Selia rasied her head, her tears now the color of blood instead of a tinted water. "Stopping whatever is hurting and sealing it with a kiss." She said poetically, still sobbing harsley. She shoulders shook with exaustion, her own veins starting to become the black undertone as Valiks while his slipped away. The red glow began to soften, but suddenly burned brighter and brighter. Selia opened her mouth to scream, but couldn't. Her tattoo glimmered black amoungst the red, as did her usually vivid blue eyes. Then everything went out, leaving a diseased looking girl and boy. Selia still had tears streaming down her cheeks as she leaned down to softly kiss Valik, breathing a new energy into him. Looking at Boothe, Selia smiled and whispered something intellagible, then collapsed.

Boothe was shaking profusely as he slowly released his brother. Just then, Seastian dashed out of the bushes and stopped short, dropping yellowed papers to the ground. "Dear god..." he breathed out. Sebastian went to Selia's side. Valik's eyes suddenly darted open. Boothe let out a breath. He inched closer to see his brother. Suddenly Boothe gave a pained, confused expression. "What did you do to him?" he said quietly. They weren't his eyes, though. They were those of a full blooded neko.

Ryan dropped to his knees next to Sebastian, trying to find a pulse in Selia's wrist and neck. He found nothing but a faint murmer, quickly fading. "Selia. Selia wake up dammit!" Ryan started shaking her shoulders, making Selia look like a rag doll. Sharp snaps could be heard as Ryan rattled her, but it wasn't bones breaking. It was bones forming. Angelic wings ripped through Selia's shoulders and engulfed her in their black feathers, searing Ryan's skin when the touched. Selia's tattoo still gleamed black, and her hair was fading into a golden red. Her true angelic form, gained from her mother, had begun to show. Whatever Selia had done now triggered her bodies natural extra energy source, bringing along a transformation unlike any other. At the sound of Boothes voice, Selia's eyes snapped open, and her wings dissapated into smoke. Sitting up quickly, Selia turned to Valik. Or what was Valik. "I.. I.. this wasn't supposed to happn!" She screamed, throwing her hands to the sides of her head. Her tattoo still burned against her skin, feeling like an inferno raging inside Selia's chest.

Boothe's face went pale. Selia looked just like her..he shook his head, focusing back on Valik. Valik just lay there, eyes open, staring blankly up at the tree covered sky. "Valik." Boothe said. Still nothing. "Valik!" he said louder. Now, Vailk looked at his brother. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, Boothe shuttered. "Your teeth.." Boothe acknowledged. They were long and jagged. Valik closed his mouth. Black tears formed in his eyes. Boothe hugged his brother. "I still love you the same." he choked out. Sebastian sat on the ground, speechless. After a few silent moments, he stood and picked up the old papers. With a sigh he arranged them then looked sorrowfully at the brothers.

Selia shook with silent tears, her head sliding down to her knees. "I'm.. so.. sorry." She gasped, choking on her own tears. "I.. I.. don't know what went wrong." Selia whispered, looking up at the boys before her. Selia hugged herself around her legs, wishing she would be worth something. He was right. He was always right. Daddy was always right. Selia sobbed harder, no longer silent.
Ryan remained silent, but stood somberly by the three brothers.

Sebastian's jaw tightened as he turned and walked towards an opening. "We'll..uh..stay here tonight. Set up camp." he said quietly, barely to where they could hear. "There's a large patch of moss over here. Valik can rest there." he added. With his free hand, he ran his hand over his mouth, as if wiping off food that had missed his mouth. His hand dropped and he just stood there silently. Valik's mouth was slightly opened, because he couldn't close his mouth completely due to his long teeth. He shrugged his hefty brother off gently and slowly sat up. He continued to stare out into space at nothing in particular. He was in shock. in his own world, completely oblivious of anything that was happening. In fact, he felt like he was floating in a chilled atmosphere. He felt cold, yet his body temperature was through the roof, though it was normal for a full-blooded neko, especially a neko of Valik's kind. Finally, Valik stood, but immediately put his palm against a tree for support. He felt terribly weak though it was the exact opposite. He looked at Selia with an unreadable expression. His gaze held for what seemed like forever. Valik was speechless. Unsure of what to say, think, or feel.

Selia stared back at Valik, though her expression was dead. Her eyes had no life, and steadily dripped still bloody tears. Her veins were tinted with a black undertone, her skin a pale white against them, making her seem like a drawing or a figure of imagination. Standing, Selia walked up to Valik and hugged him, saying nothing out loud. I'm so sorry. She thought, knowing it wasn't enough to make up for the horrid mistake she had caused. If it was even a mistake. It was something Selia had seen her mother do, what she had done to Selia herself to hide her angelic features. But something didn't work. Or maybe it reversed since he wasn't actually transformed. Selia tightened her grip around Valik, holding him upright, taking away the need of the tree to support him. She shivered with the warmth passing into her body from his temperature, and let a small choke. "I'm sorry." She whispered into his chest, then released him and turned to a pile of dry wood nearby, trying to light it. But the flames that danced along her hands were black, no longer the light yellow warmth.
Ryan nodded to Sebastian. "I'll scope out the area and find some food and water. If I'm not back in an hour, come find me." He said, climbing the wall behind them and disappearing over the ledge.

Sebastian nodded to Ryan as he helped Boothe stand. "Let's go by the wood, Boothe. We'll start a fire. You're freezing." he said. Boothe only slowly nodded in response. As Boothe sat next to the pile, he let his walking stick fall to the ground. Sebastian whistled sharply, and within a few moments his horse came trotting back. He pet him and looked in the saddle's pockets for materials.
Valik didn't return the embrace. He was in too much shock, and the transformation made him slightly paralyzed. His shirt was torn to bits and barely hanging on his body. When Selia released him, he tore off the remainder of his shirt and ventured to Boothe's horse to search for things as well. His legs were stiff along with his arms. After a few minutes of searching, Valik returned to the dry wood pile with an armful of findings. He dropped them next to him and sat down. Valik stared at the pile. With a quick motion of his hands, as if he was flicking water, fire burst from his hands and lit the pile to life. He did it as if it was nothing. Sebastian's jaw dropped, along with Boothe's. Valik payed no mind to them, just took one thing from the pile at a time and observing them.
After a few minutes, there were two piles by Valik. One pile of useless things, and another of needed resources or interesting objects. The useless pile consisted of a broken wine glass and a paper with a drawing on it. Though in the other pile was black cloth, a few empty flasks and bottles, a flask with a strange green liquid, and eight pieces of elven bread wrapped in a giant leaf. Valik looked at Sebastian who was now sitting by the fire, reading the papers he had brought earlier. Valik handed him the flask with the green liquid for him to later observe. Boothe sighed after poking the fire with a stick. "Why aren't you talking?" he said, almost angrily. Valik stared at him blankly for a few moments, and returned to his pile. Boothe's eyes narrowed and he threw the stick down, startling Valik. Sebastian grabbed Boothe's wrist. "Boothe!" he warned. Boothe growled and jerked away from him. "No! He's gone! He's gone!" he yelled as he forced himself up with a grunt. He snatched his walking stick from the ground and limped off towards the camp site. Sebastian sighed and set the papers down and got up after him. Valik frowned. Then the yellowed papers caught his interest. He glanced at Sebastian to see if he was looking, then took up the papers and began reading them.

Selia's expressionless eyes became hard with unnecessary anger. Standing up quickly, she followed Boothe and Sebastian, running only to stop in front of them. "How dare you give up on your own family!" Selia screamed, grabbing Boothe's shoulders, almost at the point of breaking them. New energy coursed through her now black veins. It worried Selia but she was too flustered to care. "Do you honestly think he is lost? Do you!?" Long, dark angelic wings had appeared again, this time to stay. "Is that why my mom isn't here anymore? Did you give up on her too?!" Selia released Boothe's shoulders, her slender hands quickly turning to fists at her sides. She knew she had hit low, and was truly sorry, but fury was an inferno in her chest. Everything in her vision was tinted an electric red, flashing with her pulse.

Boothe frowned. "Do you not see what she did to my brother.." he growled. Before Sebastian could reply, Selia came storming at Boothe. A pained expression filled Boothe's face and his heart dropped. In response he bent over at the new pain in his leg. Suddenly there was a loud growl and Valik was upon Selia in his were form. Valik's large eyes blinked hard. His expression went from rage to confusion. Boothe's jaw dropped. "He's a werewolf, too?" Boothe whispered. Valik looked at his brother, then ran off deeper into the forest. Boothe tried to run after him, but Sebastian pushed against his chest. Boothe let his mouth hang open. His leg would have stopped him from going after his brother either way. From the corner of his eyes, he glanced at Selia, suddenly feeling betrayed by the world. Sebastian patted Boothe's back, and walked slowly back to the fire. When coming back, Sebastian saw the shuffled papers. He cursed under his breath and ran his hand through his hair. Those weren't meant to be seen by Valik. At least not yet. Sebastian kicked angrily at the dirt and snatched up the papers. He was angry at all of this. Everything that was happening. Angry at the way everything he loved was falling apart.

Selia stayed on the ground, breathless from the force of Valik's tackle. Standing while no one watched her, she flew upwards into the canopy, landing carefully far up above the camp. Wrapping her arms around her legs, Selia began to silently whisper spells, hoping she could find one to reverse what she had done. Sleep finally over powered her endurance, bringing prophecies in her dreams. Fire was everywhere, forcing groups of night creatures together, only to be demolished by the mecha neko army. Sillouetted in the flames was a group of fire. Angel, Elf, Vampire, Were, and Neko all together as one unstoppable force, with a seemingly guardian above. Selia tried to see who these people were, since the races didn't fit. Or maybe they did. Her eyes opened as she fell towards the ground, and Selia blacked out as a branch broke her spine. Falling to the ground after being dropped like a rag doll.
Ryan came back to the group with a deer behind him. Looking at the angry Sebastian, confused and hurt Boothe, and no Selia and Valik, Ryan sat. "Okay what happened?" He glanced at the guys, waiting for an answer. A crash made him jump, coming from a few trees down. "Probably just a squirrel or something" Ryan shrugged, not knowing it was Selia.

Both Boothe and Sebastian jumped at the crash, but also shrugged it off. Sebastian sighed. "Valik ran off. Again. And I didn't even see Selia go away." he paused to look around. Selia was covered by a wall of shrubbery. "She must have went looking for him." he suggested. Boothe grimaced, not paying attention to what was being said. He was cursing in Russian under his breath. Cursing at Selia for thinking that he had let his dear brother go, just gave up on him. How could she have brought up his love and her mother? How did she even know? Did Ryan tell her? Boothe glanced up at Ryan then looked quickly back to the ground. He felt like everyone was turning on him. He only had Sebastian left it seemed, and who knew what Sebastian would do. Or has he already done something?
All the worry and thinking had made Boothe sick to his stomach, and judging by Sebastian's concerned expression, he knew something was wrong. As Boothe began to compose himself, he let out a rough cough. "I'm going to take a leak. When I come back I'd like to rest." then he began to limp away.
Sebastian sighed and let him go. He shook his head at the ground. "Valik is so quiet," he commented quietly. "He seems so distant." Sebastian looked at the game Ryan had brought back, and took out a knife from his pocket. He walked over to the deer and began to take off the skin.

Ryan pulled out his own knife and began to skin the deer as well. Looking up at Sebastian, he glanced at the direction Boothe had gone. "I think there is more to it then that. Why's Boothe so pissed?" He whispered, barely audible. Ryan went back to skinning the deer, working into a rhythmic pattern he was used to.

Sebastian stopped skinning the deer. He turned his head towards him, but didn't look at him, only the bloody deer. "Selia made a comment about Valik and Boothe's..." he searched for words to explain. "past lover." he replied vaguely. With a sigh, he continued to skin the deer. Sebastian shook his head. "He's hurt much more than he is angry." he added quickly, starting to feel angry at Selia himself. "I could see it in his face." Sebastian breathed deeply. Why was everything happening like this? Weren't they all supposed to be on the same side? He didn't understand. Once finishing his side of the deer, he began gutting the deer. Though he didn't last long. Sebastian stood and cleaned off the knife with his shirt. "It's against my beliefs to do this." he left the deer to Ryan and walked to the fire, throwing a stick into the flames. He sat and looked blankly at the yellowed papers from before.

Ryan nodded and continued to finish up the deer. "So Selia just hit him low? Wow sometimes it's like she doesn't know who she's messing with... i just hope things patch up soon. We need to be a group, not a mess, if this is going to work." He said, standing up and coming over to the fire, sitting across from Sebastian.
