She hated hurting animals. Hated it so much. She was trembling and the gun was shaking in her hands until he took it from her. SHe buried her face in his chest and slowly calmed down. "I just don't like hurting them..."she whispered.
It took her a few minutes to get herself under control but she finally did and she pulled back and wiped her eyes which tears had begun to form. "Thanks Erik, I don't usually get like that btu sometimes..."

James was in his own room, thumbing through files and attached to teh computer terminal, inputing information and doing searches as fast as his brain could come up with them. So far none of the experimentation labs or animal rights or theological groups..nothing was comign up that woudl be able to finance the kind of number that tech was supposed to be getting. not to mention he'd ordered upgrades to virtually all teh lab equipment for Echo, stating for the Raidiance higher ups that outdated equipment coudl cause problems. hinting that bad equipment coudl make massive steroided Echoes that coudl get loose and do lord know what kind of damage. always good to frighten those beaurocratic bullies.

He held her, petting at her hair as he let her calm down, using him for comfort. Hey he understood how it felt really. This was really one of the reasons she had been picked for the job anyway, she was compassionate to animals. "Hey it's nothing more than a flea bite to him, I swear that to you."
A reassuring smile to her as she pulled back. "There's a tough girl. Now come on...boss lady is still loopy. Less people who know the better." Thug gathering thier things again he pushed open the pen. He gave a whistle. The fenrir's ears twitched but he showed no signs of coming after them. He was in dream land. "Alright, we're good to go. Just be careful."

She looked at him for a moment adn then laughed. "You know just what to say don't you Erik?" A gance in at the enclosure and it looked safe enough. The fenrir appeared to be out and that was good, right?
So she tiptoed into the enclosure moving very slowly towards the still drugged Jelena and a now drugged Fenrir. She hoped he asn't going to move. Didnt' look like he was going to. She walked over to JElena and poked at her a littl ebit ready to run if she had to. Then a nod to Erik.
"Alright big guy. Come do your thing."

He walked in and actually pet the creature on his snout. "See harmless." Though the slightest growl made him take his hands off. The creature could still smell him but back to business. Carfully stepping around the creatures legs and tail he got himself to Jelena, shaking her shoulder a bit to get her attention. "Hey you, it's detox time."
First he set out the kit he had with him, taking one of her pills out and dropping it into a plastic cup. Four vials of the detox nanos were opened and poured in as well. What looked like liquid silver was really thousands of little machines. About two thousand a vial. Normally he would only give her two, adn then two more a day after. But this was quick detox.
He let the cup sit a few minutes, biodegradable machines programming themselves with commands on chemicals to go for. After a good ten minues he dipped poured it into the drain champer of the syringe and sealed it. Then he went to preping Jelena's arm before using the vein in her elbow, injecting the thousands of thing. "Detox is of course never fun at all."

Lillia covered her mouth to stifle the giggle that wanted to escape when that growl came and Erik snatched his hand away real quick. "It was just a snore..." yeah right but tha tmade her feel better so she said it anyway.
She watched the process fascinated by what he was doing. SHe'd seen a detox before, but never her boss and never selective amnesia, not that it was any different from detoxin another human or animal who happend ot be poisoned by either a medicinal drug or an actual poison.
"Do I need to hold her or will she stay put while you inject her?" Well never mind. It was done now. Lillia walked over and brushd Jelly's hair away from her face, sitting down beside her while Erik did his work. She wrappped her arms around Jelly and murmured soothing words, even though Jelly most likely couldn't hear her. It made her feel better.

Well wasn't that a cute picture, Lilia trying to comfort Jelena who probably wasn't getting anything. But detoxing by this fashion was much like detoxing anyone off of regular addictive drugs. And this Fein percription was a narcotic. Thus withdrawl symptoms would occur soon enough. Shakes, cold sweats...though when she was more coherent she'd be mean as hell and cranky to boot.
She was vaguely aware of what they were doing. Oh hell...she hated detox. Though he was putting far too much into that dose...he was trying to put two days treatment into one. Hell. Pretty soon though she was feeling the first affects in the form of shivering.
"You sure you want to sit there. That this is going to wake up you know..."

Lillia didn't move the entire time. She nodded, she knew what happened when you detoxed someone or soemthing for that matter. Some threw up, some got the shivers, some got a really bad fever, it all depended on the drug.
"I'm not leaving her. She doesn't need to suffer through this alone, even if she's not happy when she finally comes through it, it helps to have someone there." She huddled closer to Jelly as she began to tremble and rubbed her shoulders and arms gently, still murmuring those soothing words and every once in a while brushing her hair out of her face. Her skin was cold and clammy, oh yeah withdrawal was going on.
"If the fenrir worries you why don't you just lift her up and we'll go to her room. But whether she stays in here or goes somewhere else, I'm going to sit her through the whole process."

"I do it this way because she needs a comfortable surrounding. This guy was her first successful Echo. Fifty pounds when he was a newborn adn already standing two feet tall. There's a picture on her desk in her office of them together. And there's no other Echo more protective of her."
He scratched at the back of his head. "Usually she's left alone...per her own instructions to me. Mostly becaue as you saw he gets vicious. Though...alright lets do it this way. He's done this before, he knows when she's getting better. Maybe him knowing she'll be okay will keep him from attacking you. But one foul move from him and I want you out of here, got it?"
"I'm going to go to the office and make sure James doesn't get this far back...he's supposed to be coming by to see his cerberus today." Thus Lilia was left alone with a quick detox Jelena as Erik went to the office.
Jelena was rather still...despite the shaking. Drug world seemed to be goign bye bye on her. Though with the loss of that a nice feelnig of nausea was creeping up on her. Oh god...she hated detox...make her paranoid. Oh look here came the teeth gritting headache.
One hand fisted into silver fenrir fur, the other took purchase on Lilia's sleeve, though Jelena wasn't particularly aware that she was with another human at this moment.

Lillia nodded, "I understand."
It was pretty quiet for a while until she felt Jelena grab onto her sleeve. The Fenrir shifted a bit but didn't really move and Lillia began talking to her about anything that popped into her mind. Poor Jelly, she just needed to get through this. She was in pain and Lillia really wanted to make everythinbg better for her. She knew she couldnt' and that sucked more than she could ever imagine.
"It's going to be okay Jelly. I'm here and your Echo is here and we both care about you. You're going to be just fine, just get through the detox." And Lillia went to rubbing her back gently.

Words were nothing more than mumbling. The room was too bright and sound was too loud. Of course she was busy trying to not hurl the gallons of icecream she had indulged in over the week. Why couldn't Erik just put a sedative into the mixture too? Oh right, teh pills were hald sedative.
She was vaugely aware of Lilia being there. How sweet, she was staying...though at a very undignified time for the doctor. Oh well...everyone had thier bad days right? Oh wait...almost lost the two boxes of cookies there.
He shifted, snorting lightly. Lifting his head from his paws he shook it a little, makign dust flit. Turning his head back he spied Mom...and the other woman that often came by. But a sniff over Jelena that dropped his head and he licked at her, big wet tongue getting both women.

She kept holding Jelena and rubbing her back since she really couldn't do anything else to help her. A little bit later she could tell that Jelena was coming through, she seemed to be a little bit more aware of Lillia's presence.
The Fenrir's large tongue made her stiffen for a moment and then calm back down. She could do this, just remain calm and don't let him smell your fear. Jelena was her number one concern right now anyway.
"Good boy. SHe needs you right now. Be there for her just like I am. and I'm not going to hurt you or her, I promise."

James was on his way exactly to the Echo labs, any FS that were slacking hopped to at his coming...no one wanted a repeat performance of SEAL hell week. and into the labs and looking to Erik.
"So how's he, or she as the case may be, looking? and where is Jelena, she's not in her room and this is the only place I know she'd come to directly."

This was hell...absolute hell...Erik had forced a horribly massive dose into her...and it was working at maximum efficency. Sometimes she hated efficency like nothing else. She pretty much laid there, propped against both the fenrir and Lila who was being her support system right now...which was a little strange...she was used to being left alone cuddled by an echo.
He continued his rather gentle licking, a bit of nipping at her almost as if her was trying to groom her to calm her a little. Though a flick of an ear to Lilia. He had decided that she wasn't a threat to him or his mother. And if hse turned out to be one...well she'd be duly eaten then now wouldn't she?
Oh joy...Erik's worst fear of teh moment was there. Oh well he could lie his way out of talking about Jelena. "Oh she finally came out...took a walk in the back labs...still wants to be alone." All said kind of hurried before he turned to the other topic at hand, bringing up information on the screen for James to look at.
"As I said yesterday, completely successful thus far and it doesn't look like that will be going down hill anytime soon. You two make a god team."

James woudl have raised an eyebrow if he coudl do that trick, that was a rather hurried explaination.
"First, she didn't come out on her own, the door was hotwired. second, the only person that woudl attempt that is you, adn third, the only place you could bring her without being overly noticed is here. now what is going on."
A small grin.
"and I wouldn't mind seeing..it. do you know a sex yet? adn are all three heads and brain functions working well?"
