Alwine looked back at Colette, Mandy, and Barth, trying to look pitiful. It was a little difficult to do without a head... but at least she looked dejected.
"I'm just worried... we should ALL stick together..."
With a sigh, Alwine turned around and started to undo her high-neck collar.It was a rare thing for the ghoul to do, as she usually NEVER showed skin. But after all this, and the threat of death breezing peppermint sticks down her neck, Alwine was ready to cut a little loose.
The Van Brunt family liked to insist that the girls of their family wear proper undergarments, like bloomers and corsets. Underneath Alwine's torn dress was a black corset lined with deep green pearls. It was something that her older sister had insisted that she wear. She hesitated when it came to her bloomers, but eventually she pulled them down and laid them next to her dress. Her green panties definitely clashed with her corset, but Alwine hadn't expected anyone to see them.
She turned back to Mandy, Colette, and Barth before saying, "Are you guys going to go in? Colette, it's safer to stay with a group than it is to go off on your own..."

Tahki had not expected Sammy to take off most of her clothes. If anyone had been paying attention they would have noticed that the gryphon's face was a little redder then its normal state as she had jumped in with a nearly naked Sammy on her back.
The water swallowed Tahki upon impact only to have Tahki resurface shortly after. The gryphon doggy paddled awkwardly around the hot spring before settling on the edge.
Pant..pant...pant...pant...pant.... Cough cough...
Tahki coughed up some swallowed water from the cannon ball. Oh boy had it been worth it though. Fun, was that the word?

Sammy only laughed as Riley dumped the wet clothes on top her own, she probably deserved that but it was worth it. Very worth it just to tease the mindflayer. Swimming back a bit she only grinned at the mental sounds of the pleasure the flayer was making. "Not so bad ah?"
Reaching over to she gave tahki a pat on the head, the red was chalked up to warm water in sammy's mind, not the fact all that she pretty much stripped on her new friends back. "Cough it out now dear, c'mon."

Witnessing one of those damn snowmen offing itself was pretty cool in hindsight, but the fact that people were all gung ho about swimming around in its corpsejuices...
West leaned forward a bit, peering over the heads of his classmates in an attempt to see whether or not they were all soaking in a heap of snowman intestines. Huh. Nothing. Well, nothing except a tie, a hat, some sticks, a manky old cigar and maybe a carrot.
He shrugged, loosening his grip on Yaya's arm and silently hoping she would stop girling on him. "Havattit if ya want."

Aksaja grinned when Riley did slip into the water, though he only now had a thought that perhaps he should have taken off some of his own clothes before getting soaking wet.
....... Oh well.
"See?" he said with a little wink. "Told'ja."

Malodore stared, nonplussed, as the snowman...
Melted...
... "I believe this may be some kind of graveyard for their kind," the plague doctor said, stooping down by the edge of the water before rolling up one sleeve. It swished one finger carefully through the water. "A suicide ground. How odd..."

As wonderful as the hot water felt on her aching muscles, Malodore's musings made her shudder. That was.. kind of.. ew. She splashed Aksaja just slightly at his wink, before ducking under the water for a second. Every one of her tentacles bubbled happily at the warmth, and when she resurfaced, she came back with a soaked black top hat.
Looks like you might be right. She waded up near the edge and handed the hat to Malodore. Surely it would appreciate more samples.
Maybe that's why it's so warm. There was something about them that had a spark of life, after all.

Tahki gave one final hack before she was all good. Thanks to the help of Sammy of course, the last of the water was spilled out in the snow. A burp followed after the water which made the gryphon's face blush all the more.
Had she swallowed that much water? Probably.
Tahki gave Sammy a purr in thanks before disappearing back under the water. A playful glint had shimmered moments before Tahki had submersed her self in to the hot sprints warm waters. Soon there after Sammy found her self being dragged by a play time starved gryphoness through the water.
Play time? Yes!
Tahki let go of Sammy as soon as the two were deep enough that the gryphon could play pool time floaty for the undead ghoul. Tahki reemerged with Sammy on her back.

The lightning dragon made a face at the plague doctor's observation... strange visions of dying snowmen racing through his brain ... which was why he completely missed Riley splashing at him. As such, Aksaja ended up inhaling quite a bit of that water and spending the next few moments coughing and hacking.
Geeezzz way to ruin the mood. But after he got done re-learning how to breathe he simply ... decided not to let it bother him. Shrugging a bit, he muttered, "Well so what? This place could stand t'have a little less JOYous monsters in it. And if them dying in here made it warm... all the better for US."

Jamais was walking along the lane until she spotted the others in a hot spring. Her head tilted curiously, "How's the water?" She asked curiously as she walked towards the group. It was seemingly a large hot water pool.

Malodore accepted the hat with a solemn nod. "If I were an anthropologist, this place would be a treasure trove. Alas, that isn't precisely my field..." It did, however, reach into its sleeves and come up with a few vials, which it submerged and then corked tightly. "I wonder if the entirety of the solution is snowman-melt?"

Sammy would have made another remark towards Riley, however she never got the chance instead squeaking in shock as she was tugged away to the middle of the pool. Moments later she was popped up again on the back of a Gryphon. At first all was well, till the wind blew across her clashing with the warmth of the water.
"JACK IT ALL THIS IS FREEZING!" She flailed about aimlessly before falling off the Gryphons back sinking down into the water popping out gasping. "My gosh, that was horrible evil Gryphon." Laughing she wrapped her arms around the neck of the bird lion offering a short kiss on the cheek. "S'good to see your okay really."
Pausing she turned to wave to Malodore, "Hey doc, c'mon don't be stuck on your studies and have some fun and jump in!"

I hope not. She chose to try and ignore the idea of the water being anything but water, and turned to rest against the edge of the hot spring with her arms spread out on either side. I'm enjoying it far too much. Not that I wouldn't enjoy bathing in the blood of these forsaken creatures, but.. she shrugged, chuckling quietly. Just hot water would be nice, too.
Aksaja's reply made her eye him mischievously, and she splashed him again (perhaps a little softer, this time) along with Sammy and Tahki. She had to admit, this was a welcome change from the torturous trekking they'd been doing the last few days. They deserved a break.

Letting out a snort, Jericho couldn't help but feel jealous of the others who could soak in the springs. He on the other hand could just stick his hands and a part of his tail in. Technically he could use his head too but he couldn't exactly breathe underwater.
"Why couldn't it have been a bigger spring," he mumbled unhappily. At least he was able to put in what he could though. Turning towards Riley, he spoke a little flatly, "You better be enjoying this."
"The water's hot," he answered one of the other students, "Aka perfect for this damn weather."

"You enjoy it," Malodore called back, settling itself a few feet back from the edge with its prizes - vials and hat. It was not going to disrobe, and it was also not going to jump in fully clothed. Ergo, it was going to stay right here on the snow.
Luce, however, flung herself into the spring with abandon, flailing up a storm.
