I can't take this alpha's attitude anymore. I dash over and get in between the alpha and Willow in a protective stance while remaining weaponless. "Back off." I say quietly and glare at him with my mismatched eyes. I can feel electricity coursing through me and faintly across my skin in my anger. "You may be alpha of this pack, but that doesn't mean you have the right to treat us how you please. We are your guests, not your pack. So treat as such." I flick my eyes to the others in the pack in warning before settling my gaze on the alpha again. "I do not wish to resort to violence, but I will if I must. I will NOT tolerate you harming anyone in our group, ESPECIALLY if the only reason for you to do so is to restore your apparently fragile pride. It's not entirely Willow's fault she is the way she is, and I've noticed her trying to change. She never laid a hand on you and you somehow got it into your head that you had the right to lay a hand on her. I'd say she should get to lay a hand on you to balance things out, but I'm trying to keep things peaceful here. If you have ANY honor you will back off and forgive our ill-mannered comrade."

"Guys... this isn't a battle you can win, just leave them be so we don't have to die!" I say to Willow and Nyx. Under normal circumstance, I don't abide with bullying of power, but Willow's challenge of the leader of a pack of anthro wolves is tantamount to a suicide mission. Damn it, going to have to do the questionably right thing to do, although I'm not going to let her forget this. "This woman is as much of a traitor to us as she is an insult to you. We have both been wronged by her, and yet we both cannot have her. Would you be willing to do a battle of honorable combat for her custody?" I say to the alpha. I prayed that I wasn't signing my death warrent, but maybe I could use my complete bullshit to help someone else besides myself for a change.

Layla: The alpha nods, still leaning his weight on Willow's back, pinning her to the ground. The omega begins to walk westward.
Sand-Claw: The omega begins to walk westward.
Apollo: The omega smiles a wolfish smile. "This way, sir," he says quietly. He begins to walk westward.
Willow: The alpha leans even more of his weight onto you, making it hard to breathe. "I'll put my balls wherever I damn well please, you insolent b***h!" he barks menacingly. "So why don't you just spill this information and I'll THINK about letting you go."
Everyone: As soon as Nyx jumps to Willow's aid, the omegas all stop to watch with frightened looks.
Nyx: He's on top of her, so I'll just assume you're next to them. {WIS 13: 3} Without really thinking about it, the electricity becomes heavier across your skin, making it so that any physical attack will be instantly retaliated with a shock. {CHA 10:14} "Really now?" the alpha growls. "Why don't you MAKE me? You want me to treat you as guests, then move along. I'll send this one after you when I'm done with her."
Willow: So you know, Nyx was the one defending you. Not sure if it was a mistake that you said Layla's name instead, so I'm just pointing it out.
Layla: "Is that REALLY such a good idea?" Lyriana asks. "She just insulted an anthro wolf, Layla. If I were you, I'd grab Nyx and take the free passage through this area while we still can!" "Aye, nary a scratch wha' can laid upon a wolf," Lud says. "I seen it with me own two eyes: fast an' strong, nae easily defea'ed." {CHA 17: 19} The alpha looks you over. "I have no desire to give into such a request," the alpha snarls. "You want her back, you'll have her back. Once I'm done with her. Unless you'd like to take her place? Or trade her for this tora-mimi who thinks she can tell me what to do in my own territory?"

I had begun following the omega casually, but I stopped when he did to turn back and also watch the scene. I continue to simply watch silently because whatever was going to happen at this point, I didn't want to be a part of it.

Whilst everyone spoke, Willow was using as much of her energy as she could to manipulate the water from her water bottle up the side of the man towards his head, hopefully unnoticed. She didn't understand, but she felt....Something, something new, sorrow? Was she sorry for what she had goten them into? 'Oh hell no, am I really getting that soft? How insufferable'

"Let me put this a different way. Our quest is to defeat the Red Army before they raze both of our homes alike and lay waste to the world. Our quest will end up helping you as much as it helps anyone else. If it really matters to you so much, let those two go and I'll endure what comes next to see my goals through" I say in a much more serious tone. upon finishing my statement, I touch my hand to the holy symbol around my neck. Heavens protect me, I have no idea what I've just done... At least my healing and protection magics give me a better shot then Willow or Nyx... Not to mention I don't have a barbed tongue to give them more motivation to hurt me.

Apollo: "Er...is the tora-mimi usually so brash?" the omega asks, leaning in close to whisper it.
Willow: {WIS 13: 7} The alpha fails to notice your water snaking up his body. But it is pretty hard to breathe, with him leaning so much of his weight onto your back...
Layla: {Layla CHA 17: 16} {Alpha INT 13: 1} The moment you say the words "Red Army," his pointed ears perk up. He growls. "The Red Army must fall!" he roars, thrusting a fist into the air. He removes his thick, heavy paw from Willow's back and takes a couple steps back from her.
Willow: Two skinny omega wolves come over and offer you a hand up.
Everyone: "She is yours," he says, his voice now calm and steady. "Your militia of ten will need aid to combat such an enormous threat. For this, I offer you the service of my pack, male and female alike. We are nomads, but we return to this area once a year to honor those who came before. Let us honor our ancestors, and we shall join you. Or if you wish, I will offer you my best warriors to travel with you, on the condition that they either return alive, or we receive tell of their passing as soon as possible. What say you?"

I step back half a step, rather surprised, though I try not to let it reflect in my composure. "Well! I would be honored to have your assistance! You know how to command your people better than I, so I shall let you choose their fate." I say. Wow, that just came out of nowhere, looks like the divines look after me yet...

Sand-Claw: You find that the omega is no longer leading you. Due to your failure to notice this, you send him crashing to the ground. This does not faze you due to your bulk.
Layla: The alpha looks to the sky. "It is about two hours to midday," he says. "We will be done with our honors by then. Wait for us here. If that is acceptable?"
Nyx: "Excuse me, but—" An omega tries to grab your shoulder, but receives a shock from the electricity before it dissipates. He hangs on for a second before managing to let go. He falls flat on his a**, his fur poofing out with static. It also seems to hit some nerves to get some...arousal...going down there. Certainly not the most polite display, but the poofy fur is pretty funny!

I'm startled when one of the wolves touches my shoulder and can just barely hold back from doubling over in laughter when he falls flat on his a** and poofs out like a poodle. "Sorry about that." I offer my hand to help him up.

Willow had just managed to get herself into a seated position as she relearnt how to breath. Her mind was spinning, had this all really happened, had these people really...Defended her? Catching most of the conversation she took the two hands and rose to her feet, her gracefullness returning but her breath not so much "Well then it seems I wont have to kill you after all, that is quite a nice little turn out indeed" she showed the alpha what she ment by moving the water from around his neck in a way that he would see it and putting it back into her bottle. "Umm....Layla...Nyx....Could I...Have a word with you both...Please?"
