New question!

Rosie once added a hot rice dish to the offerings at her bar.
What did she name the hot rice dish?

According to Radar, when Hawkeye asked what it was called,
it's "Hot Rice."

New question!

Hawkeye once claimed one of his ancestors had dealings with the
(American) Indians. What was that ancestor's "name", and what
did he do, according to Hawkeye?

"My grandfather, 'Tombstone' Pierce, sold them whiskey and hors d'oeuvres."

Rudyard Kipling wrote a famous poem, "If."

It begins
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,"

and continues on through other circumstances, ending with the conclusion

"If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!"

Hawkeye once gave an alternate opening for the poem.

Hawkeye:
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs,"

how did Hawkeye end the sentence?
And who named Rudyard Kipling in response?

Was it something along the line of 'you're crazy' or 'insane'?

Hawkeye:
"If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs,
you probably haven't checked with your answering service."

BJ:
"Rudyard Kipling."

That was from BJ's first appearance. Radar was panicking because someone
stole the jeep they came in.

NEW question!

Dr Sidney Friedman once played a practical joke at the 4077.
(He participated in one, anyway.)
What was the joke, and what did Sidney do?

BJ had filled Frank's fox whole with water and when Sid questioned him on the one that had been pulling all the pranks he asked Sid to shout "Air Raid."
When Sid shouted this Frank came flying out of the Swamp to jump in his fox whole only to find himself surrounded by water.

That's the practical joke all right!

I think Alan Arbus (Sidney's actor) didn't get enough roles as an actor.
Then again, that's probably true of most actors.
