Exxos The event is supposedly down, when it is up. The event is supposedly up, when it is down. I can access it during the entire time and saw no down time. Yet everyone was responding that they were missing items when playing during that time. All these little goits keep screaming about how 50 gets you the tub, screw the tub, we get the point, what about all the other items? This event also makes me think of that hot'n'cold song by katy perry. (sung to the tune of the Grand Old Duke of York) And when it was up it was up And when it was down it was down And when it was listed in the forums It was neither up nor down

So I was thinking of what the final event item could be for this xmas event. And some things occurred to me:
1. Gaia is not one to simply throw out things, they're too stingy and are too sluggish to make things even for EI's to the point of often streaming out recolors, especially an avatar skin, and especially not an avatar skin with bits that stick out like the overseer skin. It has to interact more with all manner of things.
2. The SIN and BOO skins are not only soulbound, they are anti-storage soulbound. This is something gaia only seems to do with things like zOMG items or other things that have to immediately be updated.
3. Why keep sentinel and overseer around for xmas and make them central to the event?
So here is my theory of what is the big prize for everyone who participates in the event; that the halloween event skins will be replaced with a skin four pack of the SIN skin, BOO skin, Potatoverseer skin, and as yet unseen SIN failure form skin.

So I've figured out the easiest way to do the event, for those who want to do it. I've been buying concrete tiles from the housewares store, as they're the cheapest thing I could find without having to hunt all over the marketplace. It's a little irritating as you can't buy items in bulk from the stores, nor can you donate items in bulk, but I'm already up to 25 items donated in under an hour, so if you have some time to kill, it's good for that. Also, completing the achievements earns you gold (1000 for getting the donate 1 item achievement) so it's not a lot of cash outlay either. I haven't been paying attention to what I'm getting when, but I've got a few different forum titles, and I think I have an engine toy, and I know I just got the overseer figurine for donating 25 items. Hope that helps people out smile

Well I wish I could gift my secret santa person... but apparently they are not in the AGA anymore... searched for them and the name don't show under the guild members tab when you type it...!!!!
So Oh robot PAT... plz send me a new santa person or Lamb will forever save his cash this year wink

Hello and happy Holidays to all my friends and loved one in here, and to all those I haven't yet met. smile
The whole Christmas/holiday things is coming up way faster than I feel it should. Grandparents are coming to whisk my son away to Oregon this Saturday, and I fly in on the 22nd. Then I know it will just be bustle bustle bustle, fly back, work work, back to normal, like I got caught up in a tornado! It's okay though, if that's the only way I get to see family I am all for it. I think I want to be able to do things on my own time schedule, but the fact is, if I DID do things that way,they would most likely never happen.

Unfortunately (though quite predictably), the caroling seems to be broken, as well; I can perform the actual caroling, but cannot receive the item.
