Hullo *waves*
Thanks for having me ^^. I'm from Wake Forest, NC (that's near Raleigh) I love art of all kinds. I breed chihuahuas, and have 4 of my own, and a wolf/husky/shepard mix. I'm a huge geeky Duke fan even though I didn't go to school there, but as long as they aren't playing Duke I always root for the Carolina teams against anyone else. Nice to meet ya'll!

I have a thread for conventions in the Carolinas, so check it out!
There's a con in March in High Point (Stellarcon).
I've been to a con in Asheville in the past too. Don't know if it's still going, though.
And not in the Carolinas but nearby is ShiVacon up at Roanoke, VA. They put on a great art show.

I got to go to Wilmington in the spring once. It was great, with wisteria in bloom long before we had it on the Piedmont. I'd love to go back someday.

Hi y'all fellow Carolina people
Nowadays I live out in the boonies near Winston-Salem, NC. I used to live in Raleigh. I got tired of fighting traffic jams so I moved to the country but close enough to Winston to get to town when I have to.
I'm pretty private and like my solitude. But every so often I get to feeling sociable. Like right now. lol

Yeah, the west side of W-S sorta got messy, didn't it? I go through there on I-40 when I go to the mountains. If I make the mistake of getting off to go to Sam's or something, I always have a terrible time getting back to the Interstate.
