Stirring slightly she begins to wake up, "Uhh? Oh...I guess..." Her sentance was stretched as she yawned, "...I musta dozed off..." Sitting up, the blanket of white rose pedals fall off her body. Yawning behind an open hand she takes a look around, "So peaceful...so quiet...alright, time to go kill something." She laughed at herself as she lept back onto her feet and made her way towards the dojo.

Stopping about halfway back to the garden she looks up into the blue sky. So beautiful...so peaceful...

After several minutes of admiring the beautiful skies she decided it was best to leave the area for a while. "Maybe I'll pay little Tyrsais a visit...he seems so intent on killing me, so why not?" She laughed as a pillar of light surrounded her body. The light grew brighter and brighter until she was engulfed in it, her body becoming the shape of a small blue diamond, traveling up the pillar like a tube.

9 looked to the older side of the garden and flapped her wings. With a short burst of speed she took light and quickly landed next to the pond. She looked around then walked over to the edge of the pond and looked down into it.

In the sunlight, beneath the lily pads that covered the surface of the pond two object faintly sparkled in the water as 9 looked down. The wind seemed to slowly pick up around her and the feeling of being watched began growing. Yet there was no one around.

SHe flicked a wing as she looked around her then down into the water. WIth out worning 9 dove down to the objects and grabbed them. She came back up quickly, shooting out of the water and into the sky. She stopped about 5 feet above the water and looked the items over.

"Do not think you can do as you wish."
A voice rang in her mind as the wind swept around her and snatched the objects away from her open before she could see them. The two objects began their decent back to the ground.
"Leave my past untouched."
Appearing before her was the ghostly figure of Akki in his demonic form. His red eyes glared at 9, not recognizing her in her angelic body.

"How dear you speak to me like that. Stay out of my mind or I’ll make you wish your weren’t even a ghost. Why is it you have never let me look at the things you keep in the pond?"
9 asked as she looked at him. She hurt to see him like that. She wished there was something she could do for him. The only place she ever sees Akki any more was here at teh pond.
"You know I thought about getting rid of the pond and this half of the garden a few times."

Akki raised an eyebrow and tilted his head a bit confused. He catching her eye with his, he paused as he slowly began to realize. His figure relaxed as he stretched his claws. He turned his head away from her, his eyes leaving her's to the pond.
"You have changed...again. I do wish I could talk to you in another way, but this is how it has to be. Shall we decend to the ground?"

She nodded slowly as she let herself to the ground. Her wings folded around her, hugging her body as she watched him closely.
"And once again the change wasn't my doing. Shadow took my old body and gave me this one."
She said in a soft caring voice.
"I'm going to start a new. Once I clean the dojo out some I'm going to leave. I've started using my real name once again Kesral."
She pulled out the locket from under her sash and looked down at it for a moment.
"I fixed the clasp after I broken it. It sticks now so I always leave it on."

Akki followed her down, his eyes never leaving the ground. Once he landed her look up at her and listened to her, nodding in the apporiate places. His eyes widen a bit as he saw the locket.
"You kept it." The surprised heard clearly in his voice. "After so long... why?"

"I don't know why.... I try never to let it leave my sight. Tyrsais and shadow have both wanted it, thinking it was my key to the powers I hold."
She pointed to the stone she put in the center of it.
"That's the real key. That and the memories the locket holds. Even if we can't be together any more... I've never forgot you. You will always hold a special place for me. But that's all in the past now."
9 carefully took off the locket and held it out to Akki.
"I'm changing still... Soon there won't me much of me left. I want you to talk this back before I throw it away with the trash."

Akki gazed at the locket, understanding her position, but the fact was, he couldn't really grab it. He only kneeled down by the pond as he said, "Let me show you what I have been keeping here."
With a few and repetitious waves of his hand over the pond's water, waves slowly began to form and lapping themselves up on shore. It took a few minutes but finally a ring and locket washed on shore. Both in rather poor condition due to what they have been through when Akki was alive.
"I left most of our past here. All the things that I held dear I have moved here. All the things that meant so much to me I decided shall be kept here where it all began." He said and sighed before looking up at her, looking at his ghostly claw. "I cannot take it back, but I do believe even if you change there will always be a small part of you that will remember what that locket means."

"Very well, I'll keep it them. Thank you for showing me. I had often wondered what became of everything. I too keep my ring here. Don't ask me why, it just seemed like the right thing to do."
9 said in the same soft voice as she put the locket back on.
"I want you to know I've been seeing a vampire named Tyrsais. But that too has come to an end."

Akki turned his body around and sat facing the pond as he waved his hand again. A powerful gust of wind blew, blowing the objects back in the pond. He watched them sink to the bottom before he waved his claw yet again, swirling them into the water and sending them out deeper into the center of the pond. He sighed, trying to hold the jealously in.
"I am glad to hear that you have moved on and moving ever forward."
