You hear the emergency alarms going off in the distance, not only from Barton where you just came from but also from the direction of the Creeper Castle... You wonder what's going on, but are not about to stay around to find out; quickly you run to the nearest hide-out, an underground system of caves. Inside, you take a moment to catch your breath; it doesn't take long before you realize several of your friends are also hiding there. None of you has even the slightest idea what's going on, but you have a feeling that whatever it is, it won't end well.... The explosions you heard before are getting louder and louder as the ground starts trembling, as if they are getting closer... Then, for a moment, everything goes quiet again. You hold your breath, hoping that it might be over.... One giant, ear-deafening explosion later, and you're left trembling on your feet, your heart pounding in your chest but thankful to be alive. Looking at your friends, they seem to be in much the same condition, but it seems like you all survived at least. Carefully, you all make your way to the exit, hoping it wasn't blocked.... The sight in front of your eyes as you leave the caves causes you to hold your breath in shock for a moment. What was a beautiful winter-wonderland just mere minutes ago, is now covered in a thick layer of dark fog... Or is it smoke? As it clears up a little, you look in the distance at the direction Barton is in... But instead of seeing the familiar skyline with its cute little clock tower, you only see more smoke. Quickly, you and your friends start running back towards the Castle, passing by piles of rubble in the dirty snow on the way; you can't even see anymore what they used to be. As you arrive at your beloved hide-out, once again your breath falters at the sight... It appears to be still standing, but all the windows have been blown to pieces and the whole building looks unstable; the ground surrounding it covered in ashes. It's an unusual sight, seeing your home which is usually so full of life, abandoned and worn-down like a ghost building. As something wet drips in your neck, you look up and see it starting to snow again; instinctively you pull your coat tighter around you as you look at your friends, unsure what to do now. Will you: &�� Team up with your friends to find a safe place for the night? &�� Split up to cover a bigger area in hopes you find something to help you survive? *shivers at the chill and places a hand on the hilt of her sword warily* If it is beginning to snow I think we best quickly split up for supplies and for information. He smirks a little, and you notice his fangs gleaming in the moonlight. Could it be...? "You're...." You don't get to finish your sentence as the young man leans in, his speed almost inhuman as he uncovers part of your neck and bites down. You feel a sharp pain going through your body, followed by a burning sensation as he drops you to the ground once he's finished; he turns around and vanishes as quickly as he'd appeared. The last thing that goes through your mind as your vision goes black and you pass out, is his silky smooth voice. "We'll be back for you when you're awake.... Welcome to our vampire clan." V-Vampire...? *winces at the sudden pain before passing out on the ground*

It's framework looked as if a bomb had exploded the roof off for crying out loud! The once peaceful town was in chaos. Wasn't this supposed to be the happy-go-lucky place before Christmas?
