I knew lecta had left. An elf as strongwilled as her couldn't stand being in one place too long. He also knew, that by telling her not to leave, she'd be more compelled to do so. Her muscles did need rest, but they needed to be used also...If she stayed in her bed for weeks on end, she'd end up with an atrophy on both legs. Then she might not be able to walk at all. I let her wander for a little while, and went to gather her friends. Since she was already up, i figured she might want to take us all to those springs she was talking about earlier. Me and the rest of the group met up with her wandering around the temple, obviously heeding my advice some. That was a little strange...I thought she would walk through the city. Maybe she wasn't as strongwilled as i thought...

Her ears twitched, staring back at her. Eleyyms presence made her jump. Her legs trembled beneath her weight as he suddenly appeared behind her"Oh hi..."she laughed weakly and leaned against the tree"Werre you looking for me?"she asked curiously and turned away, breathing in the wonderfull cool air of the city. She stepped across once of the bridges. Stopping at the edge of the city and stared down. The branch he had landed on before was still there from all those years ago"Want to see the branch I landed on...?".

I wasn't sure this was a good idea...She might still be emotionally sensitive, and a mental breakdown was possible if she starts reliving traumatic memories..."Maybe later,"i told her, avoiding the question,"I thought you'd like to take us all to those hotsprings you told us about earlier?". Hotsprings sounded marvelous right now. Everyone had slept well, but our muscles were still sore. Anything like a hotspring sounded like heaven...and i assumed not just to me. "Would you like to guide the way, or shall i?" i asked her. I'd been here a few months, so i knew where they were. I also didn't want to tire her out too much. But if she wanted to show us the way, i'd let her, by all means....unless she starts feeling faint. Then i'd carry her the rest of the way, and maybe take her back to the temple...

Her muscles tenced and relaxed and she looked away, letting out a shaky sigh and smiled"Sure, I will lead you guys to the Hot Springs...But its on the other side of the mountain top..."she whispered, taking a few steps back, she turned away"Hows about we go borrow a few mounts to get there...?"she asked and crossed another bridge to a giant stable. All of the riding animals werre tigers of many sorts, black and white mained lions. Black, white, purple and orange tigers"Just choose one...I may need it more then you..."she whispered and saddled up a black tiger.

I mounted a black one, unsure of what the others chose. The rest of the party wasn't the main focus of my attention. I had to make sure Lecta didn't collapse. She was my main focus right now. Learning the ways of the Stars naturally teaches one to shut things out of his mind, and concentrate on the objective. This was necessary when manipulating, and containing the power of a star. So far she was fine, and she had been getting a little bit more sure of her steps. She was still weak, but she was recovering quickly. yes, letting her out of her room was a very good idea..."Lead the way milady", i said.

She nodded slowly"Oh, you might want to hold on Draku, these run nothing like a horse does..."she warned, pulling the tigers fur lightly and it dashed forward. She rose in her saddle by a few inches. She didnt feel like staring back but she wanted to see how the others werre doing on these new mounts"I wonder if they even know how to use these..."she grumbled to herself and slowed to a walk as the fog had become thicker.

I'd never ridden a tiger in particular, but grace, and balance was something en elf learned naturally. I had no problems riding the elven tiger. The others, i wasn't sure about...The lycan druid probably didn't have too much of a problem...He might have even just run alongside one of us. But i was sure Draku would have problems. Horses were very different. Riding the tiger, i could feel his huge muscles, clenching, and releasing in long, rythmic strides. I was swaying heavily to the left and right, for unlike a horses, a tiger's shoulder bones are more pronounced, and on the top of it's body. Horses are shaped more like barrels. The only movement one would feel on a horse was up and down. The massive tiger swung me in every direction. Even as en elf i felt like a ragdoll...Poor draku...

Lecta laughed, the air had become damp and warm"You may want to slow down...!"she shouted back to the ground and sat completly in her saddle. Playing with the tigers fur, she stopped. Staring at the large mass of pool filled cliffs that came rushing down towards one large pool. The soft splish splash of water reached her ears as small waterfall like streams ran down from the cliff and to the larger spring bellow"Beautiful isnt it?"she asked, watching many strange insects fly and float around above the water"Dont mind the fish...there tiny and they will clean almost every inch of you. This spring is popular for battleworn, tired, and bashed up warriors. But...I preffer bieng here for its beauty...".

It was breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful. I'd seen it before, but it was still enchanting everytime i saw it. I stopped my tiger beside Lecta's. The falls were beautiful in form, and majestic in size, and strength. But the one thing that had me mesmerized was the smell. The smell of such a large body of running, pure water was intoxicating to me.
I wasn't sure if this was natural for all high elves, for i'd never voiced my emotions near such a natural wonder around the other elves. I though they might think me insane, or just strange. That was one of my weaknesses....not fitting in. I had no problem sticking out in a crowd. In fact, more often then not, people stared at me with wonder, and amazement. But when i was little, the others treated "odd balls" (i'd heard that term from humans in a small, secluded fishing village) poorly. I didn't want to be that oddball, and i was afraid that if the others knew about it, i would be belittled because of it. As a result, I always try to stay away from the sea. It would be better for my ego if i did.
But this situation couldn't be helped. If i left lecta, because i was uncomfortable, then something might happen without my knowing it. I knew i had no choice...I had to admit to myself that i was prideful about my position, and i often liked to think of myself as invincible. But the truth was the truth. I had my weaknesses, like everyone else. Perhaps lecta should know. As her bodygaurd, it would probably be a good idea that she knew all my weaknesses. Besides, it was only fair. I knew most of hers.....,"Lecta...", i started reluctantly...."I must tell you something",.....

Lecta stared a Eleyym. Slightly confused"What is it you would like to tell me?"she asked, slidding down off the tiger and pulled the beast over to a tree and tied him up on a branch. Running her fingures along its thick black fur, sighing she layed her head against the tigers shoulder and smiled softly"Arrent these animals beautiful?"she asked and the tigers large eyes stared at her strangely. It licked her, and she released a gasp as her feet lifted off the ground, its tongue was bigger then her torso. She was now covered in saliva"Oh gross!"she laughed and patted the top of the tigers head.

I laughed, weakly at that,"Well, i must admit something to you honestly," i said in hushed tones,"For some reason, i can't resist the smell of large bodies of water...", i told her. It was a little embarrassing, but better she knew now than later, when it could matter most. besides, no turning back now,"I don't understand why, but i've always found it...intoxicating" i hoped she might be able to help me understand this...maybe she knew if it was a weakness of all elves..And if it wasn't a weakness, what i could do to...i don't know, make it better...i hoped, and that was all i could do for the moment...

She stared at him with confused eyes and smiled"Its alright, everyones loves the smell of water...most just dont want to admit it. Its refreshing I know...Its shocking that water could have such a sweet scent to it..."she sighed and played with her hair. Dipping a toe into the water and smiled"Its warmer then the last I remember..."she whispered and untied the back of her dress"Well, lets not just stand around staring at it get in!"and with those final words. She slid the dress over her head and slid into the warm water.

her words were comforting to me, even though i was almost sure it was a weakness...But perhaps i made a bigger deal of it than i thought...Well, maybe now wasn't the time to deal with this. Following suit, i took off my clothes, and dived into the water. I loved to swim. Everytime i was under the water...it was like flying, but somehow, magical. Especially in the pure water. It was freeing. I had to laugh. This was heaven. My body hadn't taken a particularly straining journey, but being in the water was strengthening nonetheless. I was sure the others would feel wonderfully afterwards, and hopefully Lecta especially. She probably needed this the most. I felt as though i could swim for hours, so this must be doing miracles for her...

A soft groan escaped lecta's lips. Her muscles relaxed and she closed her eyes"Wonderfull..."she whispered and played with her hair. Tiny little fish swarmed around her, lightly picking at her flesh. It tickled, a laugh escaped Lecta's lips and she layed against a rock"Let the fish n** at you...your skin will feel amazing after..."she whispered and rubbed her soar ribs. The fish made the water glow many colours, green, yellow, blue, red, purple. It was like an aquatic rainbow"These are the only fish in the world that can survive these waters.

"I will not use other animals for my convinience anymore." he says and smirks. "Besides, running to the other side of the mountain would do me great exercise right now."
Exercise was not the true reason for rejecting the offer to mount a tiger. He wanted to train himself in every way no matter how simple the activity may be. This would be the first phase of his resolve to increase his over all strength and necessary contributions to the group.
Since shapeshifting required relocation of bones as new joints formed, Draku layed on the ground and commenced the process. At first, his pitch black cat hair turned black as his body mass increased and his size growing. Loud crackling of bones ehoed around him as they inserted into the joints. The cartilage cells within the joints began to form, lubricating his joints for smooth, flawless movement.
After the transformation, it seems that he had made an error once again. It was not like an elven tiger but a saber-tooth instead. Once all have mounted themselves on the unusual typr of transport, Draku followed behind. Little by little he got used to the newly found body he had obtained. Shapeshifting into this would become faster now that all data regarding it was stored into his brain permanently.
Within approximately fifteen minutes of exhausting travel, it soon paid off as they arrived at the hotspring. Surprisingly, there were no elves at the moment. It would be childish to jump in so he walked into the waters instead. It took a while for the warm water to penetrate his fur but once it did, it felt inexplicably relaxing.
