"My hotel room has two beds. You can have one, and Starfire and I will take the other." She replied.

"That would be helpful, thank you." She replied.

"I just have to check with Starfire, to make sure it's all right." She informed him.

At about that time, Danny's phone rang. He looked a bit puzzled for a second, then looked down at his cell phone. "I'd better take this." he mumbled out loud. "I'll wait outside by the bike." he said as he looked up and flashed a smile at the two girls.
With that he started towards the door and flipped open his phone, soon dissapearing outside.

Crystal hopped around a bit before settling down on the police station for a wile. She walked around the roof, sniffing around, not for anything in particular but just to see who had been around recently. She hadn't been in Gotham for a wile so she needed to take in the scents anyway.

After she was done she parked her behind on the top of the door that led to the roof and looked up at the night sky.

Star responded, ""That is alright me. As soon as we are ready, let's go." The redhead thumbed in a direction, "Raven, is it that way?"

When Nightshade noticed that the woman with cat-like grace stop near police headquarters, Hmmm... Maybe just chance then.

The dark clad crimefighter continued to follow the huge green man with the little girl.

Vice paused and looked at the woman a moment, as if trying to think about how he was going to answer her. ”It doesn’t matter, alright?” he finally said. ”Can you set up one of your shops, or not?”

Edel paused and stared at him with a sudden and almost unnecessary intensity for a moment. Then, let out an exasperated sigh and very nearly rolled her eyes. ”If you needed me to find someone, why didn’t you just say so?”

Vice sighed himself. ”Because, frankly, Goss would skin me alive if she found out I asked you for help.”

”And you asking if I could make my shop wasn’t asking for help?” she asked with an arched brow.

”Not really, I was planning on borrowing some magical stuff and reading the how-to manual on my way out.” he replied.

”Children…” she mumbled to herself with another small sigh.

”Look, time is kind of important right now. So if we could get to the magic now, and the ‘in my day’ lecture thing later, it would be appreciated.”

”And just what makes you think I’d be so willing to fix the problems that you all get yourselves into?” she asked as she crossed her arms.

”One…” Vice began, raising one hand so he could start counting the reasons off by finger. ”I’m assuming you eventually were going to set up shop again, so why not now. Two, a little five year old girl’s life is quite possibly in danger. Three, I know kids are your weakness. Four, she’s technically your granddaughter. Five, other than giving birth to her, which she resents greatly, what have you ever done for-”

”Alright, stop right there.” Edel said, cutting him off with a slim finger raised in front of her face. ”Don’t. Tell me I’ve done nothing for my children. I’m the one who helped introduce her to magic because I could sense she had the gift for it before she ever dabbled in it. I made sure you were all able to stay together for quite sometime after she was reborn. I-”

”You also helped make some nasty little corpses disappear after your “favorite” turned them into puzzle pieces. Alright, fine. So a FEW of your fifty or so kids, frankly I don’t keep count, you do things for.” Vice said, cutting her off this time. ”So do you want a little mother of the year trophy, or do you want to help as you claim you do? You read my mind, so I’m assuming you already know. But I’ll say it for the record. Janet’s supposed love interest has her child and has reason to harm the girl, just to hurt Janie. As tough as she tries to be, you know it’s going to crush her if she goes through a sequel.”

Edel looked at him for a moment, opened her mouth like she was going to lecture him, then closed it. After a second or two, she let out another sigh and rubbed the side of her head. ”Well, I was wanting to get my mind off of other things. I’ll set up my little shop, AND find Rosie. If she’s in trouble, I might even help get her. If she’s not in any harm, you can go back and let her mother know that she can breathe easy.”

Vice smiled a bit, looking a great deal less anxious than he had been. ”Fine with me.” he replied.

”Very well then. Just think about where…Gossamer….had her old apartment and I’ll take us there. Since it already has some bit of magic flowing through it, it should do as a place to set up my shop.”

”Still over in New York as far as I know. And before I forget to say it, thank you.”

Edel grinned slightly. ”Wouldn’t want to give anyone the impression I’m a terrible mother.”
