Looks like my arrow's a little limp, flopping out like that. That was a heavy bonk to the head. I hide behind the tree to cast a sheilding spell on myself.

I take a deep breath as I hold my sword tightly and finally leap out toward the hammer guy. Once I get within reach, I duck slightly below where I thought he might swing as I attempt to slash my sword across his torso.

I keep an eye out to keep track of which Reds are still alive as I charge up a fire/electric spell.

Putting away the bow, Willow readies her scythe and makes her way briskly towards the man with the hammer, swinging the blade upside down with the point aimed at his stomach.

"Well this sucks," I say, and load a bolt, and advance closer to the mage with evasive maneuvers.

Nyx: The man freaks out at your change in expression, but isn't fast enough. However, because he does attempt to get away, you don't snap his neck. But, you do some damage nonetheless! He falls back, hitting the ground pretty hard. He's still alive, though. 2 damage to Red Archer Layla: Your shielding spell won't block everything, but it will reduce damage. 2DR for Layla for three turns Leina: You hit! Ooh, that's GOT to hurt! 4 damage to Red Hammer-Swinger Apollo: At this time, the axeman is alive, but almost dead, the hammer-swinger is still pretty good on health, the mage is doing okay, and the archer is also close to death.
Willow: You miss! You almost hit Lud and Leina, but they jump out of the way in time.
Sand-Claw: You get pretty close, but shouldn't get much closer!
Everyone: Mazrun swings at the axeman one more time: the axeman dies! Lyriana spins around and tries attacking the hammer-swinger, but he dodges! Lud swings at the hammer-swinger, but misses! The hammer-swinger tries to hit Lud, but misses! Leina also dodges! Willow gets hit! OUCH! The Red Mage unleashes a blast of magic: it hits Sand-Claw, and it certainly stings a little! The Red Archer fires at Talc again: he hits, dealing some damage! Talc swoops in again, but misses! Red Axeman dies; 6 damage to Sand-Claw; 3 damage to Talc Battle report thus far: Willow: 15HP Layla: 8HP, +2 DR for three turns Apollo: 7HP Leina: 10HP Nyx: 12HP Mazurn: 13HP Lyriana: 12HP Lud: 14HP Talc: 7HP Stek: 11HP Sand-Claw: 11HP Red General: 0HP Red Swordsman: 0HP Red Axeman: 0HP Red Hammer-Swinger: 8HP Red Mage: 11HP Red Archer: 2HP BEGIN ROUND FIVE!

I round the corner of the tree and fire a shot at the archer, hopefully finishing him.

The moment I hit, I immediately pop up and swing the hardest and fastest I can at the hammer guy's neck, knowing I might be taking a big risk, but hoping I'll catch him off guard from the previous blow.

I feel the need to assert my magical dominance and cast my spell at the Red mage, aiming the ensuing fiery lightning bolt at his snout for some mysterious reason.

I step back as I see Layla aiming for the archer. I put my mask back on and go for the big lug swinging the hammer. I bring out my dagger and aim for his spine.

Willow waits for an opening on the red mage and charges at him, attempting to catch him off guard whilst also ensuring she wqas ready for an attack from him if he saw her as well as those around her.

"Son of a b****," I mutter as I help Lud get the man off of me, but then I'm immediately back on my feet and notice the mage hitting Apollo and his clothes catching on fire. I glance between the two for a split second before running as fast as I could and attempt to come up behind the mage and stab him as close to the spine as I could get, knowing if I could get him, I would at least stab something vital....

I dash out from my spot, making sure to interpose myself between the mage and Apollo, to give him time to put himself out. I pull out my blades. "You, have made me very, very upset." I say, stabbing at him.
