"It's actually not perfected quite yet. It is very magic inefficient, but the speed it allows me to move at is imperceivable. I can also use the feathers from the wings as arrows too, so I can launch an aerial assault on enemies really well." Firomis began to walk towards the center of the ballroom. Rydia followed right behind him, hoping he was going to show the technique off.

"Is there something wrong Kristin?" he looked at her. He kneeled down in front of Rydia and looked at her. "Normally I would show you the technique, but I can't today." he patted her head lightly. "Even though you've healed me physically, my magic isn't flowing very well right now and I'm afraid if I used a technique of that magnitude, it might cause my flow of magic to go berserk and become out of control." Firomis stood back up and walked over to a chalk board that Davius had just brought in. "Are these readings accurate?" he asked Davius after reading a bunch of names and numbers on the board. Davius nodded, "Yes, they are very accurate. But I am very concerned about the recent additions of these two." Davius said as he pointed to two names, 'Estellise Farris and Deckard Lightfall. "If these readings really are accurate, it would make them seem as powerful, if not more powerful, than Kaneas, Toren, and Maximus." Firomis' eyes opened widely. "But the power readings of those two were only recently recorded... this is... It makes me wonder if they are on our side, and it makes me fear for what could happen if they joined Toren."

Davius looked at Kristin for a moment before he turned to the board. "This is a listing of some of the more well known Martial Sorcerers and Sorcerers in the world. So in a way it would be accurate to say that this is a list of the strongest people in the world. However, this is only a list of those who have been seen emitting strong power and had their power recorded by someone who was on patrol looking to record such a power. Estellise Farris and Deckard Lightfall were only recently spotted not even a week ago. After doing a bit of research, it seems as though Deckard was trained by Kaneas himself, and that Deckard is the son of Terrus Lightfall. You might have heard of Terrus Lightfall and Maximus Farien before. The two of them were renowned heroes about 24 years ago. Maximus Farien betrayed Terrus one day and killed him, even though Terrus was much more powerful. Shortly after, Maximus disappeared and he has been seen very few times between then and now, presumably because he is avoiding the bounty hunters who are after his head for treason." Davius paused for a moment and looked back at Kristin.

"As you might already know, the amount of magic a person can use is measure in units called 'void liters'. We call them void liters because the body of a magic user has a sort of 'void' like container within their body. This container is thought to be able to hold an endless amount of energy and capacity. Back when Terrus was still alive, he created a tool for measuring the VL that magic users have and it is still used today but it has been improved on. These numbers are the VL readings from all the people on the list according to the most recent sightings."

( I had to improvise on the custom RP characters, if you have a big complaint, message me and I might work something out with you. I will also post a FAQ on Void Liters later tonight. Just be aware that since all of the Magistrates and many of the characters I'm using to RP with will be in the story, they must be set to a VL higher than original characters, unless the OC is actually entered into the storyline. )

"This list is very short, and we don't have a clue on who Fenix has under his control. So we're not certain it is even truly accurate if he has anyone that is powerful enough to stand against us."

"Compared to Rydia, we all need more training." Firomis laughed a bit. Rydia, who was sitting down on the floor eating a piece of cake still, looked over at them. "Nyah?" she said in a cute voice. Rydia adored cats, and when someone said her name while she wasn't paying attention she would answer like that. "What are you guys talking about over there? I heard my name." she smiled widely. "Unfortunately, she has no will to fight and thus she is not a person to be feared." Firomis looked over at Rydia with a grin.

"Hrhm..." Rydia said while thinking and made a cat face. ( :3 ) "Because! Rydia hates hurting people! I can't stop others from fighting, but I won't resort to it myself!" she jumped up quickly to her feet. "I only use my magic because I like making lights and helping people." she said as her body began to glow. A short moment later she held out her hand and a orb of light was manifested. The orb went up into the air above her and broke apart into several smaller orbs, which then exploded like fireworks, creating several different glowing images of kittens in the air. "See? It's pretty!"

Rydia slowly walked over to the rest of the group. "Oh! That stupid chart again!" she made a face as if she was disgusted by it, but it looked cute still because it was her. Firomis patted her on the head again. "Don't worry Rydia, we won't make you hurt anyone." Rydia looked up at him with a smile. "Good. Is there anymore sweets in the kitchen, Davius?" she looked over at Davius with a big grin.

( Updated VL numbers to make it easier to work with on my end, and more realistic. The lower number Magistrates aren't very powerful, so any OC will likely be stronger than them unless it is said in the OC bio. )

"Of course there is. Why don't you and Kristin go into the kitchen and help yourself to some of the brownies and cookies that the cooks made not too long ago." he smiled. At that, Rydia jumped up in joy and ran out of the ballroom and into the kitchen.

"Kristin?" Rydia called from around the corner. She was running and ended up bumping into Kristin and knocking them both down onto the ground.
