She rolled her eyes and caught up to him at the door.
"It better be safe, although I know you didn't promise it." She said with a slight laugh.

She looked back out at the city they had just drove from, a few parts were on fire, and the sound of screaming and moaning could be heard.
She shook her head and looked back to Reeve.

He only waited for her a few moments before shaking his head and entering inside himself, letting the door close on it's own with a click and leaving her outside until she decided to come inside. His boots made like tapping noises against the tiled floor as he moved, slinging his rifle off his back and bringing it upward to point in front of him.

"Jay?"

He asked, his voice raised. When no response came to his call, he responded by calling again:

"JASON! Damnit! Stop being a crackpot and get your a** out here."

He knew the man probably didn't do crack but comments like that usually got his blood boiling to no end. Though, as nobody came out still or even spoke, Reeve began to get annoyed. Heading over to one of the hallways, he kicked the wall heavily before proceeding down it. As he passed each door, he sharply turned to look inside as he moved to make sure there wouldn't be any surprises like there had been on the roof.

"JASON!"

The man yelled again, passing yet another door that was closed. On a sign hanging from the door around the center it clearly read: "Ammuntion Storage." Though it would most likely turn someone off with the rather large lock and amount of smaller locks upon it. Reeve didn't care however, kicking that door too but far lighter for it was made out of steel over wood like most other doors in the building.

"Carrie, wait here."

He said, reaching a turning point in the hallway which lead both further straiht and turned left. A sign on the wall by the intersection read:

"(Arrow Upward) Bathrooms."
"(Arrow Left) Offices."

"Thanks," he said catching the ammo in mid-flight. He pocketed it in one of his vest slots for later use. Bringing back his M3 in hand he said, "Ok. I'm all set to go. I want to head to the S.T.A.R.S. Airfield first, see if there any working choppers and or S.T.A.R.S. members around. If we can get a chopper, searching won't be so hard. Sound good?"

"The only airfield around is the main airport, i think that went up during the riots and the panic. We probably won't find anything intact at all."

"Did you hear that? sounded like...a truck or something.."

Forest tepped out of the building to find a girl driving off in a truck, he pulled his gun and fired a few shots over the cab, trying to get the driver to stop.

"Hey! You, in the truck! Stop! Now!"

Nick was in quite a state of shock. He hadn't expected a truck for one thing, but for Forest to shoot at her to grab her attention? He gave Forest a look that said, "I can't belive you just did that." But it was gone in a second to address the truck driver. "Umm, hi," he said kind of awkwardly. "I'm sorry my friend here shot at you, we were just trying to get you attention. What's your name? Are you with S.T.A.R.S.?"

Nick gave a sigh. "No, we were just about to go looking for other S.T.A.R.S. members, or anyone else that was alive in this damn city. Good thing Forest here has good ears, otherwise I wouldn't have heard or seen you. I would have tried to contact my old S.T.A.R.S. buddies a while back, but I tried most of the old radio channels; no responce. I'm figuring that they changed them all, it's been nine months since we last been on a mission together." He gave a curious look to Tomy. "So tell me, Miss Tomy, what's a junior police officer doing driving a truck in a city infested full of zombies? I'd be already gone if I were in your shoes."

"Nick Earl, S.T.A.R.S. helicopter pilot and ex-S.W.A.T. assault unit," he said silently noting the edge to her voice. "And I must say, I'm royally pissed at a couple of people right now. You'll have to forgive me if I start being an a**." He gave a quick look to Forest. "I'll let my friend here introduce himself. After that, we can get down to business."
