BlueRoseTorn Democrats for the win! domokun I'm so happy that Santorum's out of office. I detest that horrid man. We all know what santorum REALLY MEANS. I don't live in PA, but go there regularly to visit my mate's family. I'm not going this Christmas though. :/

I never really plotted out where their houses are in relation to the city lines, y'know. But the address is definitely Allentown. Pretty much my dad's whole side of the family lives in PA or NY. I miss my Uncle Tommy; haven't been up there in about three years. Shame I never got along with his brother. xp

We have achieve full circle. It still needs some work, but at least I've a full repeat twice. I may see if I can push it out to thrice; there's a power in that. May expand on the repetition in the second half, too. FWIW, feedback is welcome; I'm long past the "my verse is a beautiful and unique snowflake which wilts under the sun of critique" stage.
Ode to the Razor, Choice
Time twists and sheers the limb from tree Both bark and blood descending free In time with choice's cruel decree. Curled in the night When fears take flight Beware the sight Of apples floating on the sea.
Refracting back into the sky The winds of choice are riding high White hunters seek and dare and die. Under the moon They will come soon Fast cries the loon - Your pains are riding passions by.
You cannot bind them - Free they dance. You cannot hide them - Come now chance. You cannot mind them - They seek the edge. You can only bide them - Cling to the ledge.
Two coursers bright with blood ride past, Then two of pale and tattered cast, Two more of shadowed scar the last With screams of fear Pale rider's spear - Collapse the steer The rise of red - reveared contrast.
Thus hope and dream dies with the day Bleeds into dark without delay Soaks down in earth to mark the way Three drops of blood A traveller's bud To guide the flood Of those who from the light will stray.
You cannot bind them - They seek the crown. You cannot hide them - They rise and drown. You cannot mind them - They come and go. You can only bide them - And then you'll know.

I savor the fact that "contrapuntal" is the adjective of "counterpoint."

Sorry for the delay.
Aesi, I know only to well how tight-knit certain religious groups can be... But I am not here to vent my spleen and hate on those who have irritated me. sweatdrop If you can't change the situation... find a better one... or weather the storm... sweatdrop
Glad you didn't die Reagun, but you already knew that. heart

You know, I keep finding myself horrified on behalf of the pagan community.
Like I'm flipping through this magazine with all this weird fluffy pagan/hippy s**t, and all of a sudden I see this thing where it's all like WRITE YOUR NAME IN OGHAM ON A SILVER PENDANT, and I'm all like NO DEAR GOD NOOOO eek gonk and I have this weird feeling like somehow, Reagun is watching.

I exist! Really!
~isn’t here under duress or anything- eyes Quiet~
1) I haven’t checked my PMs. 2) I do not get on Gaia at work anymore. 3) My hubby has started a new job. He is working with the same company I do. It’s heaven. 4) Hubby’s Birthday is coming up in two weeks. 5) I’m glad Wing is alive. 6) I won’t be around much. 7) Pictures from RCR came back. They look great. Quiet is going to upload them to the Interweb and I will PM those from Re-Con the links so they can look (and order pics).

TheDisreputableDog I savor the fact that "contrapuntal" is the adjective of "counterpoint." Even better was when our class invented the term "counterpunctuation." xd It's really cold in my house and last night was bizzarely surreal. Did any of it actually happen? WHO KNOWS?
