Streamjumper Borderlands or Red Dead Redemption are strong candidates for AG group play, the latter being better if our numbers are more than 4 consistently. With enough warm bodies (or deceptively lifelike corpses) TF2 becomes a possibility as well. You may wish to consider Transformers: War for Cybertron, which comes out on Tuesday. I don't know how keen you'd be on the online multiplayer combat, but there's also 3 player drop-in/drop-out cooperative campaign mode and horde mode with the same 3-player mechanic. That basically means that I could be jamming through the campaign mode with Psy and get a message from Zero saying he wants to join. I accept and our support NPC disappears to be replaced with Zero. If half an hour later Gaia HQ is hit with a meteor and Zero is urgently needed to pull bodies from the wreckage, he just ducks out, is replaced by an NPC support character, and Psy and myself keep on playing with no interruption but many jokes about a second meteor with Zero's name on it. Oh, and the Gamestop preorder bonus is being able to play as Shockwave in the horde mode. Not OMG HUEG, but still pretty nifty.
The drop-in/drop-out mechanic sounds pretty handy. :3
Ooh, looks like the Amazon exclusive is Demolisher. Neat. =o [/Amazon junkie]
Edit: Oh, fuh. I'm in buying-mode anyway and I know I'm sold on giddily clinging to Starscream so I may as well place the order. >>;

I came late to the video game party!
-On the subject of new xbox360: The older 360 supposedly was harder to scratch up those discs. Still, I am sold on the newer one. They did say there will be no more RROD. The system will have a friendlier way of telling you that it is not working any more.
-On AG gameplay: I need to get me an xbox 360 and my ps3 working again. I am actually itching for some Borderlands action. The only AG gameplay I ever did was when a few of us played a few games of smash bros brawl. And when kinect comes out, I fear what may happen if enough AGers find it worthwhile.
-On E3 itself: Nintendo had a strong showing, Sony had me very happy with Little Big Planet 2 and Twisted Metal, and Microsoft was lackluster. Don't get me wrong, the Microsoft press conference amused me but it just didn't WOW me. Oh, and Capcom has me sold on Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 based on new gameplay trailers I've been watching.

And... the very first mission on the Decepticon side is supposed to be the meeting of Megatron and Starscream if my reading of several reviews is correct.

Hope you enjoy the new system though.
@Stream: Yeah, playing with everyone sounds like a ton of fun, but with how money is I feel like if I buy a system, I'm better off getting the PS3 and right now I have a wii and PS3 around to use D:
If I ever am financially well enough for it, I'll probably get a 360 primarily to play with all of you guys, though generally I'm more of a solo gamer.
