"It would at least make for a nice greeting card I'm sure." A little shrug from him as he swirled the water and what was left of melting ice in his glace before downing it. Most had cleared out the place by now. "Right...and we're all born whiners now aren't we? Oh well...sometimes have to be a certain way no matter how much we would like them different. Then again, that's life."


She woke up in the morning as she usually did to anyone's prodding...rolling over slightly and burying her head under the pillow with a little noise of distaste to being woken up at all. Hey she liked her sleep, it was nice. But of course the smell of food was a good enough compensation payment for making her wake up, and James' cooking was always good.

"Morning...yeah, I did. Though we both know why." A little smile smirk, taking her plate and digging into food without a single thought to it. Sometimes coffee and a donut just didn't cut it. Though she propped pillows and leaned back as she ate...back hurt. Then again it always did late in the year like this...corressponded to other events. Eh, she'd take care of it later. "You get up way too early do you know that? I'm going to sefate you one day..."

"Sometimes whinging is fun." A little laugh from the guy to follow that up before he scratched at that shaggy red hair of his. "Yeah that's looking like a good idea. Clear out before we're thrown out." A twitchy blink and a moment to consider from him. "Sure why not, I'm sure we can keep each other out of trouble."

And he got up and all to dramatically bowed to her and offered his arm. Rennell being his over extravagant self. "May I escort the lady to her room?"

Lillia twisted in her sleep and came up against a warm body, lying perilously close to hers. The fact that it was the early hours of the morning and she wasn't quite with it, she wasn't sure who it was and her heartbeat accelerated and her adrenaline began to rise. Then she caught sight of the shock of red hair as well as those strange wings on his back.

Her breathing slowed and she sighed in relief. Rennell. Memories of the night before came rushing back and she remembered talking and giggling with him unitl they'd both eventually passed out on her bed, he on his stomach and she in her normal style. She didn't want to disturb him, he needed his sleep so she sat up adn ran a hand through her blond hair then carefully made her way over him and got out of bed without disturbing him.

A moment later she was in the shower happily washing her hair and cleaning up to prepare for the day ahead.

The first sounds of his waking came in the almost inaudible sounds of teh gears in his wings spinning to life, making the metal appendages flex and splay of thier own accord before giving control over to Rennell in his wakings.

He yawned, lifting his face from the pillow and pushed up on his arms, rubbing a hand at his eyes. The one mechanical eye took to instantly booting up, displaying vision if the form of a green wash over and accompanying sound waves from the directions that they came from anyway.

Sitting up he looked around a moment. Where was he? Oh yeah, Lil's room and from the sound of it, she was in the shower. Hm, how come her bed was better than his own?


"Doesn't matter, means it can still be done. And I put down bigger things than you all the time." Reaching to her wrist mounted mini computer, which was on the bedside table, she booted it up and went about checking some things. "God look at the time...I have things to do today...final preperations for that cewrcerus of yours, not to mention I have to go update my logs on you and get your secuirty things."

Like any smart girl who knew seh wouldn't be goign back to her room that night, she had stopped by her own and grabbed a change of clothes. So slipping out of bed and grabbing her little overnight bag she hit the bathroom for a quick shower and a change of clothes.

Fiftten minutes later she was back out, running a hand through slightly damp hair with her bag over her shoulder. Grabbing her boot she pulled them on then smoothed her clothes some, picking up her OODDS and setting them in her hair. "Alrighty then. No time like the present."

She rolled her eyes. "Joy, I'm dating the closet pervert." A laugh to follow that up...James and his cameras...half the time she thought he had an overly paranoid streak to him that topped everyone else on fleet. But she tried to not pay it toomuch mind. "Come on then."

And she made her way out of his room and down the halls till they hit a transporter across to Envision. A stop by her room to drop off her stuff from yesterday and they were on thier way to the labs. It was quiet in the labs today but that was normal for the time of day. Echo was one of the later starting projects seeing as they ran on the echoes' schedule, not the techs.

"You're allowed to see, in fact if my time tables in my head are correct to what I set that little bugger to, we should be brining her out of stasis soone to continue in her growth processes naturally. Go on, you may squeal like a school girl, I won't tell anyone." Oh she knew that made his ecstatic inside.

But first things first, a PAID swipe and a code into the security office of the project and a hand held out to James. "Give me your PAID tag so I can upgrade it." Simple process, just required her verification and an add on of some coding. Other hand was busiily calling up various screen by codes that seemed to be formulated by a mad person.
