Having retaken her seat after the ordeal, October let out a sigh. Izromos had intent to kill. She knew he did. If there was one thing she knew so well about the Mervid race it was that they were excellent killers. Violence was rare to them, but when it happened it was dangerous. An insult to one could mean the death of that person, so be it if the Mervid male insulted chose to take it that far. Pulling down her hood, she gave a small wave to Cosmo who rolled off. Then, she turned to the other two girls and gave a weak smile.
"Please excuse me for being terribly rude, I feel that this... Ordeal has drained me a bit," she said as she reached for a roll that had somehow not gotten food on it and stood up. Curtsying to the ladies, she gave a small smile to the two. "I bid you both a fair night," she said in adieu and then turned to head back to her dorm.

She remained quiet, undisturbed by his appearance, but not really paying attention to what he was saying. It was the same shpeel every year, and even with the trouble caused by the other students, she was not very interested in what was going on anymore.
She waved goodbye to Cosmo, hoping she would have a class or two with the little odd prince before turning her attention back to October. "It's quite alright. If you want to catch up later, maybe, I'm in room 108!" The poor princess looked exhausted, and the blonde haired teen hoped she'd be alright. Turning her attention to Aurelie, who was the only one left at the table with her, she inquired about her classes. "I'm going to head back to my room to change in a bit, but I'm curious to see if we have any classes together. Do any of ours match?" She asked, slipping a small piece of paper towards her.
The paper read: "1st Hour: Fighting, 2nd Hour: Literature, 3rd Hour: Laws and Ethics, 4th Hour: Riding"

"Well, that escalated quickly," Aurelie muttered as she nodded goodbye to the tiny prince and the timid princess who had turned into a fierce seal when she ordered her friend to stand down. Perhaps Aurelie ought to bring her swords with her from now on whenever she wanted a meal...It was too bad that she could not get a better look at the headless headmaster though, but it may have been for the better. Everyone looked exhausted or drenched in food so dismissing the students were the logical course of action. "Hm, I'm a first year though..." she hummed as she read Levy's schedule. "I have riding during the 4th hour as well!" It was actually one of the classes she was looking forward to as her people rarely needed any rides or mounts seeing as they usually traveled by means of magic. "Oh, not fair! You get to see me out of my element."
She got up and gave a quick bow to Levy, before nabbing a few vegetarian wrap that were near her to follow October's example. "If you will excuse me, I can't wait to get out of these clothes," she explained, pointing at the rather skimpy outfit she was wearing. Spellweavers were highly resistant to cold temperature so their traditional outfits were never focused on warmth. Their limited resources had also encouraged them to not waste fabric on unneeded things, thus, resulting in uncomfortable linkage of intricate trinkets made of metal, something their land did not lack." I'm in room #104, it's just a bit further down the hall."

Not a bad start to the school year. "It'll be fun. I look forward to seeing you later. Goodbye for now," She said to the other princess as she departed. Seeing as how there was no one really left here for her to talk to, the blonde decided to return to her room and change out of her formal clothing. Levy walked out of the Dining Hall and towards the Residence Hall, whistling to herself.

Now that Levy had left the Dining Hall, Aurelie felt much more comfortable scavenger a few plates of food to take to her room. She made a mental note to return the plate to the kitchen, but for now, she was starving and quickly exited the room.

Maeza and the rest of the cleanup crew had done a good job: the place was spotless. He picked up some sort of sweetroll and munched it like an apple, sitting back at his usual corner and watching the door. Should you shake my ash to the wind, forget all of my sins

Maeza walked into the dining hall with the evidence of the food fight still all over her and it was evident that she'd cleaned all night. But she had a smile on her face and she held her head high. When she saw Tom, though, her smile faltered a bit. She'd mostly worked out her anger while cleaning, but still...Maeza grabbed an apple and considered going to her room, but this was a perfect opportunity to maybe have a peaceful conversation with the Shadowlurker. So the Night Fairy slowly fluttered over, taking the seat across from him. "Sleep well? she joked, hoping it would go over well enough.

"Look. I don't care what you do..." That was a lie, straight up. "...but I really just would appreciate it if you cared enough about me not to hang around with him." He wasn't about to say anything in his roommate's defense or favor. "If you have to, don't speak to me, but don't bother with him either."That wasn't fair to her either, and he knew it just as well. But what was he to do? Admit defeat in a world where all else was slipping out of his control? Pretend he no longer cared? The red was gone now, replaced with that bitter, unnameable color that was halfway between silence and tears. He paused, staring at the table. "I don't, I don't want to lose you," he said finally. Maeza sighed internally. Well, what had she really expected? She waited for him to finish and didn't say anything for a few moments. Finally, she sighed out loud and put her apple down. "Tom...this isn't easy for me either. And, to be honest, you're only making this worse for me," she said calmly. If he could just understand how she felt...Without thinking about it, Maeza reached over and gently cupped Tom's cheek with her small, cold hand. "I am trying not to dwell on this too much because I know it will only make me upset and bitter and I may explode, like I did last night. I don't want to be that person. And when you say I can't speak to Kenton because you're afraid of 'losing me', you're telling me that you want me to be miserable. You're engaged Tom, whether we like it or not. We can not be together and I'm sorry. I need you to let me go, Tom. I'll always be with you. You will never 'lose' me to someone, but I need you to be prepared for me to be with someone else, be it Kenton or anyone else. If you care enough about me then you will let me live my life with whomever I choose. Please." Her voice and eyes were pleading, silently begging him to listen.

The red came back and mixed with the tears, diluting its hue and changing it to another he could not name. "What is he, to you? Another toy you can drop when he gets married off too? What will you do when he never looks at you the same way, when he goes off to war and gets stabbed through the heart, when he leaves?"He shook his head. "No, Mae, I am the one you listened to in the silence of midnight, whose thoughts whispered into your soul, whose grief you barely guess at when I see you hang around him," he said. "I am the one whose look destroys hope and within whom hope will scarcely even blossom now that I can't come back to the one thing I lived for. I am the one whom no one loves and all living souls curse!"He slammed his hand down on the table and shook his head angrily as he went on, nearly raving as tears fell down his face. Mae closed her eye and looked down. Every word Tom said was a dagger to her gut. Every raw emotion that colored his voice was torture to her mind. "Stop," she whispered. She looked up with her own tears shining in her eyes. "What do you want from me, Tom? Do you want me to say that I loved you? That you're the world to me? Do you want me to go on and on and on about how much it kills me inside that you think I could ever cast you away or replace you? Because I can. I could describe to you what it was like to see you on the bed everyday, not knowing when or if you would ever wake up. I can tell you in detail what I felt the first time you kissed me. And I can tell you how utterly destroyed I felt when you told me you're engaged," she said, voice cracking. She took a shaky breathed and wiped the tears from her face as she stood with him. "And if I could just make you see how much I loathe this conversation, I would. I don't want this to be all we ever talk about. I-I want to talk like we used to, Tom. Songs, stories, anything! We just...we need to spend time together again. I'll be at the lake tonight if you want to talk...I'm going to change into something that doesn't smell like a buffet line." With a small curtsy, Maeza turned and slowly left the room.

With an aggravated sigh, Tom got up and threw it away properly. He kicked the wall, suppressing a scream of rage. Why was everything about how she felt about it?!  ~Prince Cosmo Katamari~The Littlest Prince of the Stars"Gooooooooood mornin', good mornin'... sunbeams will smile through, good mornin'..."Quietly singing his little song, Cosmo bounced into the dining hall early. Carefully wiping his little feet on the mat, he bounced up to the buffet-style tables and immediately seized onto the object of his desire: a blueberry muffin, all to himself. The little prince carried his conquest to the closest table and dug in to the best-tasting breakfast he'd had since leaving school last year.

  Haidee sashayed into the hall, relatively rested and wearing a satchel on her shoulder for her school supplies. The hall was empty, except for a misplaced muffin and a wide array of breakfast foods laid out. She was in no mood to socialize with a humming muffin, and instead picked out a few pieces of fruit to eat at a table in the center of the room. Haidee said down, humming her own tune and awaiting the morning bell.

 The soldier above all others prays for peace... For the first time in a long time, Kenton had had to drag himself out of bed. The previous night had taken a bit of a toll on him... but that was nothing a short nap around lunch wouldn't fix. He checked his schedule again as he walked into the hall, eager for a plate full of stationary food. He tried to remember which were the more delicate, light foods and picked out some breads and cold cuts. The rich food of the royals was simply not to his taste. He sat apart from the other breakfasters, mulling over what he had to do today. Perhaps if he ate his lunch quickly, he could get some training time in before the day's second class... ...for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.
