Miko~
Miko had been dozing off and on and she couldn't remember when exactly she had finally fallen asleep completely but suddenly, a vision startled her awake. "Nereus!" She cried out in a cold sweat. Miko jumped to her feet, eyes darting back and forth as if to regain her bearings. She realized that she was still in the clinic room with Gannon and Hikari. "Something's happened to Nereus. I have to go... but... Hikari..." She reached forward and felt the girl's forehead. "No good," she murmured. The Reyvateil's temperature had gone up again over the night, even with the added frost magic of the Teru. Sweat glistened on the girl's forehead, freezing because of the cold. Miko didn't want to leave her... but... the vision of Nereus' battered body didn't leave her much else of a choice. He had been left for dead out near the woods somewhere. At least that was how it looked. "Hikari... I'm sorry that I have to leave you like this. Gannon... please take care of her. I'll be back as soon as I can!" She bolted out the door, racing out of the hospital doors.
The half-ling stopped, recalling the area around them in the vision of Nereus she experienced. She glanced over by some trees. "There, I'm certain of it!" She took off, fearing the worst for her friend. "Nereus!" She called out upon seeing his crumpled body on the ground. "Get a hold of yourself! You've got to make it!" Immediately, she closed her eyes and cast her Healing Wind spell. She glanced around the area around him. That Teru girl... I could have sworn I saw her in my vision... What happened here...? Maybe her vision was off or wrong. But something about what happened here made her unease with Ina rise. Should I tell someone about this? No, I can't... Not when I don't know if she's done something or not.

Ina Ina sense someone coming towards where the body of the human was laying, she jump down and saw one of the twins casting magic. "Shouldn't you be with the Teru and the Reyvateil?" She then look down at body laying down and back at the Teru. "How the hell did that happen? Shouldn't we take him to the hospital or something?" She ask calmly as Ina bent down to look at the human. "I could try giving him some jolts, but I ain't a healer so I don't think that would work."

Miko~
Suspicion immediately flared up inside the half-Teru's mind but she quelled it and forced herself to keep neutral. Don't say anything. In the position I'm in there's no way I'd win if I confronted her with anything and she happened to turn on me. I've been up most of the night using my healing magic on Hikari. I wouldn't be able to fend her off as I am now. She nodded to the Teru in front of her, keeping calm and keeping her thoughts to herself. To anyone else, it would appear that Miko was simply showing concern over her comrade. She answered the Teru without looking up as she kept her magic focused on the human before her. "I sensed something had happened. I guess it comes with the territory of my Teru clan," she answered with a half-smile, making to appear completely unguarded and trusting. She kept on guard for anything the female Teru might try, however. "Do you think that you'd be able to help me move him?"((Then the morning comes... All righty, wakey wakey!))

Gannon…
The sound of Miko's voice brought the Teru to consciousness. "Care...of her?" The Teru's eyes snapped open and he shot up in bed to his immediate regret. It felt like his head exploded. His muscles were screaming at him. He had to fight passing out. "Ugh..." He lay back in the bed. In the clinic? What happened? Memories of the battle came back to him. Oh... Right. He still couldn't believe it. Tessia, alive? Or someone who happened to look, sound, and smell exactly like her. But the things she said. There was no way that could have been. But she knew things that only the two of them had known.
So many questions rushed through his mind, with no way of getting answers. But before he could think on it more, he noticed the Reyvateil sleeping at the edge of the bed, her hands covering his. "Hikari..." He reached over and rested his hand on her forearm and was somewhat shocked at how warm she felt. The virus must have flared up after the battle.
Ganon managed to sit up and swing his legs over the side of the bed. With some effort, he was able to make it to his feet. "Alright. Up ya go." Even with as beat up as he was, he was able to lift Hikari up onto the bed. "Can't wait any more. You looked after me, now it's my turn." He bent down and picked up a damp cloth that had fallen on the floor. Musta been using it to keep her fever down. He folded it over and froze one side before placing it on the Reyvateil's forehead. "I'll be right back." He turned and limped to the door.

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~
Vague, grotesque dreams of something she couldn't explain assaulted her and she curled up in a ball in an uneasy slumber. "Stop... please... I did everything you said... why... please don't..." She vaguely felt herself being lifted and heard a voice that she couldn't recognize at first. Everything was hazy and she struggled to open her eyes. Where was she? Who was with her? What was she doing there? She heard the voice again and suddenly something clicked. "Gan...non...? It's you... I'm glad... I didn't forget..." She was barely aware of what she was saying in her delirium but was trying to make sense of it all.
She was warm. So hot. And she felt so sick. She heard him say something about leaving and felt a cold cloth placed on her head. "Too hot...s'okay... you go... I'll... wait..." She murmured before she passed out again into a fitful slumber.

Ina "Sure, where to?" She said calmly. Looking at the human, she began to wonder why had he done this. Ina then pick the human and waited for the Teru to lead the way towards wherever they were going. Focus on what you came here to do. He does not know anything, so I should disregard him and ask her if she knows anything. No seems to be around so maybe...I should! "Say, you been traveling a lot right?" Ina said in tough yet calm tone. "Have you seen some Teru with red hair recently?" She pause for a moment to adjust her weight. "If you didn't then forget I ask."

Gannon…
"Hikari?" He went back to the bed and put a hand on Hikari's arm. "I'm right here. I'm going to get someone to bring you to the dive shop. We'll get you feeling better in no time, K?" He gave her arm a squeeze before turning and heading out the door. He didn't have much time until one of the staff saw he was up and about. It would be much easier if his plan went unnoticed.
It wasn't long before he spotted what he needed. There was a wheel chair not far from his door. Unfortunately, on the way to get it, he was spotted by one of the nurses."What are you doing out of bed!? You have to lay down. Your injuries are serious.""I er... Just who I was lookin' for! We were jus' wonderin' if we could get somethin' ta eat. I dunno how long we've been here, but I can tell ya it feels like I haven't eaten in days. Whadaya say, Darlin'?"The nurse seemed to be considering his request."I suppose It should be fine... I'll go see what I can do, but you have to go back to your room. Okay?"
"Sounds perfect. I could use a bit more rest, anyways. Thanks." He watched the nurse walk off before turning his attention back to the wheel chair. He quickly took it back to the room and parked it next to the bed. "Alright, Hikari. We gotta move fast." He took hold of the Reyvateil, getting ready to move her to the chair.

"The clinic," Miko said. "His injuries are serious." When Ina asked, Miko paused only to answer. "We haven't come across anyone like that, no..." She said, thoughtfully. "But, well Mana and Gannon, they both have been travelling a long time. A lot longer than I have been. Maybe they know who you're talking about?" She supplied the Teru girl. She frowned. "Maybe I should just call for someone to come get him..." She said fretfully. Miko was at a loss of what to do. If Ina had hurt Nereus, was it wise to leave them both alone? "I'll be right back." She decided that she had to chance it.

 Hikari was shaken out of her uncomfortable sleep once again when Gannon grabbed her. She did her best to sit up and move where the Teru was trying to get her to go but she ended up leaning against him. "Okay," she murmured against him. "Why do we have to run again? I don't wanna run anymore... don't wanna fight..."

Ina "Think I can't handle carrying him?" She said lowly yet loud as the Teru left. Ina put the human on the ground and went a tree press her back against the tree trunk with her arms folded. Ina look up at the tree tops as she let out a soft sigh, thinking this is pointless. I know that I want to murder the b*****d, but what if I do so, what then? Furthermore, what the hell am I going to do once he is killed. Am I going back home and say to their graves that I avenge them? She push herself and walk towards the human, just laying there motionless. Looking both ways to see that no one was around her, she bent and touch his wrist. "Pulse." Ina let go as she pace from the tree that she was leaning and back to keep her awake.

"Is he going to be okay like that? I didn't want to move him because of his injuries..." Miko said. She shook her head and sighed. "Okay, let's just hurry." She pointed in the direction of the hospital. "This way." She said, leading the way back to the clinic.

Gannon…
"No, no. No running. No fighting. We're gonna get you feeling better. That's all." He reassured the Reyvateil as he assisted her into the wheel chair. "We're gonna get ya to the Dive Shop and get rid of this virus." He unlocked the wheels and pushed her out of the room. He glanced around, checking to make sure there was no one to stop them and then headed for the exit. He knew the receptionist or someone would try and stop them at the front door, but he'd have to take that chance. What he wouldn't do for a distraction...

Miko reached the clinic, pausing only to make sure that the Teru still followed behind her. She then burst through the doors. "We have a seriously injured young man. He's being carried in by someone right now. Please, follow me!""Right. Everyone, prep a room! Emergency!" All of the staff quickly dispersed at the order, hurrying to accommodate the newest injured member of the group with their own individual task.

Gannon paused, hearing some commotion around the corner. It was Miko. "Not what I was hoping for, but I'll take it..." He was concerned over who was hurt, but he had to take care of Hikari. He waited a few seconds to make sure no one would catch them and then headed out the door. Luckily, the Dive shop was only minutes away. It didn't take the Teru long to cover the distance, even with his injuries. He opened the door and wheeled the Reyvateil into the building.

"Wait..." She had been silent the whole way to the Dive Shop, being too weak to talk, but she mustered some of her strength to talk again. "No more... no more fighting... I wanna stop now... I know... we're gonna dive... then we're gonna run and fight again... I'm tired. No more, please?" She leaned back against the chair trying to look up at the Teru. "I don't... want to see you get hurt anymore... I'd rather die..." If we got any closer, I couldn't bear losing him, she thought to herself. And then if he does leave me after... The thought terrified her.
Once they were inside, she slumped limply in the chair, knowing that in her current state, there was no way she'd be able to fight whatever Gannon wanted to do. As far as she knew, she had no choice and was just along for the ride. Part of her really wanted him to dive, she knew it. She already felt a closer connection with the Teru more than anyone else. She wanted to stay by his side and keep singing for him. But another part of her knew that it was impossible, and it would only end in heartache for her, and possibly him too.
The Fau Pira was crumbling, and with it, her mind. If they managed to get closer and the Song Server finally collapsed, she would be lost and where would that leave Gannon? Apparently he had already loved and lost once. Could she let him do it again?
Then there was the newly added information about his lost love. Tessia had returned. What if he dove further into Hikari, caused her to get closer to him and want to be with him only to run off with his true love? She squeezed her eyes shut at the thought. It was more painful than the other scenario she pictured in her mind.
Then lastly, part of that dream she'd just had flashed through her mind. She was almost certain that it was a fragmented part of a memory from somewhere in her past. The pain, the terror, the despair, it felt all too real. If just that tiny clip from her memories was that frightening, could she really risk diving with Gannon and facing it? Especially if he left her alone afterward. She trembled in fear. "I'm afraid," she admitted softly to the Teru. "I'm sorry, but I feel like there's something there that shouldn't be seen by either of us... if you dive..."
