Lillia wasn't moping...she wasn't honest. She was thinking creatively and trying to keep herself on one track. And while her thinking was straight, her steps weren't, she had a tendency to wander.
Eventually she wandered back to her room and changed into jeans and a tank top, as well as tennis shoes, equipped with the required gravity simulators. The space station on Earth had had every kind of shoe she could ever have imagined wiht gravity in them, her one stop for all her gravity needs. And it had been indeed.
Pulling a light jacket on just in case she started to wander once again until her feet finally took her to the bar she'd been at with her coworkers earlier. She plopped in a seat and ordered a bottle of mineral water. She didn't need alcohol right now, not a good thing with the way she was feeling. Most of the guys from Meta had cleared out but there was one or two stragglers. Right now though, she was too lost in thought to notice.

Ren had a twitchy blink thing going on as he walked back down the halls. Ugh that always happened when someone messed with his eye. Of course his back was a little sore as well his poor MATU had been put through it's normal tests and movements...and it really was a bit stressing and irritable thing.
So then back to the bar...Rennell, seemed to have the inability to get drunk. It was hypothesised that it was all the nanos in his blood stream that absorbed the alcohol and just kept him sober. Then again it seemed plausible...he was classed with those that had a nano saturation of seventy five percent and higher. Not too many made it there.
Hello bar indeed. Though his attention was draw to a rather sad looking Lillia. He couldn't help but be drawn...they had similar personalities and he had been lonely lately...didn't really have anyone to kick around with at the moment. Making his way over he shoved his hands in his pockets and stod by her table. "Hey Lil, mind if I join you?"

She glanced up and saw Ren standing there and smiled softly at him. "Not at all. I was just...thinking." She motioned to the chair and studied her water bottle for a moment, pouring the rest of it into her glass.
Running a hand through her blonde hair, she ran a fingertip along the rim of her glass and said, "So how'd your appointment go?"

He took the seat across from her, punching in a few order codes on the table's to the side screen. Eh he'd get soda for right now. Carbonation might do him some good. But he looked back up to her and smiled.
A point at his eye. "Well...I have a nice twitch developed right now from all the prodding. And my back is a little sore. But that's usually the norm...so you know, don't slap me or anythign if you think I'm obscenely winking at you, I swear its an involuntary twitch."
He laughed to follow that up. "So what are you doing here all alone wiht nothing but a bottle of water?"

"I'll keep that in mind. But I wouldn't mind so much if you do wink at me all night." She shook her head and tasted her water. Eww...disgusting. What had she ordered? Mineral water...good going Lillia.
She seriously thought about lying for a moment. But it wouldn't do her any good and he might as well know the truth. Sighing she shoved her drink away and said, "Well, Jelly and James are having a romantic night and I dont' like being a third wheel so I beat it of there. And I dont really have anything else to do...so I thought I'd wander a bit and I ended up here."

A thanks babbled out as two sodas were set on the table. He'd gotten on for Lillia for whatever reason, probably his happy attitude and the fact that she may want somethign with some taste in it. And he ssaw that a good decision at the face she made at her water.
"You know...why is it always us so called 'balls of sunshine' that get put out by everyone else and often end up wandering halls or sitting alone in bars or whatever into the late hours of the nights?" A twitchy blink. "You'd think we'd have a lot more buddies." Then a laugh. "But apprently we're annoying...or at least that's what I'm called."

she noted that two glasses were set down and smiled her thanks at Rennell. Observant one, wasn't he? She picked up the soda and took a sip. "Thanks. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered that water..."
A shake of her head and she laughed, "Well people can only take so much sunshine. Sometimes they want the rain or the fog or the sleet and sometimes the hail. Personally I like being a ball of sunshine, though I've heard that some think I'm an airhead and some just roll their eyes and figure I"m the preppy cheerleader from high school. I hate to correct them, it 's just easier not to."
She tilted her head and her eyes sparkled, "So here we are, two balls of sunshine. Better be careful, we might get thrown out for blinding people."

"Or explode into an awesome supernova that would then collapse into a blackhole and suck everyone in. Then they'd be forced to deal with us as we rule over black hole sunshine dimension land." He had quite the imagination and way with words.
"I get where you're coming from...though you get it easier. I'm often pointed out as either an idiot, possessing the mentality of a five year old, or I'm just gay." A little shrug. "I just like to have fun personally."

She blinked at him for a moment adn then burst out laughing, grateful she'd already taken a drink of her soda and swallowed it. Leave it to Rennell to make her smile when she was feeling so down. "That's rather descriptive." Earth science hadn't been her favorite but she knew exactly what he was talking about.
"I can be the Queen Sunshine and you cna be King and we can rule wiht our sunny smiles and fists of light!" She giggled again shook her head. "You, gay? Never. how could anybody think that?"

He merely got caught in a laugh mid soda drinking...and clamped a hand over his nose and mouth to try and keep from having an embarrasing jounir high lunch table moment. But he managed to swallow without incident. "Sounds fun to me...we should do it. But why be king and queen when we can be God and Goddess. All hail the Sunshine Pantheon! Or be drowned in happy...goo...yeah! Happy sunshine goo!"
Another laugh from him and he ran a hair through bright red hair, taking on a rather suave overdone smile for Lillia while also playing his wings the slightest. "I'm too drop dead gorgeous to be straight?" Another laugh before he let up his posture, sipping at his drink again. "Beats me really...straight guys just aren't so happy and well groomed?"

She giggled right there with him. "The Sunshine Pantheon? I like it. I'd rather be a Goddess than a Queen any day." Shaking her head, she thought about what the world would be like with her and Rennell holding the reins. Good lord help them all.
"That's got to be it!" She snapped her fingers and nodded then sighed, "That's the silliest thing I ever heard. I hate men who are melancholy all the time, be happy abotu something for goodness sake. Sometimes people ask me if I'm in love because I'm happy all the time."

"Cryix! Sit your happy a** down and shut up...you're not the only one in here you know!"
He laughed almost sheepishly, indeed sitting back down...for he had stood for the dramatic effect, and took a sip of his drink. "But that happens..." But a little shrug of his shoudlers. "Yeah well I've heard love is all...giddy and what not. I can see the mistake being made."

She chuckled at him, enjoying her evening more and more and rolled her eyes at the Meta guy who'd yelled at him. "You wouldn't dare! Besides I'd probably have to do the ethical thing and tell on you so it wouldn't do you any good now anyway. If you want to do something like that, don't tell me about it."
Picking her glass up she took another drink adn rolled her eyes, "Love is overrated anyway. You don't get giddy and happy, that's a misconception. You get fearless for a while, think nothing bad could ever happen again, almost like being on a high. And then at the same t ime you're scared to death that something is going to come along and snatch what you've found and then you're not goign to have it anymore." She shook her head, "It's the best and worst feeling in the world."

"Is it now?" A little shurg. "Well I wouldn't know. Though it sounds like a fun experience...probably keep me entertained for a while, what with my head being so screwy and what not." A follow up laugh from him on it as he sucked down his drink. "Ah bar conversation..."

"Yeah but in all fairness I probably wouldn't tell on you if you did. I'm not that mean."
She shook her head, he had no idea. Remembering the feelings she'd cycled through while she had been with DJ made her think of her poor laptop being at the mercy of James. She knew she shouldnt' have left it with him. He'd taken it apart with barely a blink and tossed things around and she'd winced every single time something had been thrown.
"I dont' think it would keep your interest Rennell. You don't care about yourself anymore just this other person's wants, needs, hopes, dreams...you lose yourself in the mix..."
