Cadmus Clapped. "Yes! That is all that I need to finish the potions. It'll be more then enough to create the second potion so long as this one works we'll be all good."Cadmus was pleased a small nudge at his ankle prompted him to look down and see his Green Friend had arrived with the blood rat. "Good good."He knelt down and picked up the plant and gently set him down on the table where he was working. He took the blood rat from the vine holding it and put only one drop into the potion. It flared up brightly before dimming down changing the green potion a purple color. He stuffed a cork into the vial and moved over to Camelia. "Please be calm this will help." Camelia's vines twitched but she made no move to attack as Cadmus approached. She was generally very good, it was just hard to get explain things when she couldn't speak. Cadmus approached slowly watching carefully as he neared. He placed his hand on Camelia and she jerked away just before opening her large mouth. Rows and rows of razor sharp teeth layered her entire mouth opening there would be no getting through her mouth and living. Cadmus tossed up the potion smart enough not to place his hand near the teeth. With a snap she grabbed up the potion floating. The crunch of the glass could be heard as she eat the whole potion. It tasted funny. The Glass made the whole thing crunchy but the liquid went down smooth. The Cork however was a pain. It stuck to a tooth.Cadmus began to slowly back away when the Mutant Venus Flytap began to sway. Saddest thing to say though he was not near quick enough to move out of the way for when the potion took effect it took effect quickly causing the plant to come crashing down forward landing right ontop of Cadmus. OOC Note Anyone want to help Cadmus out from under the plant? Anyone who reaches 100+, if they haven't already, can rp out helping Cadmus. Camelia is a very heavy plant who is three times the size of Steve. Tomorrow evening/night I shall Post Cadmus getting free from Camelia.

Suddenly Mandy heard a heavy thump in the distance. Turning towards it with a frown she didn't really pay attention to what she ripped up and threw at Steve.
She did notice though when it made a tentacle slam down inches from her barefoot.
Yelping she put her attention back on the fight in front of her.

Sheridan's eyes widened, a very obvious step backward away from both Cadmus and the plant. Holy jack that was a lot of teeth! The professor was very brave (or completely nuts) to put his hand that close to that things mouth. There was no way Sheridan was getting that close to that plant, ever.
He was about to ask what the potion was meant to do when it happened.
"Professor..."
Whatever he had meant to say was lost, another several steps backward as the plant began to sway. This was not going to end well was it. Sheridan dove, he did not want to be under that thing!
He didn't look up until after the crash, the ground seeming to shake under him as the plant fell. It was only now as he looked up that he truly realized just how big that thing was and how how glad he was that--
Wait a minute, had it landed on someone?
"Professor! Are you alright?"
Uh-oh, how were they supposed to get the professor out of there? Obviously he could not lift the monstrous plant, but maybe if there was something he could use as leverage...

A very loud 'WHUMP' echoed through the greenhouse. Johan, thinking that Steve was attacking again, leaped up from the tree he'd been resting against, and grabbed the nearest herb to hand. Eyes wide as he scanned the vegetation, it took a minute for him to determine that no, the vine was nowhere to be seen, and he could actually hear students.
The class! He'd managed to completely forget that there were other students in the greenhouse. And here he was separated from them, like an idiot. He quickly headed toward the sound, and was surprised when he stepped out into a clearing around a large, comatose-looking plant.
"Steve?" he asked, eyeing the enormous bulb. Was this what had made that noise?

Well it was clear to Cadmus from where he had been pinned down that the potion worked perfectly fine. He hoped that the Potion that was on the table was still there and she Camelia hadn't knocked down in the process of falling on top of him. Cadmus sighed thinking about the situation as well as how ridiculous the whole situation was turn out to be, and to top it off he was still gonna have to give out tonights homework. Then he heard a student he could quite tell that it was Sheridan but he could understand what was said.
"Yes I'm quite alright."
His head thumped against the ground of the greenhouse with a soft thud. He placed his palm flat on the ground and focused on the connection he held with the plants in the greenhouse.
Within the greenhouse the plants around Camelia and the students near to the situation with her began to move as if beginning to wake up. None of the plants seemed to bother with the students as vines began to drop into sight from all around aiming for the large fly trap. Thorned vines and smooth vines alike began to wrap around Camelia and in a group effort they began to raise her if only by a little bit.
The vines from the rest of the greenhouse got her lifted up enough that Cadmus could crawl his way out mucking his whole outfit with dirt not that he cared. The dirt and greenhouse coexisted and they were his life and so it was not uncommon for him to get dirty. When he finally reached free of the venus fly trap he stood up dusting off much of the dirt.
"See quite alright. So now that we know the potion works let us go and give Steve his dosage."
With Cadmus free the vines released Camelia not bothering to set her down she fell once more thudding to the ground only this time it wasn't as loud because it wasn't from so high.

It took the loud thumps to alert Tess that maybe she should come back from her search, not realizing the others had found what their teacher needed. Well, that and the fact that vines were congregating at the spot where the teacher had been. Crimson eyes blinked in surprise at how much she'd missed. She decided now would not be the best time to ask what had happened. Maybe Sheridan wouldn't mind giving her a recap later. After class. When they were out of this greenhouse.
"What would you need us to do for Steve, Professor?" she asked.

Sheridan raised a brow, making a mental note to not get on Cadmus' bad side anywhere there were plants nearby. Not that he still wasn't convinced the professor was completely and totally insane, or every other professor in this place for that matter.
Pulling himself to his own feet, Sheridan nearly jumped at the second thud, quickly turning to face the plant again, only relaxing when he realized it wasn't going to move again. But he wasn't going to breath easy yet, there was still another one of those things rampaging through the greenhouse.
"Professor, what if 'Steve' isn't so willing?"
It was a worrying thought. The first plant had seemed fairly tame, at least when it came to the potion. But what if the other wasn't so...easy going? (He couldn't believe he was applying that adjective to either plant).

"Ahh. This stuff isn't working. Why can't we just find an axe and hack it to pieces for firewood?" He huffed, tossing the Ash Bark over his shoulder and trotting off to find something else. Being hungry, he was starting to feel crabby. He just wanted to EAT Steve. Not fight him.
It was then he found a patch of Belladonna and smiled. It reminded him of his witch friend. Pulling some from the ground, he read the note. "Suppressant." He hoped it suppressed the creature enough to try something else. Going over, he tested it out.

This was getting old fast, and Calder was feeling his tendency for bad luck return. He knew he should start carrying a few clovers in his pocket to help him out in times like this, but no such luck. The only plant he did have, from looking at his book, was Chicory. He hoped it would do.
Again, he tried out the plant and it seemed it didn't much of anything. Just made the root shiver a bit as if it needed to sneeze. Great. Calder tossed the useless plant over his shoulder. NEXT!

Even admits what was going on, the she-wolf actually stopped to glance at the herb she had found. For the life of her, she couldn't recall reading anything about it. Except that it was a sister plant to Deadly Nightshade. Was that a good thing or a bad thing? Her tail flicked in agitation. LW swore her goal after this class was over, was to go read through (or skim) her Botany book again!
She didn't really expect this herb to work, but she attempted tossing it out there anyways.

That choice, obviously hadn't worked. LW frowned at the plant she was quite positive she detested strongly right now. Sniffing along the herb choices she had, one familiar one stood out and she walked over to pick up a little bit of Oregano. The she-wolf knew this her fairly well and offered (or tossed it again) to the plant.

Well, she could rule out any sort of stomach ache, not that she'd thought it really would be something like that. But it had been worth a shot, right? Maybe going back to the 'randomly grabbing and not really looking' method was better? Worth a shot...nope. That method failed too.

LW shuffled along, avoiding fellow students and vines, as she glanced along at her choices in arsenal. Oh look! She hadn't thrown this one yet. And...surprise surprise, couldn't recall what it did. No wait! She did know this one. Maybe it would help Steve? The she-wolf decided that it really wouldn't hurt to try and tossed that one towards the plant. To her (secret) delight, it had some effect!

LW was starting to wonder how much time had elapsed since they'd started students vs Steve. Was class supposed to be over yet? Had they barely started? How long had they been in here? The she-wolf had pretty much lost her sense of time as she fell into a too familiar routine of hunting down an herb and 'offering' it to the cranky plant. And her latest choice was fail!
