"Eh I'm good. Brain just has to rattle and roll around in my head some before I'm fully up and what not. Hope you didn't mind be crashing here, let alone in your bed. I mean...sleeping in the same place with me isnt' exactly a safe things to do..." That metal was razor sharp in some places after all.

But a little shrug from him and a shake of his head as if to wake himself up at last. Look at that, looked chipper as ever and was bright eyed and bushy tailed. How cute.

He blinked...wait...that sentence didn't come out right at all. Great, now he had pinned himself as some sexual deviant that preys on women who fell asleep in his company. Who knew how many ways she took that statement. So he sought to recover himself as subtly as possible.

"Yeah well you know...sharp metal pointy things. They tend to kind of move at night sometimes too...wouldn't want to have you all cut up..." Wait, was he now pinning himself as some sadist psycho or something...maybe he should jsut stop while ahead.

"Er...um...yeah. Yeah it was, and thanks. So then, off to work are you?"

"Well...have fun then. Me? I'll do what I usually do when I don't have appointments or anything. Occupy space, take up oxygen, and partake of various forms of sustenance. I don't have a job here, I'm merely the guinea pig."

It was simple as that really. He really was just a pet of Meta, all in all. They're put him through a test or two or they'd come up with some upgrade to his MATU system and what not. "Oh look at me, keeping you here. Sorry."

Rennell blinked and looked at the bed. Then promptly went about making it, had nice neat hospital corners. Proof that he spent way too much time in hospitals when he was younger. He really didn't mind doing it for her...after all he helped mess it up and it occupied him for a bit.

With that done he stepped out, making sure the door locked and headed on back to Ingenuity. First for a change of clothes, then to see if there was something he could do for anyone to keep himself occupied.

She turned her attention from James a moment to a frantic Lillia...who just got blinked at. Now what was she going on about? Took her a moment to decifer what the girl was saying before she clicked. "You mean you're locked out of the systems?"

One of those aloof looks. "I must have sceheduled Erik to flip over my new set of coding yesterday. Or this morning, I don't know. Well I remembered...but yeah you wouldn't...sorry about that my fault. I randomly have Erik switch coding to keep my security on it's toes so to speak."

A tap of a finger at her chin. "I'm going to have to get you a list. But you'll need to memerize it, though I doubt you'll have any trouble there at all." A little laugh before she settled. "So then, you can calm down and make small talk. How was your night?"

"You slept with Ren?" In the world and language of women, there were two kinds of sleeping. Rest sleep and then sex. Which made Jelena wonder a moment but come to her own conclusions. Women had a sixth sense about when a fellow female had bedded a man. Jelena wasn't getting that vibe. Besides...she didn't pin the sunshine crew as the type to get drunk and sleep together or recklessly just sleep together.

So a slight shake of her head before shifting her weight to one foot. "My night was fabulous. Had a nice sleep for what sleep I got. Had an awesome breakfast to boot. But back to work eh? I could of sworn I told Erik to tell you I was going to change those things. Anyway, what's your agenda today?"

Lillia did possess the degrees that made her acceptable for the back lab access and works. Jelena had half a mind to start training the girl but hse didn't want to put her in over her head too soon.

She mentally calculated the amount of work that James had saved her with Jelly's birthday present and it was an overwhelming amount. Before everything had to be done manually, now a lot of the filing could be done a lot easier and would free up her time to learn things.

"Sounds great to me. I've been wanting to dabble in the actually engineering and genetic aspects of the job. After all, I have the proper degree, but I knew better than to ask straight off." She knew all about the system and the 'ladder.' You didn't just start out at the top, you had to prove yourself and work your way up. It was the one thing she'd really worked for, not jsut been given because of her name and that made it all the sweeter.

Though a glance at James. "You're back to implying my parents, aren't you?" Another shake of her head. "I know who did it James. The parts in my computer are a moot point. DJ had access to my laptop, which has all my access codes to the FLeet site as well as my personal ID number and passcode. It was child's play for him to get on, backdoor his way into some specialized places and download all the information he needed, with me none the wiser." She sighed softly, "He probably did it while I was sleeping. Woke up...maybe he even set his alarm but I know that's how he got it. And you ought to be careful about those implications you're making. I'm not trying to threaten you buy my parents are powerful people adn my mother especially holds the Nickko name in high esteem. Don't mess with her James, you won't win."

How well she knew that. Anyone who messed with her father or mother ended up the worse off and she didn't want to see that happen to someone like James who wasn't out for personal gain. She knew her mother, knew the thought processes that ran through her mind, because at one time Lillia had the same thoughts. No expense was spared when it came to the Nickko name, no opportunity for even a whisper of a rumor that might damage it's long standing reputation. It was treated almost like a show dog would be, groomed carefully and well protected. And her mother would swallow one of her own medical concoctions before she let anything sully it, that Lillia was positive about.

Jelena gave a light sigh, scratching at her hair a moment. They would go back and forth on that subject all day wouldn't she. "Well first things first. James when you're pulling work here you leave Lilia alone about this whole computer thing. When you're here you're Echol. You can play security when you're not pulling hours here. No meshing things that can upset somebody else, saves everyone the trouble."

And then she crossed her arms, tapping a foot lightly. "And no, you can't. You get to be like everyone else here and learn the old fashioned hands on way. Another division from robotics James, we can't rely on set procedures and what not here, things are always changing."

Then she got that particular little evil look and laid a hand to James' arm and Lilia's shoulder. "And guess who gets to be lab learning partners?"
