Stage One: (Jericho and Riley team up) - Pass
Riley toddled back to the obstacle course, being tugged along forcefully by Jericho as she tended to try to stop every so often, losing focus on where they were headed.
Jericho? She murmured quietly as she gazed up at the dark sky. I don't think I feel so good.
She felt the tug of demand and snapped into focus right before walking into the hurtles, and barely managed to walk around them instead.

"I'm... pretty tired myself," Jericho sighed. Dying once a day was incredibly taxing, he found. With a sort of grimace, he went and tried to tackle the course once more.

Stage Two: (Jericho and Riley team up) - Pass
I don't know if we should keep doing this. She admitted with a quiet voice. She had all but forgotten why they had been throwing themselves at the obstacle course over and over, and even as she backed up a few steps to jump through the hoops, there was a hesitant falter in her movements. When she reached the end, she slumped.
Maybe we should just go back to our dorms and take a nap.

"No. We can't give up," Jericho growled as he dove through the hoops, "You needed to speak to Nox right?"
At least, that was what he thought Riley wanted to complete this course for. He doubted it was simply for bragging rights.

Stage Three: (Jericho and Riley team up) - Fail
Nox.. The name sounded familiar. Who was that again? I needed to speak to.. who now?
She stopped in mid-stride, and her brows furrowed deeply.
I need to speak to Nox.. It started to sound familiar, once she thought about it.
But stopping to think about it got her a flaming ball to the face.
When she woke up in the infirmary, she sounded like a broken record.
Jericho, I don't think I feel so good..

Stage 3 FAIL
Jericho didn't have a chance to reply to Riley. He was about to try and get her to keep going but then the bombs came and destroyed them both.
Hearing her speak in the infirmirary, he sighed once more. She was losing it.

After being cheesed by Desu, Muka thought he'd try his hand yet again at the obstacle course. He'd watched a few students win but most of them failed, bursting into FEAR particles before his very eyes. It was fascinating really!
The poor strix didn't even get a chance to try! One of the gnomes, in an effort to scare him into action, had a bit too good of aim with those rifles. Muka heard the shot fired and before he could even start to run he was reformed elsewhere.
DAMN GNOMES!
Stage 1: FAIL.

Riley seemed to understand that they were trying to pass the obstacles, when she arrived at the course and immediately started jumping the hurtles. Unfortunately, she didn't have anything to say this time around.
Or, maybe she just couldn't talk anymore.

Riley's silence was a little unsettling, but it seemed that she was focused in the very least. Jumping the hurtles with her, Jericho was quiet too, hoping that they would be able to defeat this course for once.

Stage 2
This was a poor choice on Riley's part. Jericho was tired from the constant attempts at this course. He started to go and try the hoops, but he only ended up stumbling before reaching them. Some gnome sniper decided to take care of him from there.

((Stage 1: Siobhan Teamed Up With Akubi))
Siobhan had tried the trial once before, and had been felled almost instantly before moving an inch into the course. This filled the banshee with an overwhelming sense of shame. She felt she owed the one running the trial a debt. She had to complete the obstacle.
She would need help.
Outside the event she found a demon called Akubi. In exchange for teaming up, she gave him her "inside knowledge"; There was a lot of fire.
For this, they would need... protection.
The short pair made their way into the first trial together, each sporting a pair of sunglasses.
They were here to win.
Deal with it.

It wasn't like he usually did this sort of thing but the ghoul seemed to need his help so desperately. Still he toyed with her a little and asked for a little 'inside' information from her about what the course was like before he agreed to enter.
When she offered him the sunglasses? He put them on without shame and stepped in with her.
Akubi without even thinking about it grasped Siobhan's hand and they went forward jumping over the hurdles together. It was almost effortless the way they overcame the first obstacle together.

Without Akubi there to hold her hand, Siobhan was sure to have failed. However, the demon gave the ghoul a comfort of his presence, and leaped over the previous hurdles with ease with him.
Next came the hoops. Puleaaaaze! Siobhan ran with Akubi, hand in hand, leaping through the hoops with grace and ease.
Deal with it.

This was a challenge? Oh please. Akubi had a small yawn and was contemplating what to have for dinner that evening. He squeezed Siobhan's hand lightly as they made it to the end of the second obstacle together.
