Man I must be bored if I'm actually watching Flash Gordon. It's so bad I forget how bad it is once the movie is done with. But you can't deny that only good thing about it is the Queen soundtrack. xp

While I really do love the anime, I find the manga more satisfying because it doesn't go off in left field the way the anime does. Besides, the ending of season two still irritates me because A) it does leave us with a cliffhanger and B) it just torments Sebastian. He put so much work into cultivating Ciel to be the perfect soul, and then he gets enslaved to the boy for eternity for all his efforts. Ugh! I sure hope Yana Toboso does not take that approach with the ending of the manga. Halfling Heroine Celestine Ravencroft I wish there were more Black Butler fans in this guild. I feel so alone. crying *cries and hugs Caelen* >-> Oh brother, not again!*raises hand* I like Kuroshitsuji! emotion_yatta I've only watched the anime though, I never got around to reading the manga.

I have to agree, the second season of the anime was both confusing and unsatisfying. At the same time though, I don't like the idea of Ciel getting his soul eaten by Sebastian. In any case I really loved the first season, that was excellent. I might try the manga some time when I'm not so busy.

If decisions being made today upset some people then so be it. I'm not going to worry about hurt feelings when you have ninety other people's feelings to take into consideration.

I give up. I really do. She doesn't care about us, or even her own health at this point, so why should we care about her. If she wants to shut us out of everything and not acknowledge the man had a daughter and a son with another woman before she married him then so be it. But for her to deny them the opportunity to have closure with their father is cruel. I would not be wrong if she planed this from the get go and wanted to make it very difficult for them to make it back to the US in time. I'm sorry his son is doing something so very important that his work takes him out of the country at times. I'm sorry his daughter is so successful she was asked to work out of Beijing for nearly five years and simply cannot come and visit him on lark like my brother can with his kids when they come down here for a few hours. I'm sorry his only grandchild to bear the family name lives in Texas.
But to deny his brother and his sisters the right to say goodbye to him along with eighty some odd more people is just plain mean and selfish, especially after the five of them have been busting their asses in the last week to put together his funeral on the time frame of the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. She's using us is what it amounts to. I'm so done with everything at this point that I'm too upset to cry or get mad about any of this anymore and once this is done I'm done with her. We were doing this for my cousins not here. This was for them.
(Sorry for the rant but this was the only place I could make it without anyone I personally know seeing it and making things even worse right now)

I know a lot of fans would think I'm weird for this, but I would rather one of two things had happened: either A) Sebastian would have turned human and adopted Ciel, or B) Sebastian would have become a Grim Reaper after Ciel died. Either one of those two options would have set better with be than the actual ending. Halfling Heroine I have to agree, the second season of the anime was both confusing and unsatisfying. At the same time though, I don't like the idea of Ciel getting his soul eaten by Sebastian. In any case I really loved the first season, that was excellent. Anolis18 No idea what's going on anymore. Anyone know what's going on? Guild wise other than the Versus thread I have no clue. Personally, I'm just a tad bit peeved at my uncle's wife (I've never considered her one of my aunts because she's not the one who gave birth to my cousins) over trying to push for his funeral to be held on such short notice all because his son is still over seas and she's trying to punish him for trying to deal with the crap in his life and set things right with his son and how that prevented him from visiting his father as he became sicker and sicker. And she's pulling the same thing with his sisters and older brother and his own daughter who's tried her hardest to keep in touch daily the last few weeks when she's been working out of Beijing. It's just a mess and I'm using this thread to vent a bit. It's hard to do these things when you have over eighty other people who all want a chance to say goodbye to him.
This could have been the one thing that just might have made my cousin in Virginia to start talking to his parents again if the services were not rushed. Now it might never happen because she's being selfish and inconsiderate of her own health. Oh well, it's not going to be my problem anymore because I have more important things to worry about and an aunt to go help this afternoon plus a sister getting her hip worked on as we speak.
Nationally, there's a building collapse in Philly and they're still looking to see if anyone else was still in the Salvation Army store at the time of the collapse.
