Leina: "It will be ready soon," Vela replies.
Everyone: As Layla, Xiao, and Sand-Claw enter the mead hall, Sazey returns bearing an empty tray. "Mr. Rudrick is very ill," she says. "He won't be joining you for some time, but he sends his regrets."

I take a seat at a table, and wait for breakfast to be ready. "So any one have an idea where I could find more things to shoot?"

"Hmmm... Apollo can possibly fashion some targets that we can scatter over a certain part of the the island... just to keep you occupied. The rest of us could help too." I rest my chin on the palm of my hand and smirk.

"Hm... yes, I could definitely set up something like that." I say in response to Nyx's statement.

My ears twitch as I come up wtih another idea. "And we could move them around when needed... As long as the targets are light enough, that shouldn't be a problem. I'm up for helping out with that since I'm good at scaling up things. Of course someone would need to keep the curious dragon occupied while we place everything to keep it fun for her."

As I listen to the others and their ideas about making target practice for Sand-Claw, I find a seat and sit down, smiling toward Vela appreciatively as she mentions that breakfast will be ready soon. I then look back between Nyx, Apollo, and Sand-Claw before speaking up. "While you guys are placing targets, I could practice sparring with Sand-Claw..."

Waiting patiently at the table, Willow looked for a jug of water, or something of the sort to practice.

"Yay target practice! Oh wait, we did find where the first challenge was, and I marked it on my map!" I say cheerfully. "But someone needs to come with me, I can't pick locks..." I say, my ears drooping.

"Target practice? I could try shooting them from a glide! Show them Reds that not even the skies are safe! Although, I might want to work on getting some more jump height or something first... Maybe try to channel some divine energy in a blast... I got it!" I shout out, remembering my days of mmorpg playing. In peticular, there was one skill that a rifle weilding engineer, or any character could if they got a certain rifle in the storyline. It involved jummping up, shooting down to lift you up into the air, causing you to fly up, and making a second blast on the land to soften the impact. While hugely unrealistic for something that can't fly, perhaps it would work if I use my wings to catch the blast the right way. I bolt outside into the field, putting on my hat, tying it securely to my head, the heavens knew I was probably in for quite a bit of failure before I succeed, and either road was bound to be a rough one. I jump up into the air, unfulring my wings at the apex of my jump, and try to fire a blast of divine magic a foot under me.

I listen to the others, especially when Sand-Claw mentions needing someone who could pick locks. "I can do that too..." I say a bit softer. Being an assassin, I had learned how to pick almost any lock I could find.

Willow: There is nothing of the sort. Perhaps you could ask Vela or Sazey?
Layla: {WIS 15: 10} {Blast-catch 10: 8} {DEX 14: 5} You manage to fire a blast of magic where you wanted it. Your plan succeeds, pushing you just an inch higher, but giving your wing enough to glide around. You even manage to land on your feet when you run out of flight!
Everyone: "Breakfast!" Sazey shouts. She and Vela carry plates of fruit and toast and place one in front of each person, with one being set out for each of them and one more for Layla.

"Alright! Lets see if I can get me a little more distance on the way back!" I shout out happily. I jump up agian and fire another blast, making it a litte bit closer below me this time as I attempt to "fly" back towards the base.

"I can pick locks too." I say in a bored tone. When breakfast comes I go outside to alert Layla. "Breakfast time." I walk back inside and sit back down. Willow does have a point. The longer we dilly-dally, the smaller our chances of getting out of this game become.
