldn't remove the smile from her lips.

Leaf smiled as he watched then looked to Cyrus. "I'm shocked you got it back. Was it hard or easy?" he inquired as he was curious about how hard or easy it was for him to get back from Creed.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 17, 2017 3:12 pm

Cyrus hadn't expected her to hug him, but he just smiled and gently patted her back until she finally released him, he was just glad she was grateful, "There's no need to repay me, just promise that you'll stay safe and vigilant in all your adventures." This would sound strange to him as he said it, for he had rarely left Tala to his own devices except for when he needed to gather rations... The youth had lived such a sheltered life with him...sure, he'd taught him all the skills he needed to survive, but Cyrus had never let him past the perimeter alone for fear he would be captured...or worse... He had to wonder what the male was up to now, remembering the state he was in upon their last encounter... So much time had passed between that point.

Still, he set his concerns to the back of his mind for later and instead turned when Leaf would make his appearance, nodding when asked if all was okay before taking another hug from Fire as she decided to head for her room.

"It was actually a lot easier than I expected," he recalled how guilty Creed had sounded over the phone, "I even had the chance to bring back some supplies, well...they're more of a treat than anything we really need..."

~*~*~

Naturally, Creed would allow the call to ring through to voicemail, rolling over in bed and watching as it rang out before picking up the phone and waiting to hear the message. "...Fading already?" He reached for his glasses, pulling them on before sliding from his bed and making his way across the room.

Locating his study, Creed loaded up his laptop, finding a small notebook within which he had noted down all the dates that he had seen the male - and what he'd done during that visit. "It's not happened like this before..." he looked to the screen now, aware that eventually the serum he used in Silver's Tattoos would start to wane, requiring a stronger mix, but not so soon... "What's changed?" he sat down in his chair lacing his fingers together before resting his chin on them as he leant forward on his desk. "Surely becoming an Owl is no more stressful than his everyday life as a rogue..." Knowing time would be of the essence if he needed to be at the palace by nightfall, he started reworking the original concoction, strengthening several ingredients before testing it out on a sample he'd collected before...

~*~*~

Tala would awaken once more in Lord Wolf's Chambers - he was starting to get used to it now, rising at a certain point just before dawn and dressing quietly so the Lord could catch up on some much needed sleep; he would meet Crystal as he had done for some time now, following her for some chores, before striking out on his own - the pair had worked out that they would complete their tasks more quickly if they split up, taking care of their respected jobs before meeting back for breakfast.

He liked being kept busy as it allowed the time to fly, which in turn distracted him from any concerns that may have arisen in his mind. Today, after their pause to take breakfast in the hall, he had taken on the chore of dusting the frames and antiques that seemed almost as clean as the last time he'd dusted them.

Still, he worked quietly and carefully, ensuring he did a proper job before moving onto the next task.

The Deltas still looked down on him, but after the incident regarding the pair that had tried to bully him on his first day, they had learnt to keep their distance. Instead, they would mutter words about him when he wasn't present, or if they had the nerve, took their frustration out on the other Omegas... They soon learnt that they wouldn't escape his retaliation however when on one bright morning, following an incident where an Omega had been cornered and beaten for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, a swarm of small, black, crawling creatures had surrounded the small gang who had taken cover in a nearby room... He hadn't quite relished in hearing their screams and wails, but he couldn't help but pass by the door on his way back to witness the aftermath as the creatures disappeared leaving the males lying in a tangled mess on the floor - Of course, nobody was injured...they just learnt not to pick on those below them when he was around.

Eventually, he would meet up with Crystal at the end of their daily tasks before making his way to see if Lord Wolf, or Gloria had anything else they needed doing.

~*~*~

Creed would work well into the evening before packing up his equipment and boarding a train towards the castle. The guards would eye him cautiously as he had not declared his visit beforehand, but nobody would advance, instead, they would watch from their posts as the strange gangly man, with his long coat and lilac scarf flittering in the wind behind him, made his way calmly up to the castle doors before gaining entry inside.

"It's so nice to be able to just walk into a residence such as this without confrontation." He decided to test a door that was not on the path to his destination and drew away with a smirk as a guard who had been standing watch tensed his grip on the weapon in his hand, "I see not everywhere is without limits..." he mused, "But you're doing your job..." he eyed the man from head to toe before grinning maliciously, "...Should you ever change your mind on your current profession, be sure to give me a call, I need all the subjects I can get." He turned at the call of his name and flashed another smirk back at the guard before following the voice to where he hoped to find the newly appointed Owl awaiting his visit.

Leaf nodded and bid Fire goodnight. He went over and looked into the bag, plucking out a piece of candy and popped it into his mouth after unwrapping. "Well we can always use a treat once in a while. Treats never hurt anyone in moderation." He looked to Cyrus. "I'm shocked it was so easy. You sure he didn't do something to it? I mean, isn't he kinda out there?" he questioned.

~*~*~*~*~

A male servant met Creed and nodded to him, warmly greeting him. "I'm glad you are so pleased with the lack of confrontation. I did tell them by order if his Lordship that you were coming. You are Mr. Creed, yes? Right this way." He lead the way and didn't miss Creeds, what he'd call, curiosity.

When Creed pulled on a door handle to test it and see what might happen, the servant stopped and turned, releasing a small sigh. "Mr. Creed, this way please. I request you don't divert from the way we are going to Lord Silver's chambers." He heard the comment to the guard and looked to Skylar again, a bit confused and concerned. "You are very...eccentric. More so than Lord Silver gave me to think."

He looked ahead and at Creed again before away once more. He would come to a stop eventually at the door leading into Silver's room. He knocked and waited. "Enter." A voice called and he opened the doors, entered and bowed.

"Mr. Creed is here."

"Good, you may leave us." Silver instructed and the servant bowed and left, closing the door once Skylar was inside and did as told, leaving them both alone. Silver looked to Creed and gave a soft smile. "Hey, been a while but nearly as long as normal. Sorry for the short notice call. I was hoping it was just my imagination about my arm but...it's not." He stood from his seat and walked over, lifting the long sleeve to show the tattoo with its faded spots as other spots weren't faded at all.

"I was hoping you'd be able to figure out what's going on with it. I've never seen it be patchy in fading nor has it ever faded this soon." He watched the tattoo then looked to Creed. "Any ideas about why this is happening?" he would pull over a chair and sit wherever Creed decided to sit and let him see his arm. "I had a thought of maybe stress but I don't know if that could cause this."

If he was asked about his stress level, Silver would think about it. "Well...I haven't any extra than before with a certain someone, but there might have been an added bit I think after Lady Snake put out the notice on Viola. You've met her and you know how daring she can be." There was a lining and stress to his voice with worry for Fire. "She is too cocky for her own good and in walking that fine line between Shader and Owl has been trickier than I expected." He said the last part softer so only Creed would hear him.

"I can't just stop leading them to focus only only on being an Owl." He took a breath and sighed softly, sort of heavily.

~*~*~*~*~

Things had been fairly quiet in Omega. Crystal had enjoyed her time with Tala and even Lord Wolf and Gloria was impressed. She was also impressed the way he stood up for others against bulliers. Because of how well he was doing, and his standing up for others, brought Gloria and Wolf to discuss a possible raise in ranks for Tala.

Crystal agreed to the splitting of work and when they met up and ate, she would ask if anything happened, mentioning she thought she heard screams. She would giggle if told about scaring the bullies. She would nod and pick up their dishes as he went to speak to Lord Wolf and Gloria to see if there was anything they needed done.

When he would arrive the pair would invite him inside so they could talk.

~*~*~*~*~

Lady Snake was laying in wait, knowing it was just a matter of time before Fire would mess up. "Oh litter Shader~ Come out, come out wherever you hide~" she whispered softly to herself from her throne, lightly chuckling as she was anticipating Fire's misstep.

~*~*~*~*~

Fire stayed inside for the most part but did step outside at night still and was starting to test her limits slowly. She was still staying on the roofs but at times she was staying and walking around the alleyways a little more. It wasn't hard to figure that soon she'd be back to her old ways like she had been doing with Creed.

Leaf wasn't happy with this so had Tool start working on a tracker to hide in one of her daggers so if anything happened they could follow it. Tool had also tried making up a tracker for a hair clip for Fire's bangs.

Cyrus was pleased that Leaf was alright with his bringing of confectionery into the hideout - it hadn't been too much and he'd not had anything like that in a long while, so he'd been worried that it wouldn't be allowed because it was an 'addictive substance' and would no doubt end up in someone getting a sugar rush or an upset stomach from eating too much...that and he didn't want to be called up as a bad influence for tempting them so... realising things were okay, he calmly leant over and popped a small chocolate into his mouth, finishing it before answering, "I had thought Creed may have hidden something inside the locket, but I made sure to scrunitise it before I gave it back," he smiled, then frowned, "But knowing Skylar, he's probably hidden something somewhere..." his thoughts turned to his clothing and he turned his shirt around to inspect before looking towards his coat...

~*~*~

"No, I'm the Jarai Alpha..." Creed couldn't help but be sarcastic to the servant's question about if he was really him, "And just incase you take my word, I am indeed Skylar Creed...oho...that rhymes...Indeed Skylar Creed...haha hmm..." he muttered amusedly to himself, following closely behind, almost seemingly ignoring the comment about his unconventional behaviour, "Everyone has a little peculiarity hidden away somewhere...I'm sure you have a hobby...perhaps collecting pretty doilies or something...?" this was of course to be taken as a mild insult - Skylar wasn't one to allow someone to make a comment about him and walk away unscathed...

He took on a completely different manner when he was presented to Silver. It was amusing to taunt those who were easily antagonized...but when it came down to business, he became extremely focused.

"It gets me out of the office..." This would be the last lighthearted comment he would make in that particular moment in time, "Let me see." taking a seat, he extended his arm to take Silver's when offered, adjusting his glasses for a better look before rubbing the area with his other hand, seeing if it caused the man any discomfort or perhaps provoked any movement in the pattern that had been tattooed into place.

"You and I are both aware it would eventually outgrow the serum...but this reaction is quite concerning, especially as it should have lasted you much longer...being an advanced concoction already." he released Silver's arm and reached for his bag, "Besides your rise to glory, what else has changed? Your diet? Your health...your stress level perhaps?" He would listen as Silver explained about Lady Snake putting out a notice on Viola, nodding that concerns for those considered close would naturally affect the body in some way... "I'm sure our little Firebrand is keeping herself far away from trouble..." he meant this sarcastically, knowing well that the female was one of the least likely to keep her head down in such circumstances... "I have prepared a stronger serum, if you wish to try it," he had already come with everything he needed, "It has been tested, but with such short notice, I cannot guarantee that it is without some side effects..." he was certain that it wouldn't kill the man, Creed didn't set out to euthanise his patients without reason, but there was no telling what Silver would experience following the procedure...

"The decision is up to you," Naturally, Skylar might have taken anyone else prisoner and allowed everything to run its course whilst observing it closely as time went by, but with an Owl in his pocket, Creed wasn't prepared to let an old acquaintance down.

Leaf frowned. "I hope he didn't track you. If he did we might need to find a new place to live. I don't trust someone who would capture one of our friends as a friend to be trusted on where we live. Or does he not know you're working with us?" he asked and began to search the bag of goodies just in case a tracker had been dropped in there. If there was a tracker there then he would pull it out but if not then he'd try to think of where else a tracker could have been hidden.

~*~*~*~*~

Silver thought, taking a breath and looked at his arm. When Creed had pushed on it in spots, there was a small response with his fingers in a couple places but no response in the others spots. He could try the stronger dose but if he did and a side effect happened then he would need to explain to others. But on the other hand, if he didn't and he loss use of his arm, then he'd need to explain that to the other Owls and he didn't think they'd accept or like knowing he had a record as a Shader.

He looked to his arm and touched it, weighing the option. If he could use his arm and hand for a bit that would be fine, but since the possible side effects were unknown, he'd then need to explain why whatever happens is happening. He didn't want Creed in trouble with any of the other Owls nor did he want his rebel team caught up in anything.

"...How much longer do you think my arm will be able to be usable before I'd have to have you treat it with the stronger serum?" he asked and moved his arm, testing it and his hand movement as well. There was some stiffness and discomfort. "How long would it take for you to know how that serum might react down the road?" he wasn't sure if there was any tests that Skylar could do to know this. "And would a newer skin sample help any in figuring this out?"

He paused then continued after a bit. "I am considering it but if we don't know what or when those unknown side effects will happen, then I'd rather just blame it on something like a spoiled meal for my arm not working than put your name in the mud. I don't want you having trouble with the other Owls and I don't want my group, though small, getting revealed either. Yet if Fire were to get herself captured then I'm not sure what else I'm going to be able to do." He put his head into the hand of his good arm, closing his eyes as he took a deep breath and sighed.

"Maybe I need to assign a new temporary leader for them. They do got Hunter now in there and he seems fairly capable as Leaf is capable." He pondered over this, wondering if that would be a wise choice and the best option for his how means of maintaining use of his arm. He knew whoever was in charge Fire wouldn't listen anyways so that wouldn't stop her if she wanted to return to her old ways.

"I don't want to see her die the way her parents had." He nearly whispered before sitting upright again. "Maybe I'm too involved with them and with her but her parents did all they could to protect her as did Lysin before I found her and I don't want her suffering a tragic fate." He looked to his arm. "I think I'll try using it as long as I can while assigning more work to Leaf and Hunter. If I lose use of it or more fade and I lose almost all use of it then I'll give you another call. Until then, maybe you can test and make sure the stronger serum is safe to use? Or at the least wouldn't have any easily noticed side effects down the road?"

Silver felt bad for calling and disturbing him with this choice but he was feeling it was the safer bet. He didn't want Creed being caught up and arrested for any reason due to an unknown thing happening later. He figured if anything he could improvise or blame it on a bad meal or something like that which would sound reasonable yet keep all parties safe, for a time anyways. Or that was his hope.

Cyrus was starting to grow concerned, what if Creed was up to his old tricks? He made his way over to where he'd hung his jacket, scrutinising every nook and cranny before turning it upside down and shaking it thoroughly revealing... Nothing.

The tiny device had been fixed into place and wouldn't budge unless physically removed, but as it was so small, neither would have heard it even it had it fallen off in the rough shaking... Returning his coat to the hangar, Cyrus exhaled a sigh, "Looks clean, but maybe Tool has something that can set our minds at ease?"

~*~*~

"I can't say for sure," Creed shook his head, "Depending on how quickly this has occurred, there's a chance you might get a few weeks, or a few days..." he lifted his eyes in thought when asked about how long he'd presume it would take for him to work out how safe his serum was... "I'd need a few samples to ensure it adapts to you, blood, skin...enough to test thoroughly." as always, he'd come prepared for any outcome and when permitted, would waste no time in taking what he needed,

"You train alone, right?" Skylar looked towards his patient, "Accidents happen, so perhaps you...damage your arm whilst training, maybe you fall funny, I don't know, but nerve damage can cause temporarily paralysis in some muscles," having studied things like this for most of his life, Creed knew what he was saying, "If anything goes awry before I've had the chance to complete my experiments, then you could use that as an excuse. I suggest you call me the second this happens though. Tested or not, I don't want to think what might happen if you go without for too long..."

Creed would round up the appointment, putting away the samples he'd gathered before rising to his feet and placing a small pack of capsules on the table, "Keep those out of reach of...morons." he smirked, "They're painkillers if anyone asks, which is mostly true... Don't operate heavy machinery though, not that you will..." perhaps this was another joke? Either way, Creed would bid the man farewell, tipping an imaginary hat and reminding the man to call him the second anything changed for the worse...

He couldn't help but poke some fun as the servant came to show him out, he liked playing with the minds of lesser individuals... The guards were always a laugh and a half as well... Still, he took his leave and would head for the station when he was free from the castle.

Leaf nodded. "Maybe...we can talk to him in the morning. I did ask him to outfit Fire's daggers with trackers so we can keep track of her. I know she isn't going to stay put and it's only a matter of time before she gets gutsy again." He stretched. "But for now we should get some sleep. Or well I'm going to turn in. You can do what you want." He patted Cyrus on the shoulder. "Night." He then made his way to his room to rest.

~*~*~*~*~

Silver nodded. "I'll call you the second I lose use of my arm and hand. Make sure the serum is as safe as possible until that time and I'll remember to use that excuse. I do train alone. Not surprised you remember that." He took the packet and nodded. "I will keep it away from morons, promise and you know I won't be operating anything heavy machinery." He chuckled softy and bid him farewell also.

The male servant came and began to lead him out, shivering a bit under the way he would poke fun. He did at times come back with his own come backs at times when he could, mostly pointing out logic if he could. He slightly was questioning why Silver would allow such a man near him.

He showed Creed out and bid him farewell and safe travels, the doors closing behind him. The guards watched to ensure Creed went on his way.

~*~*~*~*~

Time would pass with things staying fairly quiet which bothered Lord Wolf since he didn't like it when someone plotting laid silent for too long. It meant they were scheming behind the scenes and he didn't like that uncertainty. He was doing what he could to ensure full safety to the most he could. He also had advanced Tala to the next level being up to Delta but he still had Gloria ensure his safety with his new chores. Crystal was thrilled for him and still met with him for meal time as she enjoyed it, so long as Tala had time and would have it with her.

Fire also had begun to return to her old ways. She accepted the upgraded daggers, not aware of the trackers. She also didn't know about the clip Tool made and presented her was a tracker. She just thought it was a nice gift to help keep her hair out of her face. She liked how it matched the style of her booster boots that gave her a an extra push when she'd kick the inner sides of it.

She was returning to her old ways and staying out longer as well as messing with the guards. She was getting her old cockiness back and it was freaking Leaf out. Silver had handed control over temporarily to him and Cyrus to keep things running to the best of the group. He stated that he had to hand over control to them for his health and he would retake control if needed later on. He didn't want to do it this way but what else could he do?

The guards were growing frustrated and annoyed at Fire for teasing them and taunting them as if they were children to her. She had gotten almost back to her old ways, jumping around and alternating between street and roof, entering businesses without permission after dark to get anything that would suit her or Tool. She knew if she brought Leaf back any stolen items he would have a huge fit over the matter.

At this time she was on the roof of a building overlooking a guard stand where some new shipments were being held in the docking station for inspection. “Time to make a move.” She said to herself, putting her hood up and smirked, checking her pistol and her daggers. “Alright,” she tilted her head left and right, causing it to crack lightly. “Time to get this show on the road.” She was excited, the thrill and rush filling her before she stepped backwards and made a dash forwards. She leapt off the building and down, pushing off the side to another and made her way down safely to the ground as she took a back route to where the new stuff was being stored.

Leaf during her little new heist was busy figuring out what they should do. He looked at the tracker screen and groaned seeing Fire was on the move. “Greeeeeeat,” he groaned while leaning back and putting his hand over his face. “Time to see if I grow grey hair before I’m 70.” He leaned up and looked at the screen once more seeing where she was headed. “Why in the word of Aphelia is she headed to a storage facility? Doesn’t she know that’s where…oh you must be kidding me! No, wait, this is Fire. Why in the world am I shocked?”

Tool had been working on making up a pair of robotic kittens that could respond to voice with what they had. It was hard because the speaker parts he had weren’t the top best but they worked, to a point. It was something new he wanted to try and was happy to try and make it a reality with Cyrus helping him out. He was interested in what Cyrus knew about electronics and was happy to share his own knowledge so they could learn from the other. “Aren’t you glad for the trackers? We aren’t gonna lose track of her this time.” He commented while tightening a screw then adjusting a small spring in the leg joints.

“I’m glad but at the same time it’s just as stressful. She’s too reckless!” Leaf exclaimed before leaning back in the chair roughly with a groan. “I swear she’s going to give me a heart attack before I’m old enough to be getting one.”

“I’m sure she’ll behave herself…eventually.” Tool said and showed his work to Cyrus. “What do you think? Should we try it again and see if it’ll answer?” he asked as he had been trying programming like Leaf could do to a degree. He tried to program it to respond to the words “come” “stay” “speak” “good morning” and “goodnight”.

Silver had been doing alright during this time but he had noticed more of a loss in use of his arm. He still could use it though and used the pain killers as needed for the pain from the stiffness and the way he would need to force it to work. The tattoos were still fading in an odd way which concerned him but they seemed to had slowed down in their fading since he gave the power of the rebellion to Leaf and Hunter.

He had contact with Lady Tigress and Lady Snake, seemed Snake had told Tigress and the others about the little ‘criminal’ as well. He assured Snake he hadn’t seen any sign of Viola anywhere but was having his soldiers on guard and ready to capture on sight. It took a lot for him to utter those words without choking or struggling to get them out. He didn’t need to raise suspicion about himself yet. So far things had been smooth and he didn’t need them finding out his past before becoming an Owl.

~*~*~*~*~

Lady Snake had let the others know about Viola and was ready for her to be captured. She had even been debating on what Owl to give the little prize to upon capture. She didn’t think Lord Wolf would do anything since he was housing the pet of Lady Tigress. She also didn’t think Lord Raven would do anything fast enough which left her with her only female member in this group of 3 guys.

She stood and made her way down to the lower floors and into a room. She hit the switch and turned on the bright lights. A young male hissed, hiding his face under a dark hood from the sudden light burst as he had been using a simple table lamp for sight during his private work. “Glor, I need you to do me a favor.” She purred.

The male looked up and over to her with a glare with his purple colored eyes that seemed to shimmer with moving fragments of blue ice. “What do you want, m’lady?” he questioned in a raspy voice.

“I need you to make me something to capture a magic user. I want it to be able to capture without killing.”

“You grow impatient for Lord Silver’s men to act?” she nodded to his question. “I might be able to come up with a nullifier concoction…” he said looking to his desk that was neatly tidy with papers in their place and things pinned up on a board as well as notes neatly on a white board. “How soon do you need it?”

“As soon as you can create it so I can send the guards in Delta a special gift.” She purred with a small hiss.

He looked to her then to his neat table and the many viles he had on a rack with a beaker. “…I can start working on it and be done in a day or two I think or less.”

She patted his head. “That’s my little Glor.” She praised before backing up. “Don’t fail me. You know what happens if you do.” He nodded and she left him. He took a breath and began to make notes, writing down his plan first then went to work in mixing up the thing that would be set into darts that could fit inside their standard guns with auto injectors.

Lord Raven during this had been concerned over the news about Lady Tigress’s obsession over Tala. He was troubled by her strong interest in a magic user that could use such magic. He didn’t want to think she would betray them but what else could he think? He was worried and debated how to get intel on her movements. He also began wondering if she might be working with Lord Wolf or even Lady Snake to accomplish her goal.

He had been giving Dante and his team surveillance work to ensure the citadel was secure and safe. He also was having them keep an eye on his own soldiers from time to time. He also had been playing with the thought of sending one of them on an undercover mission to give him intel on Lady Tigress but that would be extremely dangerous and could cost the person their life. He didn’t want to send someone in to be slaughtered like a planned sacrifice.

He wasn’t sure how else to get someone on the inside than that but he was considering every single angle possible before making a choice on it. He wanted to feel 100% sure he wasn’t making a mistaken choice. He even had thrown the idea out to Dante to discuss with his team so he could get their input on how it should be handled. Raven did voice his worry the Owls might soon turn on the other and he wanted to ensure his citadel and people were secured and safe. He didn’t want them being hurt by someone unneededly.

He was torn between what to do. Lord Wolf he’d spoken to also had voiced concern over Lady Tigress and his worry she might of teamed up with Lady Snake since Snake had been quiet as well, aside from warning him about watching out for Viola for her. “What in the world is Lady Tigress planning with that boy Lord Wolf has taken in as his own?” he asked softly as he leaned forwards on his knees with his elbows, his hands folded and his lower face rested in his hands. A scarf was around his neck from the winter chill with snow on the ground and he pondered, breathing out with his breath being seeable in the air as a white cloud in the quiet.
