Somehow Sheridan did not find the professor's words especially reassuring. Maybe he'd knocked out one plant without -too- much trouble, but 'Steve' had seemed quite interested in eating them all.

His tail twitched, making certain to stay behind the professor as he followed toward the massive plant. Eyes narrowed, gazing up at the plant, he would have to hope that the professor's plan would work.

'Professor, what--"

It was not until 'Steve' had eaten both apples that Sheridan realized he'd been holding his breath. For a moment his heart had skipped a beat, expecting the plant to refuse and then proceed to try devouring them all.

But there was no sigh of relief as Sheridan took several steps away from the plant all to happy to seize on the invitation to return to the classroom and out of this suffocatingly hot room filled with completely insane carnivorous plants.

Back in the classroom, the dragon took a deep breath before nearly flopping into the seat at his desk. Whew...

After some scraping and such white chalk littered the small black board. In large flowing script it could be easily read from anywhere in the room.

Tonight's homework
You will need to turn in a story, folk lore, or myth about Herbs or plants that is at least 2 paragraphs long, that doesn't mean it can only be 2 paragraphs it can be longer if you like, 2 paragraphs consists of 4 sentences per paragraph so 8 sentences all together will count.. You can contact your parents, friends or relatives and any other means of resources at your disposal. It will be necessarily for next class.
