After a few precise and quick slices the vines fell. Kylee stood next to Sora, sheathing her sword. "I will not allow you to kill the children, Maia. Come up with a plan that doesn't involve sacrificing anybody." She looked at Maia with a stern glare. "Honestly, how could you even think that would go smoothly?"Maia let out a groan of annoyance. "Aren't you suppose to be my bodyguard? Tch... Honestly, you people and your annoying emotions. More people will suffer for your selfish actions, you know." She let out a sigh of resignation, despite her words. "If we just let Shion get her way, and get the twins out of there before she could kill them... That won't work... Once she obtains ultimate power, there's no where to run to..." She bit down on her thumb as she thought, as though nervous. "In that case, would it be better to help Shion to ensure my own safety? Lorelei would never forgive me if I let those children die, though... Even if we could get away from Shion, without knowing the details of the ritual there's no way to come up with a plan to get out after completing it. Letting the ritual happen is a non option, then..." She looked around at everyone there. "Staying together like this, far from Shion, would really be the best option. They're so insistent on getting that one girl back, though." She thought over ways they could get Katsuko back without losing another of the twins. Suddenly, something occurred to her. Her gaze quickly went to Mizuki. "That's right... Shion's technically suppose to be taking care of Mizuki right now... If Mizuki goes back there now, Shion will surely suspect something, but... Mizuki's such an unpredictable factor, there's no telling what she would actually do. Especially considering what a bother all of this has been to her... Losing her sight again, losing control of herself to her demon side, and her thing with that boy... Yes, that's it..." She took a deep breath in as she released her thumb from her mouth's grip, then spoke, "What are you still doing here, anyway? It's quite unusual for you to care about anyone other than yourself. I can't imagine that that little stunt you pulled was to go along with the twins' futile plan. You knew it wasn't a good plan from the start, and besides, you don't care enough for them to go along with it. You got Asuha free because you were sick of all of this, right?"Mizuki looked surprised at Maia's words. "What does that have to do with anything?!" She snapped in retaliation at Maia's verbal assault."What's wrong? Afraid that someone else will catch on as to why you really decided to trade that girl for Asuha?"Mizuki growled. "Shut up! Shut up shut up!" She shouted, a faint tinge of pink on her cheeks.

Yuzuki cut the vines off Akira when she saw Kylee cut through them easily. Swiftly picking her brother up, she walked quickly away, even though distance will not help, and went near Sora. setting him down, she stood ramrod straight glaring at Maia, hand on her sword in case she needed to attack her for going after her brothers again.
Raiko groaned as all the shouting woke Asuha up. "There goes the quiet." sitting up, Raiko looked around with a yawn. So far, nothing to do with him or Asuha, so why bother caring?
Asuha rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she looked around, her tired gaze landing on Mizuki and Maia. She deemed Maia seeming...smug? and Mizuki seemed angry? No, that's not right, but she had no way to describe it. Interested, Asuha watched closely to see if she can figure out what was going on.

”How cute, you’re actually getting embarrassed.” Maia taunted Mizuki.
Mizuki growler, clenching her hands into a fist. Before she could do anything, she heard Masato speak.
Masato stood behind Maia and placed his hand on top of her head, grabbing it. ”Getting her angry is a dangerous plan.” He warned.
Maia looked up at Masato. ”What does it matter to you if I announce that she has a crush?” She states with her usual calm tone.
Kylee looked at Yuzuki, Sora, and Akira. She bowed apologetically. ”I apologize for Maia’s behavior. She does not quite understand the value of a life.”

Yuzuki scoffed, eyes never leaving Maia "Then she is not as smart as she claimse if the value of a life can not be understood." She scowled.
Asuha was confused. Embarrassed was not what she would pick. It seems improbable for the blind one from what she has seen she has not shown to be the type to get embarrassed. "A crush? So she is angry because she has affection for someone?"
"Asuha, I like you kid, but you need to learn to stay out of other problems." Raiko sighed "That's how you keep out of trouble and stay away from troublesome situations."

”I do not have a crush!” Mizuki protested.
”Are you certain? I was so sure that would be the only reason you would possibly give information about your mother to Shion.”
”Grrr... ******** this! ******** you!” Mizuki snapped, putting her hand up into the air. She started to teleport herself away from the group.
Masato sighed at Maia ignoring his warning. ”Not my problem if her demon comes out again, then...” He muttered as he walked away. He walked over to Yuzuki and her brothers. ”Are they okay?”

Asuha walked over towards Mizuki as she was about to teleport "Wait." Asuha said as she ran to Mizuki wrapping her arm around her leg. "I'm still with you, I haven't followed my part of the deal." she shrugged not caring if she teleported away.
"Ugh," Raiko groaned as he stood up and ran towards the two. He hoped to make it in time before Mizuki left at least so he could grab Asuha "This is why I told her to stay out of things."

Mizuki tried to shake Asuha off of her leg. ”Get off of me! I don’t care about that stupid s**t!” She fell over as she was unable to maintain her balance. ”You can go free far, far away from here for all I care!”
Maia laid back on the grass and looked up at the sky, satisfied with what she had done.

"Unless I get that in writing I do not believe that. Your aunt has done that to people before just to turn around and say they have yet to follow their part of the deal." Asuha explained as she held tighter to the older girl "Why are you upset? If you do not have a crush then why does it matter what Maia says?"
Raiko grabbed onto Asuha and pulled. "Let Mizuki go Asuha. Why do you pick now to be a problem?" he asked trying to pull the little girl from Mizuki, when did she get so strong or was he just weaker? Groaning, Raiko pulled as hard as he could "Come on Asuha, leave her alone. If she wants space give her space."
Yuzuki tensed as Masato came over. She shrugged at his question, not even glancing at him "They are alive. Scared perhaps, and possibly bruised. I haven't checked yet." she told him "And until the threat is gone, I won't be able too."

"I thought you were suppose to be smart! How exactly are you suppose to get it in writing when I can't see?!" Mizuki snapped at the girl. "Now let me go!"
Masato glanced at Maia before looking at Yuzuki again. "Maia's the least of our problems right now." He thought aloud as he looked over at Mizuki. "If this keeps up, the seal will break." He thought to himself.
Maia paid literally no attention to anything that was going on at this point.

"Have someone write it for you, duh." Asuha deadpanned "You can still talk and I'm sure you've had to sign things before. Its called a third party witness to oversee it and give copies. You can hold a pen, to put your name or are you that incapable." Blinking quickly, Asuha slumped backwards, she was suddenly very tired.
Raiko was finally able to pull his sister away from an angry Mizuki. He still felt weak, but it could be because he's tired and/or lazy. Looking in Mizuki's direction he said "Sorry, don't mind her. Genius kids, am I right?"
Yuzuki just hummed noncommittally at Maia and a few glances at Mizuki. "I'm guessing your sister will be the new danger?" she asked in a whisper as to not be over heard.

"Tch, whatever. That sounds like a pain in the a**." Mizuki grabbed a device from a bag she had with her. She tossed it in Asuha's direction. "That's a communication device. Now will you let me leave?" She crossed her arms, obviously annoyed, but not as angry as before.
"She's always a danger..." Masato muttered in response. He knelt down and looked over Akira and Sora. "Doesn't look like there's any bruising."

"So, you talk to me through it or what?" Asuha asked, turning the device over in her hands studying it.
Yuzuki relax just a bit, seeing as Masato wasn't worried about Maia. She still kept her eyes on the girl occasionally though.

Masato let out a sigh as he brushed his hair out of his face. "She wasn't wrong about her conclusion, you know. The only way to guarantee Shion's plan doesn't come to fruition is by guaranteeing the ritual cannot be performed. Though, there are other ways to go about that.""It's a two way communication device. It also functions as a GPS, so that I can easily teleport to you if need be." Mizuki explained, still sounding annoyed. "It has other functions, but all of those functions you're unable to activate so I'm not going to bother going over them."

Asuha nodded and put the device in her pocket. "Okay, bye." She says standing up on wobbly legs as she starts feeling normal again and walked away. She wanted to talk to the Male demon, he let her examine him, it is something to keep herself occupied.
"I get that, but killing a child, a twin who has alwahyshad someone next to them, is awful! Look at the young dragon. Her sister is gone and she is depressed. Imagine if her sister were dead how she would be." Yuzuki said quietly "It may be the easier route, but it would end badly. Possibly with one seeking revenge"

Masato sat down next to Yuzuki. "I never said I agreed with killing any of them. Rather, there might be a way to seal their power so that they cannot take part in the ritual." He explained.Mizuki sighed in relief that Asuha lost interest in her. "Good, now I can leave." She raised her hand up into the air, starting to teleport away, again.
