I listen to what Nyx has to say, but it doesn't change anything about how I feel about Willow. My philosophy? Once a traitor, always a traitor. No one earned my trust that easy, and losing it was shattering it to pieces that couldn't be put back together. The moment I hear Layla point out that we should get going, I hop to my feet and gesture to her as I speak. "I agree, let's get going," I begin to walk off again, but remembering how well things went the last time I tried to lead a group somewhere, I hesitate a bit.

I start running, and leap into the air, spreading my wings out as my speed starts to drop, and circle above the group. "I'll keep watch over you guys, and make sure their are no ambushes waiting! It'll be like playing human minesweeper!"

Everyone:
From the base of the mountain, you travel about half a mile before you reach a small forest. Irene informs you all that the Reds' scent is strong here, clearly fresh. Lyriana agrees, stating that even she can smell them. Nyx and Xaio can also smell them now. Sand-Claw and Talc report that they can see smoke rising from the center of the forest. Lyriana and her team stand at the ready: Lyriana carrying a katana, Lud holding his hammer at the ready, Talc with a pair of daggers, and the human with a bow. They await the collective decision to enter the forest.

I pull my mask out of my pouch for the first time since entering this game and put it on to cover my nose and mouth just in case (and for the hell of it). I make sure my dagger can come out easily as well since we fell into muddy water and some dirt may have gotten in there.

Willow threw her energy outwards, crawling, searching for any dead or wounded, the full beer still in her left hand, the other on the hilt of her scythe.

I walk up to the human of the other group and speak very softly as I slowly pull out my blade. "What exactly are we waiting for?"

I pull out a bow. "Well, I'll stick to the middle, gotta stay close to everyone for best effect." I say. I follow behind the frontline whenever they choose to move.

"I'm ready. Let's go." I sheath my dagger. I pull out a couple of kunai and hand them to Irene. "Stay back and out of sight. If something goes wrong and you get spotted, then run. If they go after you, use these."

I nod as the human tells me. "Makes sense..." I say just as softly, but more to myself before I follow, closer to being beside the other human. "May be bad timing," I begin to address him in the same soft tone. "But what's your name? I'm not sure I ever caught it..."
