Cyrus made a mental note of the route as they headed for the group's underground base - entering through a manhole cover wasn't necessarily his best idea of fun, but seeing as though it was necessary to get into their hideout, he would keep quiet, following Fire's orders and sticking close until they exited out into a well lit open space. Here, he scanned the room, amazed that people could live so...comfortably? Underground... He turned his head at the voice, resisting the urge to go for his gun as the male stepped into view and froze. After a brief introduction, Cyrus explained that he'd come across Silver only a few times, but following the Festival he'd decided it would be best to actually help bring the Owls down - they had of course ruined his life on several occasions and it was time to put a stop to their tyranny... "My name is Cyrus Marshall." he would have offered a hand in greeting, but as Tool made his appearance, the Hunter couldn't help but stop and watch as the male crossed the room, completely oblivious to his presence... "Code Name?" he listened to the male's explanation and agreed that perhaps using a name that couldn't be traced would be an advantage... "I don't know of a code name exactly, but I was once a soldier, many years ago, then I took up bounty hunting as a profession, running odd jobs to make some money and keep things running..." Cyrus had never considered using a code name, but if he had to, perhaps it would be just simple 'Hunter'. "I think your leader is just trying to gather as many hands on deck as he can before coming up with the big plan, but he did mention something about running some scouting jobs around the other citadels under the cover of one of your comrade's florist companies?" ~*~*~ "...Heya sleepy." Jesse leant forward in her seat, brushing Tala's hair from his face as he stirred at her touch, "Dante says it's time to go...Do you think you can move?" she continued to stroke his face, still somewhat concerned for him, then drew away as he moved to sit up, "Looks like it's still weeping..." she frowned at the bloodstained bandage that ran across his chest, reaching for a fresh roll and some scissors which had been left on a crate nearby, "I'm alright..." He still ached, but the main pain had eased, "Where are we?" he looked around the room, "We're still in Omega," she moved to help as he turned, placing his feet on the floor, "Dante's arranged a lift back home though, Logir should be here shortly...Careful!" she shot to her feet as Tala moved to stand, faltering slightly, "Maybe you should wait until he's actually here before moving?""I'm fine." he looked around the room, spotting his shirt and cloak on a nearby chair, "Stay there! I'll get it." Ensuring he had sat back down on the edge of the bed, Jesse rushed to collect his things before coming back and setting them down on the side. "Did you need a hand...?" she tilted her head, unable to restrain her eyes which drifted across his pristine skin... "I..." Tala opened his mouth to answer, then closed it again, his eyes drifting over to Dante as he leant in the doorway, his arms folded across his chest, "Logir's here," he hid his smirk as Jesse jumped at his voice, "You wanna give him a hand, Jess?" he watched as she turned, her cheeks flushed pink before she dropped her gaze to the floor, "Right." nodding, she left the room with some speed, not lifting her eyes once as she passed her leader by, Dante waited until she had gone before making his way across the room, "You look a little better than when we found you," he mused, picking up the male's shirt and opening it out to make it easier to put on, "I'm guessing you were shot for your foolishness...?" he helped Tala get the shirt over his injury before picking up the male's cloak as he pulled the shirt the rest of the way over his head. "They were going to kill each other." Tala remembered the Hunt, how Ngozi had charged in like a man possessed, Cyrus wouldn't have stood a chance, not that he could have helped them... "I didn't think...""No, you didn't." Dante cut him off, "That was a pretty reckless thing you did..." his brow was furrowed, "But I admire your commitment to your friends." he held out the cloak when Tala had pulled his shirt into place, "Just promise me you won't do it again." he didn't want another irrational mind endangering the group's safety... "I can't promise that..." Tala sighed, watching as Dante moved over to his good side and slipped an arm around his back to help him to his feet, "I know."The doors were open and waiting when they reached the bottom of the stairs. Jesse would take a moment to go around and tidy up - removing any sign that they were there, before joining them in the truck. "Seemed to be a lot of guards on the gates on the way in," Logir had noted an increase of soldiers in the area since the Festival had drawn to a close and thought it only safe to inform his leader when they set off, "Could be just a precaution," Dante's mind drifted back to when Lord Dragon had held his own event, the attacker had managed to escape because the Owl's security had appeared less than effective, perhaps Lord Wolf had wanted to be more prepared? "Just don't drive like an idiot and we should be fine." he had taken his seat in the front and now leant forward, keeping an eye on the guards as they drove by towards the gates.

Leaf nodded. "That would be me. I work with the florist and I work for the electronics owner. I also have a part time work with the baker. I have a few part time jobs where I go in when called." He thought over some things and stretched. "I only suggested a code name for if anyone asked you your name if you wanted to avoid any tie into us but that's up to you. I use the code name Leaf so I can more easily use my real name out in the public at my works. Tool uses his code name because I don't want him getting into trouble or be tracked and traced to any of this via his real name."
He looked to Fire who moved to make her way to her room. "Fire...well she said it was her previous code name and she refused to change it. This is why if we do send her out it's on quick retrieving missions because she's quick. She's also the only one of us aside from Silver that has use of magic." He watched her go behind the curtain to her room. "I can only assume Lysin gave her the codename Fire and that's why she refused to officially change it once joining us when Silver found her hiding on the streets."
He looked to Cyrus listening and nodded. "That shouldn't be too hard. If we can find out what a certain citadel is low on or in need of then we can have it put in that Delta will send those supplies to the location and give us entry. But we would need to decide which one and why we're going to do that and hope Fire keeps her butt here while we're gone." He rubbed his eyes with a groan since Fire had a steady track record of never staying put when told to do so.
"But that's something for later as I assume you're hungry and or tired?" he put his hand down and stood. "We got a casserole for warm up if you'd want any." He moved to the kitchen area. "Or would you want something else? Oh and if you have any questions then ask. I'll answer them or Tool or Fire can answer."
If Cyrus wanted anything to eat or drink then Leaf would show him what they had and then point out where he could sleep, which would be Silver's room since Silver wasn't there and there wasn't another room open. If he wanted just to lay down and rest then he'd point out Silver's room.

Back in Omega, the soldiers had been stopping transports and their drivers questioned. They were looking for Tala for Lady Tigress. Lord Wolf was irritated and annoyed at someone other than him ordering his soldiers around and managed to get a couple ways out to be back to average guard levels. No way she is getting her slave after ordering my men around. I'm the Alpha here. He thought and looked to the feline like woman always at his side.
She purred as he stroked her head. "Master, would you like me to watch and act if needed?"
Lord Wolf nodded. "I don't want her getting her pet after she tried taking place as an alpha when that is me, not her." He snarled in anger, not liking someone stepping over his toes in his citadel.
"Yes my lord." She purred before moving to the balcony.
"Bring the pet and its accomplices here to the palace to me."
She nodded, grabbing a few things on what looked like key chains and she lept off the balcony, skillfully leaping down to the ground. She took off into the city, looking for anything odd and noticed a truck. She grew curious and followed after it, keeping out of sight as she watched it from the rooftops, determined to do her job as ordered by Lord Wolf, one hand messing with a little black ball that when thrown and broken would release a powerful drugged gas. It was made to knock a person and beast out in seconds once inhaled.
That was one way Lord Wolf was able to always have beasts on hand for hunting and sport.

"It would make sense," Cyrus said this in regards to the code name, "I trust you have access to something that would allow you access to what you need?" he presumed there was either a computer where he could track orders in his own workplace, or perhaps access somewhere down in the hideout? He was grateful for the offer of food, but didn't want to necessarily drain their resources on the first night, "Maybe I can pick us up something?" he welcomed the temporary use of Silver's bed, but wanted the chance to make a good impression, "Pizza or something? Save you having to cook anything?"~*~*~ "Traffic's building..." Logir exhaled a sigh, "Want me to turn around?" he looked across at Dante who was fiddling with something he'd found in the glove compartment, "There should be a way out on the next left," he lifted his eyes momentarily, then pointed in the direction of an alleyway to the left before returning his gaze to the object in his hands, They travelled a short distance before Logir was forced to come to a stop, ahead of them stood a man in a rather garish outfit, behind that man stood a squadron of soldiers. "It seems a little strange..." he stood, his arms folded, with his left hand rubbing his chin, "Everyone else is happy to be patient and leave through the main gates...yet you seem to think of yourselves as somewhat special?" he unfolded his arms, "I am maybe thinking that perhaps you are having something to hide?" he smirked, waving the soldiers forward whilst standing back to watch. "Lock the doors." Dante wound up his window, locking his own door before reaching down for a blade hidden on his calf. He knew this wouldn't stop the soldiers from gaining entry, but he hoped the reinforced windows would at least hold for the time being, "See if we can back up.""What's going on?" Jesse had chosen to sit beside Tala - partially to keep an eye on him, but also to be close enough to the weapons should something go awry, "Nothing we aren't used to..." Dante watched as Logir turned in his seat, looking out the back window as he started to reverse. "...but I suggest you buckle up." he was grateful the truck had included seatbelts for the back of the vehicle, but he would count his blessings later when they were driving home again. Stopping the truck as he shifted the gears back to forward, Logir lifted his eyes to the rear-view mirror, drawing a breath as the back door popped open and the sight of at least two soldiers moved into view, "Back Off!" Landing a hard kick to the chest of the nearest man, Jesse slid backwards in her seat as Tala leant forward, pushing the second man out by the face before pulling the door shut - the move made him wince, but as they started moving forward again, the soldier that had somehow maintained a hold gripped on for dear life as the truck sped away back the way it had come.

Leaf put away the casserole dish. "Hmm...pizza sounds good. We haven't had pizza in a long time." He nodded. "Thanks Cyrus, oh, here." He went into Silver's room and came back out with an ear piece, handing it over to Cyrus. "It's a two-way communicator in case you get lost on your way back here. The tunnels make a good maze for someone not used to them." He showed him where the touch button was to turn it on and off.
~*~*~*~
The woman watched and purred as she saw the sight, giggling as she saw two men go flying out of the truck. So they do got a toy inside~ she purred mentally as she leaned over the edge of the roof, watching the show.
A soldier went and tried to break open Dante's door before starting to slam the bud of a gun into the glass, trying to break it. Another was trying to get back into the back. If the vehicle swerved into a wall then a few would scream as they were hit and one on the side fell off, getting wounded by the tires.
She watched this of soldiers trying to stop the truck before making her move. She slipped off a black ball, strapped on a special filter mask, and threw down the first black ball as she switched the keyring around. She began scratching the glass on Dante's side of the truck, scoring it in multiple places with the occasional stab along these lines she was making.
She would keep this up while holding onto the top of the truck, determined to not be knocked off. If she could keep this up, or get Dante to open the window, she would quickly detatch another black ball and throw it, breaking it against the truck so the gas would fill the area and get into the vehicle with its knockout gas.
She wasn't about to fail or let go of what her master had ordered. If this was successful then she would crawl inside through Dante's window once they were out, or she hoped were all out, and push Logir over towards Dante before taking over driving and having the truck head towards the palace. She didn't even mind running over a few more of the guards, missing the guy who was head of them though.
If she was successful, even if she had to fight for the wheel, she would get out once back at the palace, running them inside as quick as she could. She had trouble with the two larger males though as she had found and moved Jesse and Tala first before the other two.
Lord Wolf would have instructed her to put them into one of the upper floor bedrooms towards the back of the palace where bars were on the outside of the windows, primarily for protection for anyone visiting, but they worked for detaining guests as well. He would put two guards outside the locked door and would wait until later to go see them to give them time to adjust to their luxury prison cell.
It wouldn't be until later into the evening or night that there would be a knock and the feline woman would enter with a cart that held a variety of foods and drinks for them. "Good evening~" she'd purr with the door closing behind her and locking. "How did you all rest?" she'd wait for an answer before moving the cart to a table. "Lord Wolf has said to bring you all some food. He'll be meeting with you in the morning."

Cyrus nodded and took the device, attaching it before giving it a test to make sure all worked well. "So I just go back the way I came...right?" it felt a little strange to be leaving so soon after arriving, but if it was to gain their confidence in him, The Hunter knew he had to start somewhere. "Any preferences?" he didn't fancy asking the group when he arrived at the store as talking to himself would seem rather...awkward? He would listen to their order, noting it down before retracing his steps back the way he had come. From here, he would make his way up the street, careful to draw as little attention to himself before finally locating the store he'd seen earlier. Placing the order - along with several dips and sides, he purchased a bag that would keep it all warm before making the journey back towards the hideout's entrance... ~*~*~ Dante recoiled as the window cracked, the pane holding strong, but now in a shattered spiderweb shape due to its reinforcement, further impact would surely cause it to cave in, so he leant over, gripping the edge of the steering wheel and forcing the truck to swerve violently - He made sure not to crush anyone, it would be foolish to work for one Owl and kill the guards of another...but the men were determined... The sound of the impact on the top of the truck made Logir more determined and he twisted down another street, spinning the truck in a full circle before bringing it to a stop as he moved to put it back into gear. At this point, the window caved in - a strange scent filled the air and Jesse suddenly lunged for Tala, jerking the handle on the back door before pushing him out. She drew it back before collapsing on the floor of the truck - unconscious. Having not expected to have been thrown from the vehicle, Tala rolled, then turned, looking up as the figure which had been on top of their vehicle, clambered its way in through the now shattered window and started up the engine. Having drawn a breath as Jesse had shoved him out of the back door, Tala was left feeling quite dizzy... He would try to rise, but ended up watching as the truck drove away, taking aim for a few soldiers as it disappeared out of sight... Eventually, he would take on his wolf form; resembling that of a large, black dog-like beast, he staggered towards the nearest alleyway, slumping down just inside an overturned cardboard box before passing out from the influence... ~*~*~ Jesse had been the second of the trio to awaken, her head felt heavy and her eyes scanned the room dazedly, but eventually, she would make out a shape, holding her head as she began to hear the sound of Logir's snoring... "...Where are we?" Her eyes would come to rest upon Dante who had seated himself on the windowsill, looking out through the bars, "I would presume we're prisoners of the City's Resident Owl, Lord Wolf..." Dante had awoken at least half an hour before her and had already tried the doors, finding them locked tight... "There's no way out, I've already tried."Jesse dropped her eyes, then cast a sudden glance around the room, One, Two...she then counted herself... There we only three of them, she relaxed a little when she realised that Tala had made it out...Or had he? It had all happened so quickly... She remembered pushing him out of the back of the vehicle and shutting the door, but didn't recall anything after that... They sat in silence...well, as silent as they could be whilst ignoring Logir's snoring... Eventually, the large male would awaken, but once Dante had said there was no means of escape, he'd relocated to a chair and table in the corner and fallen asleep again - why waste precious energy when you can conserve it for later? Dante would remain seated upon the windowsill, looking out at the world well after it had gotten dark, he'd drawn a knee up to his chest and had pulled up his hood, trying to catch a few Z's himself before turning his head as the sound of the door unlocking reached his ears. All three were stunned to see the feline with the food trolley entering as though they were staying in a fancy hotel... Immediately, Jesse felt her stomach grumble - how long had they been there? The sight of the layout, along with the variety of drinks "I'm sure his Lordship has a reason for detaining us in such...admirable quarters?" Dante also felt tempted by the niceties that the feline humanoid had brought in, but it was Logir who rose from his seat and took the first step towards the table once it was set. "I vaguely recall seeing your vision earlier, if I'm not mistaken?" he tilted his head, watching as Logir cast the feline a questioning look - as though asking permission - before reaching out for something sweet on the platter...

Leaf told him what each liked and nodded. "Yup just go out the way you came." He put away the container and went to tell Tool and Fire about Cyrus going to get them pizza. Tool was confused and asked about who Cyrus was so Leaf explained. Tool then stayed up as Fire asked to be woken once he was back.
When he would return Tool would make his way up to Cyrus once the food would be set down. "Hello, I'm Tool." He offers a hand. "Sorry I didn't say hi before, I didn't notice you." He felt bad for being so rude after it was brought to his attention.
Leaf would look towards Fire's curtain. "Fire, food's here." This would get her attention as he got down four plates. Tool began to fix his plate once he was able to, anxious for pizza since Leaf didn't treat much to it.
~*~*~*~
The feline humanoid listened and nodded to Logir to indicate it was fine to start eating what he wished. She then looked to Dante with an innocent smile. "Yes, my Lordship does have his reasons and he wanted to treat those who had Lady Tigress's attention to luxury. He was angry at Lady Tigress dominating his territory so he wanted to meet the ones she wanted so badly, especially one she called pet."
She looked around the room and tilted her head slightly. "I thought I had seen movement of four not of simply three." She blinked trying to figure it out. "I guess my friends haven't found the missing one I saw move inside your truck." She sighed with her arms lightly folding in front of her waist. She looked to Dante again and nodded. "Yes, you had. My name is Gloria, at your service." She gave a polite bow with one arm going behind her back as the other went across her waist and angled up towards her chest.
She stood upright and motioned to him with her hand. "And your names, if you please for my Lordship? Perhaps even the one my friends hunt for that I somehow had missed in bringing you all here?"
~*~*~*~
During this, outside there were two other females searching with the same level of feline reflex's looking for another human. They were looking for any human who wasn't common to the citadel. They kept searching, ignoring the black dog as they thought their target would be in a human form, not thinking about him being a shapeshifter.

Cyrus hadn't been overly distressed at Tool's initial ignorance of him - he'd grown quite used to being overlooked, having never really aimed to be in the limelight which was why he took no offence, shaking the male's hand when offered before seeing if Leaf required any assistance. He would subtly observe the group whilst they dug into their meal, wondering what he was getting himself into, but at the same time, admiring the little family feeling they displayed. He also partook in the meal, helping himself to a selection of things he'd brought back before deciding to start up a conversation, "So how long have you guys lived like this?" he was curious, taking a bite of pizza before having a sip of one of the drinks. ~*~*~ Jesse felt guilty almost instantly at the realisation that she'd perhaps kept Tala from a good meal and a decent place to rest...he had experienced quite a beating after all, so to cast him out into the streets - even though she thought she was saving him, left her feeling quite bad for her actions... "I would understand his decision completely," Dante nodded, noting the sudden look of guilt that flashed across Jesse's face when she realised the female was perhaps acting on the heir of preservation for her master, rather than incarceration without reason... "I would be upset too, if someone entered into my territory and started making demands without first asking my permission." he knew how the wild wolf packs worked and for Tigress to enter The Owl's Own Citadel after being invited and then - he presumed - order Lord Wolf's own guards to hunt down her 'Pet' ...that could really cheese a guy off... "We would have probably come without the need to knock us out though... Yes, we were in trouble, but an offer of assistance in such a sticky situation wouldn't necessarily have been declined..." he gave the feline a smile, then glanced across to Jesse who had spent the last few minutes with her gaze on the floor in thought, "Get yourself something to eat, Jess," he would introduce them accordingly, "...I'm not hungry." she felt terrible, then as quickly as her realisation of what she'd done, she narrowed her eyes, wondering if perhaps it was all a ruse? Something to draw them in? They had been locked in a room for several hours after all... She cast a glance around the room, then slid from where she'd been sat and approached the food. Dante chuckled and rolled his eyes, then looked back to Gloria, "With the wound he sustained during the Festival, I'm sure our comrade, the lad you're looking for might just perhaps head for a place of healing?" He wasn't aware that would be the very last place Tala would seek out, but still, "His name is Tala, but I'm afraid he's not been with us long enough, so there is little more I can tell you about him..."~*~*~ It would be dark by the time Tala eventually came round, he stretched whilst lying down, then lifted his head and gave a yawn... Rising to his feet, he would cast a glance around the alleyway, his ears twitching with all the sounds that came with Lord Wolf's city... With another yawn, he would shake the sleep from his fur - his shoulder wound healed up and showing no sign of being damaged in any way. Padding towards the entrance to the alley, he sniffed the air, curious for all the scents and sounds, yet somewhat reserved when he recalled all the soldiers and the fact Filous had been sent out to find him... He stepped out into the street, taking his time whilst being vigilant of the world around him as he went. His ears would twist in all directions, to his left the sound of a generator ticking over, his right, a small group of men as they made their way from one pub to the next - singing jovially, yet well in their cups... Shaking his head, Tala continued on, his nose to the ground as he tried to pick up any familiar scents. He would tense at the sound of movement, picking up the scent of feline as a pair of females moved stealthily down the street; there might have been an inkling of a glance in his direction, but it became clear they were searching for something else as they moved away without so much as a step towards him. There was no telling where the trio had been taken, their assailant had acted swiftly and made their attack during the initial onslaught from Filous and Lord Wolf's men... Lord Wolf... He paused in mid-step as a thought occurred to him... Clearly Lady Tigress was hunting for him, yet this was not her land to do so... Perhaps there was a chance he might seek an audience with the man and in that request, ask him for sanctuary? Sure, it had been a challenge to convince the Alpha in his own territory that he was friend, not foe, yet if the man thought like the pack which had allowed him to join their ranks when Cyrus was away, then perhaps he could...? He shook his head, deeming it a foolish idea before carrying on...it would stay in his mind however for quite a long time, until eventually he turned towards the road that would lead him up to the Owl's Castle. The guards all turned their gaze towards him as he advanced - it was more than a little strange to see such a creature - with whom Lord Wolf shared an alias - striding with some outlandish confidence towards the castle doors... "Stop right there!" Astounded that his comrades had made no move to challenge the creature, one of the Sentry on the door finally took the decision to act and turned the tip of his halberd down towards the wolf as it advanced, "You shall go no further." his associate looked on, then leant towards his comrade's ear, "There is a Wolf, at Lord Wolf's Door." he whispered, "Surely you are mad for challenging such a phenomenon?""What do you mean?" the guard frowned, "It's not like there's a prophecy or anything!""Whose to say there isn't?! Look at his coat! It's black as the night!" the second guard hissed, "Lower your blade, else you might bring a curse of the Devil himself upon us!"This seemed to inspire some thought in the man and eventually he lifted his halberd so it was no longer pointing, blade first at the wolf, he then scowled in the creature's direction, taking a step aside as the doors opened behind him. "His Lordship is busy at this moment," the second guard was almost certain the Owl would be sleeping, "You may have to wait until morning for an audience..." he glanced away, "...Look at me...talking to a wolf... You probably can't even understand me, can you boy?" he reached out, withdrawing his hand swiftly as Tala drew his lips back into a snarl, "I'll send someone to check..." he looked to another guard to keep watch before disappearing off in search of one of the servants... He'd made it through the doorway, even if he had unnerved a few guards in the process...but he still couldn't shift that uneasy feeling in the back of his mind... Sitting in the foyer he wrapped his tail around his legs before waiting patiently to be told what would happen next...

When Leaf and Fire sat down with their food and drinks, Fire chomping down on a bread stick, Leaf swallowed before answering. "Tool and I have been down here for maybe a few years or so. I kind of forgot. We were with Silver before Fire joined us."
Viola nodded to Cyrus. "I have been with them for a good few years. They found me in mutby teens I think it was or somewhere around there." She takes another bite.
Tool nods. "She's also been the most fun for me. I get so much fun to craft her special bullets to help her fire and ice magic." He got a mouth full of pizza. "Oh yea, Fire, I got you a new gun and I even made up a new pair of daggers with a better grip. You could also put your magic through them."
Leaf sighed. "Tool, manners." He groaned.
Tool swallowed. "Sorry, I wanted to tell her before I forgot."
Fire grinned at this news and made a motion by bringing her fist up then down to herself. "Yes! No way Creed is going to be able to keep my necklace now once I find his butt." She roughly finished her bread stick with thoughts of taking Creed down to get her necklace back if she could find him.
~*~*~*~*~
At Omega, Gloria nodded as she listened to Dante then looked to Jesse, taking in her behavior. "I take it then Tala was with your group but Jess had caused me to miss him?" she questioned and approached Jesse, gently touching her cheek. "You should hope we find him before Lady Tigress does if he is the 'pet' she technically referring to and I doubt you or your friends were ever her 'pet'."
Gloria looked to Dante again with a playful grin. "Well I wasn't to know this now could I? For all I knew if I told you I wanted you to come back with me, you could have agreed then declined and turned on me after you were safe from Lady Tigress's man and those obeying her over Lord Wolf." She countered with before gently folding her arms behind her back.
"Can I ask what Tala was doing with you all if he is considered property of Lady Tigress?"
~*~*~*~*~
Elsewhere in the castle, a couple servants made their way down the hall with a boy, the son to the servant with blond and brown hair. They were unaware of the wolf as they their way to meet the boy's father that was on duty for him to say night. They passed through the foyer, not taking notice of Tala or at least the servant's didn't.
The boy looked over curious as he looked to be around eight or ten. He slipped from his mother's hand and made his way to Tala. "Hello, how'd you get in?" He reached out and if he could would pet Tala's head. "You're so pretty. Are you part of his Lordships pack?"
The mother looked over and was shocked with a gasp. "A wolf? Here?"
"Maybe this is a sign that Aphelia is mending and that Lord Wolf will be the main guiding light to the recovery." The other woman said hopeful.
"Are you even sure?"
The woman nodded. "My mother sang a song that went...'At the time of the darkest night~ the sky shall birth a child~ neither way will see, the salvation it brings~ the obstacles fall standing in the way of the light~" She sang sweetly in a soft voice.
The boy listened, humming along. "Should we go wake Lord Wolf?"
The woman looked to a watch she pulled out. "He might be up. He tends to rest for maybe two or three hours then wakes for a bit before going back to bed. I swear, at times I think he is part wolf like Gloria and her two friends are like a human felines."
The boy looked to Tala, moving to pet him again. "Do you want to come with us to Lord Wolf?" he asked with a off angle grin which showed a missing tooth.
If someone was found and sent, Lord Wolf would be up and would allow entry. "What is it?" he would grumble, scratching his head. He would listen and when he'd hear about a wolf showing up, his interest would be perked. "A wolf? Show me to this wolf." He would quickly get a robe on so his chest would have coverage as he rested in only pants and would follow the servant out to where Tala was left to wait.
If this happened then he would arrive before the trio could lead Tala to him and would clear his throat, causing the three to look up. "Good evening your Lordship." Both women said with a proper curtsy.
The boy bowed at the waist. "Good evening your Lordship." He said properly as he was taught.
Lord Wolf nodded and looked at Tala, examining him and definitely gave off the energy of an alpha. "Come with me and let us speak in private about your quarters you will be needing for your stay and from what you need shelter from." His tone was strong but had a kindness towards it to show Tala he was welcomed in his home amongst his staff.
He would make sure Tala followed before leading the way back to his chambers, not mentioning the others. He would lead the way and let Tala enter his chamber first before following after the wolf and close the door behind them. "You must be the one Tigress has been searching for?" he inquired while moving over and sat down in a seat that sat across from a sofa. "You know I hate her because she began ordering my guards, my pack and they obeyed her over me." He would explain with annoyance in his voice, clearly disliking how she stomped in on his turf and took somewhat control at least over a few of his guards.
He took a breath and released it. "Tell me your name and to whom you need shelter from as well as about yourself, if you could. I like to know who I'm trusting into my pack circle."

Cyrus listened with great interest as the group talked briefly about their lives before and then down in the tunnels; Having spent several years living in the Wilderness he felt a little sorry for them having to hide below ground, but knew not everyone had been as privileged as he for being able to escape the citadel and make a living outside its perimeters. "Sounds like you know your way around a forge then?" the Hunter found himself quite interested as he'd been one to enjoy working with his hands, tinkering with bits and bobs in his spare time, making small model creations with working parts and even forging the occasional weapons in the furnace out back, "I like to make the odd improvements to things when I have the time, I even had a forge back home and spent a good few hours making weapons when I wasn't tending the crops..." normally he wouldn't have been so confident in speaking about himself, but there was something about the group that left him feeling comfortable to talk in their presence... He raised an eyebrow at the mention of Creed's name, it wasn't like the scientist to steal something from someone without reason, "What's that Crazy Fool been up to this time?" he knew what the man was capable of, but was as of yet unaware that Skylar had taken Fire prisoner and relieved her of her memorable items... ~*~*~ Dante chuckled, finding amusement in her playfulness, "I'm guessing it was all in the heat of the moment, Jesse had probably just wanted to protect him when it looked like we were caught...I think she's rather fond of him!" he whispered this, but promptly received a bread roll to the back of the head as she overheard him. "Heheh..." "Dante brought him home a little while ago, found him living in a hovel with some old guy and picked him up whilst wandering the streets, we decided to put him up someplace safe, he's still learning the ropes though.""That old guy was the same one he tried to save from that Monster during the festival." Dante glanced with narrowed eyes in Logir's direction, "There must be something between them for him to care that much...either way, I'm getting off subject." he cleared his throat, "I actually had no idea he was considered property of Lady Tigress," he couldn't help but be honest here as he'd originally found the youth - like Logir had said - living in a run-down building with the Hunter, "I can only think he's forgotten he belongs to her, or perhaps he's escaped and is trying to keep a low profile..." he couldn't think, but had never considered Tala had been ever such a thing... ~*~*~ Tala's ears had twitched at the sound and he'd turned his head as the servants advanced, it was as the youth broke from the group and approached that his ears flicked back. He wasn't overly comfortable with younglings, but when the boy spoke, Tala seemed to settle, showing a completely different attitude compared to how he'd have reacted if one of the servants had advanced... "Not yet..." Tala's voice would be heard only by the boy, because that was what he wished. He didn't dislike the petting and even leant his head into the youth's hand before giving a brief wag of his tail as the boy asked if he wanted to see Lord Wolf. With the guard making his appearance after having fetched the Owl, Tala would sit quietly as the group bowed to their Lordship before following the man when prompted. Before he left, he would make sure to bow his head respectfully to the youth who had shown him consideration, then make his way past the guard, drawing his teeth back, but resisting the urge to let out a growl to sway the man's decision if he attempted to pet him again... Once they were safely within Lord Wolf's chambers, Tala would sit in the centre of the floor, waiting patiently for the Owl to take his seat before allowing him the opportunity to see him rise up onto his hind legs and return to his human form... "My name is Tala and I am grateful for your audience at such an hour..." he bowed, keeping his eyes averted slightly so not to offend the Alpha "You are indeed correct in suspecting that Lady Tigress has been searching for me...and although I have not been considered her Pet for long, she seems to think of me as something worth pursuing...so much that she has clearly stepped over the boundaries of your gracious welcome into Omega..." he had complete respect for how irked Lord Wolf had been to have his Own Pack controlled by someone not even of his nation and wanted to make the best impression he could, "I humbly request sanctuary from her Ladyship for fear of what she may do if I were to fall into her hands again..." If requested, Tala would explain that he had been forcibly separated from his guardian after an unprovoked attack on their home in the Wilds, then, he'd been given as a gift to Lady Tigress by one of her Generals who had passed him on to one of her allies who had acted as a disciplinarian and literally beaten him into submission before returning the youth into her ownership... By this time, had he been prompted to continue, he would take a seat in the centre of the floor, his legs crossed as he explained how he had been 'dressed up' by Filous - her aide and then used as a showpiece before being ordered to fight for the amusement of the public during Lord Dragon's masquerade... The rest of that particular tale would be a little fuzzy as that was when he'd come into contact with Ngozi, but he would not speak of the man-mountain, instead choosing to continue with the subject at hand, when he had run into Lady Tigress in the closing events of the Hunt and she had offered to forget the past and start anew before trying to capture him, ordering Lord Wolf's own guards in an attempt to detain him... "So you see, Sire, I have no wish to be forcefully tamed against my will again; as far as my memories stretch, I was raised in the Wilderness and hope to one day return to the Outlands where the wolves run free..." he rose to his feet again, careful to maintain a respectable standing so the Lord would take no offence or feel threatened by any strange movements, "These are dreams for the future however, and I do not expect to be freely accepted into your Pack, rather, I am willing to prove myself and earn the place that you have so graciously offered..."He would remain silent with his gaze low as Lord Wolf appeared to consider his proposal. Having attempted to join other packs in the Wilderness, Tala knew that respect was key and that one could find themselves savagely beaten and chased from the territory if they were to put a paw wrong in the final moments...

Tool and they listened and he nodded smiling. "Yes, I even know my way with a 3D printer as well!" he says proudly. "I've made the tech you see here with a little help from Leaf but mostly just me. I even came up with these lights that are charged by lightning." He reached into his pocket to pull one out he had repaired recently and offered it to Cyrus to show him. "I use anything we can get a hold of from the military or the citizens that have thrown something away."
Fire nodded. "He's always done great at repairing my blades and pistol."
Tool took a bite of food and swallowed before speaking. "You wanna see some of my other creations after we eat?" he quickly asked, excited to have another crafter in their family group.
Fire frowned and suppressed a growl. "That crazy idiot managed to outsmart me, capture me into a cabinet thing, left me exhausted to be then captured by Ritzu and on top of that, he stole my property." She snapped with her eyes closed and anger clear on her face and in her tense body. "That filthy...." she took a deep breath, opening her eyes. "He's going to pay for capturing me, taunting me, stealing my personal belongings and even taking one of those with him."
She would wait to see if a response came before she would continue. "He stole a necklace that is dear to me. It has engraved on both sides a saying my parents used to use to describe their love for the other." She looked down at the table sadly yet still had a hot dangerous fire to her eyes. "I'll teach him to not touch or take my things. I don't have many things to remember my parents or Lysin and I'll be danged if I allow him to keep anything that's mine from my family."
Viola set her eyes narrowed on Cyrus. "Where is he? Where is he hiding so I can go and break his face until I get my necklace back."
Leaf frowned at her. "No violence at the table and no planning to go out and cause violence for something small that shouldn't require violence to retrieve."
"....You don't understand...." Viola grumbled as she turned her gaze down, taking a bite of pizza that she tucked away to be able to speak. "...I'm sorry for the threats..." she mumbled before resuming chewing and her slice of pizza.
~*~*~*~*~
Gloria nodded, listening and watched the trio. She laughed giggling behind a hand as Dante got a swift hit by the bread roll. "Are you three related at all? You all seem to behave like siblings." She listened about Tala and Tigress then nodded. "I do not blame him for not wanting to be a pet if he was forced into it. I may be a feline humanoid but Lord Wolf doesn't treat me as some lowly pet to be entertainment or anything that a pet is for."
She reached up and messed with one ear. "He could easily enslave me but he's never once called me his pet and has always been respectful towards me and those like me." Her ears twitched a little. "I bet he had escaped her and was trying to keep a low profile. If he forgot he was her pet I don't think she would have invaded Lord Wolf's pack the way she did by ordering the guards to obey her just to find her pet." She theorized.
~*~*~*~*~
Lord Wolf listened closely to Tala and would watch as he changed back to his human form. He was impressed by this but kept the shock from his face. He hadn't seen a shapeshifter before now and it was impressive to him that someone could have that kind of skill. He nodded in agreement to Tala's statement about how Tigress viewed the youth, snorting at the thought of how she did invade his pack.
"I have no doubt she would take possibly drastic action to punish you for your miss-actions towards her...as she'd call it generosity." He would pause pondering then motioned with his hand. "So tell me about how you became her pet." He inquired as he wanted to know more or as much as he could about the youth he was going to allow to stay.
He would listen closely and consider all this information as well. He was impressed that Tala had the respect to not expect immediate acceptance. He pondered softly before eventually nodding. "You will begin as an Omega and once I see fit you will be advanced to Delta. If you can prove well to earn my trust you might earn your spot as my Beta." He motioned around the room. "As you can see, none have proven to me they are worthy of being my Beta and it annoys me, maybe I just have too high of standards in my pack but it has made things run smoothly. It also has earned the people's trust that they are safe in Omega."
He stood and approached Tala. "You have sanctuary in my castle and you are not allowed to be touched by her or any pack members who have decided to switch who they call alpha. Those who did switch will be demoted in the pack ranks and kept away from you. The last I wish is for a new incoming member to be kidnapped under my nose."
He would look to the doors. "Send for Crystal!" he ordered and there was shuffling as those guarding his room moved and one left to find the servant named Crystal. Lord Wolf turned his attention back to Tala. "Crystal is one I trust most but has not shown to me she can be a Beta. I trust her most to help in you adjusting and learning the ropes of tending to the castle with the other Omega ranks. Oh, I almost forgot."
Lord Wolf made his way over to a vanity, opened a drawer and looked through it. He would come back with a special looking bracelet with the city's insignia etched onto it. "This is something I had crafted special in the past when another came seeking refuge. He stayed but left once the one he was seeking came to light. He returned it and left," he sighed. "I heard he died later on after he was found by those he sought to hide from." He offered the bracelet to Tala. "Wear this and no one should touch you. If anyone does then they will have trouble come their way."
He had a protective growl to his voice as he promised this. If Tala accepted then he would show him the unique way to unlock the bracelet. It would take two fingers on the outside, one on the inside, and one on the side to all press together on and around the engraving. It was a hidden well to make it appear to be one that can be slipped on and off, but this wasn't the case as it could be adjusted for size before relocking once around the person's wrist.
When there would be a knock he would order they enter when he knew it was Crystal. "Welcome, I hope you weren't sleeping too deeply but anyways, this is our newest Omega. His name is Tala and he's to not leave the castle grounds without me present with him." When or if asked why then Lord Wolf would continue to explain. "I have granted him sanctuary here from Lady Tigress and those who seek to aid her in her temper tantrum. No one waltzes in and orders anyone of my pack around, not in my citadel and those who turned to obey her over me will be demoted by morning. I will entrust you or Helia will ensure they are forced to do the cleaning jobs for a good while?"
He would be quiet and let her answer as well as watch the pair so they could get introduced. "Crystal will show you to a room and will get you a uniform so you blend in with the other Omega's." He looked to Crystal now. "No one is to harm or lay a hand on him without my being notified before. I will not have someone granted protection be harmed where they should be safe."
He would be quiet and listen and would answer any other questions from Tala and Crystal, maintaining the alpha positioning he had and that. When the questions or comments were done involving him, he would dismiss them both for the night. "Your work starts early in the morning. Get as much rest as you can. I hope you do not make me regret this or disappoint me in seeing how well you do in our pack." He nodded his head to Tala and would stay put until he saw them leave and would go to look outside, looking up to the bright moon.

"You will have to show me," Cyrus had never considered or perhaps even heard of a 3D printer, so he was quite interested in what Tool would have to show him after they had eaten. Once the subject had passed, he would then listen as Fire growled about how Creed had treated her and taken her things before leaving her as a gift for someone else... "Sounds like he hasn't changed..." he frowned remembering the battle back at home when Skylar had attempted to examine Tala without the youth's permission... "May I ask what he stole?" He was curious and listened when she went into detail about the necklace Creed had taken, "I'd like to think he perhaps took it to keep it safe...but to be honest, Skylar's mind is like a bag of cats...you never know what he's going to do next..."He was a little taken back when Viola suddenly started interrogating him, but relaxed as Leaf stepped in to settle her down, "I can understand your wish to...do him harm? But like your comrade said, violence isn't always the answer..." he'd learnt that himself, "You don't need to apologise, but unfortunately he's as elusive as my young friend...Perhaps if our paths do cross, I might just pursue that necklace for you?" He didn't doubt he'd run into that man again someday, but if it gave Fire any solace, then he was happy to offer his help... ~*~*~ "Nope, we're not related, but I guess if you live with people long enough, you learn to work together," he smiled, glancing across his comrades before back towards Gloria, "If you don't mind me saying, Lord Wolf is certainly beginning to seem much more tolerable and pleasant than a lot of us have been led to believe," he had his initial suspicions, but hearing how he seemed to control more through respect, rather than force made the man more admirable, "I dare say, she probably wouldn't have tried such a stunt had it not been for the extra guards placed on duty for the Festival," Logir decided to rejoin the conversation, having eaten his fill for the time being, "She's a scary Lady, so I would think that unless they willingly chose to pick a side, they perhaps only followed orders for fear of their own lives...? That and there were maybe more of them to stay behind and maintain guard whilst the others searched?" Logir always sought the best in people, which often left him putting too much trust in others, but there was no telling if he was right, or wrong in situation and so he gave his speculative views and returned his attention to the food. "Either way, it's imperative we find him..." Dante breathed a sigh, "You said we will be taking an audience with Lord Wolf in the morning, right?" he tilted his head, "Then perhaps it's best that we catch some shut-eye so we're bright and refreshed for the day ahead." this earned a quiet grumble from Jesse who was used to staying up late, but as Dante was her Leader, she wasn't going to question his suggestion and pocketed an extra roll before returning to the bed she had awoken upon. ~*~*~ "Your have my gratitude," Tala was more than grateful at Lord Wolf's granting of sanctuary, flinching subtly as the man suddenly gave a shout in summons for Crystal, he tilted his head with interest as Lord Wolf crossed the room, rifling through the drawers before returning with the bracelet; he raised his gaze towards the object, lifting a hand close enough to touch, then drawing it back, remembering whom he was with; when offered however, he would take it, listening to the man's instruction before placing the bracelet upon his wrist. It was a secure fit, but wasn't tight and allowed him free movement - so much that one would almost forget it was there. Tala would turn at the sound of someone knocking upon the door and would bow his head when he was introduced, offering a hand in greeting before returning his attention to Lord Wolf as he spoke again. There weren't that many questions to ask as he deemed himself lucky to have been accepted at all, but Tala was grateful to know that nobody would be allowed to lay an ill hand upon him without first gaining permission from Lord Wolf himself - having taken on the role before, Tala knew that naturally the Omega was the peacemaker of the pack, often picked upon to relive the stress of those ranking above them... So unless he put a foot wrong, then he was almost safe from the natural bullying that would come with the role. "You have my thanks, Sire, I will try my best not to let you down." Tala would then take his leave, following behind Crystal as she led the way to where his room would be located. He hadn't expected more than a bed and a table and would be grateful for anything else that would be provided, he would also take the time to listen to anything else Crystal had to tell him before bowing his head and closing the door as she took her leave. Removing his cloak, Tala would set it down on the chair, running a hand across the soft sheets of the bed before lifting his wrist to inspect the bracelet. He was curious, but chose not to pry and instead, removed his footwear and prepared himself for bed.

Fire thought about his offer before looking to Leaf who nodded and, after some moments of reluctance, she swallowed and finished her pizza slice as she nodded. "Alright, if you can find him then get my necklace back. I managed to find my other personal belongings before I tried to run only to be caught by Ritzu, I recall him calling someone and it must have been her before I lost consciousness."
Leaf sighed. "She had been playing a game of 'catch me if you can' with him by leaving him mocking presents after she'd manage to steal any good items he would leave out to draw her in. She got too cocky and that lead to her downfall but we're glad she's back now."
"Yea and to think we were worried after all that stuff Leaf said he heard Creed saying to her while she was detained." Tool chimed in before taking a drink.
If it was questioned then Leaf would explain what he had made out when Creed was talking to Fire after she had turned on her ear piece on accident while under his capture. "So...you can see why I was worried before and if you know the woman Ritzu then why we were even more afraid for Fire's safety. Also because we feared they had learned about what she did a while back."
~*~*~*~*~
Gloria would nodded in agreement. "Yes but Lord Wolf had to use extra guards after what happened to Lord Dragon who simply had the standard security measures in place. He wanted to make sure the killer didn't come and claim his life or another life during the festival."
When they were done eating and drinking she would pick up the dishes onto the trolly and nod to them. "I'll come to get you all in the morning when Lord Wolf is ready to meet with you. I hope you rest well and don't worry, your truck is in storage below the castle and being repaired."
She would then leave with the dishes and knock. "Open for me." She said and the guards unlocked and opened the door. She exited and the doors were closed and locked once more.
~*~*~*~*~
Crystal lead Tala to a simple yet nice room, pushing back some brown locks. "I will come get you in the morning and you will help me with the daily routine to help the others have a smoother start." She curtsied to him. "I hope you rest well. Your new clothing can be found in the drawer. I hope they are the right size or close to it. If the uniform isn't right then let me know and I'll ask someone to adjust it for you later."
She would curtsy again before starting out. "Oh, my room is across the hall down two doors on the right if you need anything, don't be afraid to come ask." She then gave a soft smile before leaving, closing the door behind her softly and shuffled off to her room to also get ready for bed and rest.
~*~*~*~
It wouldn't be until hours later, roughly just before dawn broke that a soft knock would come to Tala's door. "Tala?" Crystal whispered through the door softly so not to disturb anyone else that was scheduled to get up once the sun was rising or seeable. "Time to wake up." She tried to rouse the youth, not wanting to step inside and invade his privacy.
She would stay put, waiting and listening to see if she heard him. If she heard movement then she would wait but if not then she would knock again before slowly opening the door a crack. "I'm coming inside to see if you're awake." She would whisper if she entered with a hand up to shield her eyes from any sight she might not wish to see, just in case as she had once walked in on a male in changing at the wrong time. She didn't want to recreate that moment.
If Tala was getting ready and she waited then she would greet him once he opened his own door instead of going inside to wake him and then wait outside for him to change. "Morning, I hope you slept well and are ready to begin." She was in her servant uniform which was a knee length black and white dress. Males wore similar suits to what one might see a butler in yet they were no more classy up than the maid like dress the women had to wear that were Omega's.
She would lead him down the hall and to the kitchen where they would begin. Crystal turned on the lights that were bright enough to see yet dim enough to not cause anyone a disturbance since a couple cooks slept near the kitchen with doors cracked open. She made her way over to the storage and took down a clipboard. "First we take the inventory for the cooks so they know when they wake how much of everything they have. This also lets us keep things up to stock more regularly."
Her voice was soft and showed Tala the multipaged checklist. "Would you like to check and count then I take note or would you like to take note as I count and check?"
If he wanted the clipboard she would give him it and ask for what was first, second, and so on down the lists. Each time he said an item she would search, count and tell him if it was in stock or not and how many was there if it was in stock. This would take a bit of time and when it would be finished she would take out another board from a side shelf and write down anything that was low or out of stock so they could go shopping later if told to by the cook.
"Now we do checks on the cleaning supplies and check the laundry to make sure all beddings are fresh, as well as ensure no laundry is left sitting around to smell from the previous night." Crystal lead the way and would enjoy the help while showing Tala the ropes of what it was he would be helping do in the castle.
~*~*~*~*~
Lord Wolf would not wake until it was closer to 8am or 9am to get washed up and ready for the day. The cooks started breakfast around 8:30am and the smell of the meals being prepared for workers and residents and guests alike would trail into some area's of the castle via the ventilation shafts.
Gloria would come to Lord Wolf as he was getting his hair brushed and fixed for the day while pulling on an open jacket over his shirt. "Good morning my Lordship. How are you? You slept well?"
He looked to her nodding. "I did, thank you Gloria. I take our guests slept well?"
She nodded. "I can only imagine so. I have not yet went to wake them. Would you like me to and take them breakfast?"
Lord Wolf was quiet, thinking some before shaking his head. "Set up a private spread for I and our guests. I wish to have a private breakfast with them in the dining study that is by the second library on the second floor."
Gloria nodded smiling. "Oh that will be a nice spot. I'll have the cooks know this and I'll set it all up before fetching them." She curtsied and left to go get this done. She would only go to their room some time after 9:30am to knock and was allowed into the trio's room. "Good morning~" she greeted cheerfully with her feline ears twitching happily. "How did you all rest? Breakfast is ready and I am to show you to where you will eat and meet with his Lordship."
When they were ready she would lead the way with the two guards following behind them, just in case. When they would come to the room she would open the french doors and lead them inside the decent sized room. It had a few bookshelves, a couple sofa, some chairs, side tables, and the main table where a lovely array of food with three drink options were on ice to keep cold. "You may sit where you wish and Lord Wolf will be in shortly."
She would leave when done and it would be a few minutes after that the doors opened again, Lord Wolf entering and looking to the three. "Welcome to my home. You have enjoyed your stay, yes?" he questioned while coming to the table, got his plate and got himself some breakfast. "I thought we could speak over food as I'm sure you have questions due to the way you were brought here yesterday after the festival." He took his seat and would then wait for any questions or statements before he would respond, getting a bite of food as he would listen to them.

Cyrus breathed a sigh, "Creed's always been a character... If he can get someone else to do the dirty work for him, he'll let'em." He listened when Leaf explained how Viola had played a game of chicken with the man before he finally caught her - Creed was the type of guy you could only fool so many times before he worked out your game and set his trap. He had a reasonable idea as to what Skylar might have said to her - he'd caught the man with Tala before and his words had been quite malevolent even then - but he was still interested and listened when Leaf went into detail, nodding quietly. ~*~*~ "That makes sense," Dante nodded, "Thanks for everything," he meant this in regards to not only the food, but also the knowledge that their vehicle was safe and should be mended by the time they got it back. Jesse would keep silent until Gloria had left and the door had been closed, then she gave a grumble, "I still don't trust her..." "Why not?" Dante tilted his head, watching as Jesse turned to face him, "You may not have realised...but we're still prisoners." she frowned, "I shouldn't think they'd want us wandering the halls so late at night..." Logir cut in before his leader could speak, "If you think about it, they brought us here seemingly against our will, they had to take precautions, especially as we're in Lord Wolf's residence...They haven't had the chance to see that we're not going to turn on them and attack the Owl himself, so until we have the opportunity, say, tomorrow morning when we actually get to meet the guy, then they still have to be vigilant and keep us locked up...""We have a comfortable bed each, full bellies and no chains, okay, there are guards on the door, but like Logir said, they're taking precautions, I'd chalk it up for a win and take the chance to rest whilst we can," Dante was always one to look on the bright side anyway, "We'll see what happens tomorrow morning and then make our decision."Jesse didn't like what they'd said, but as she was locked in the same room, she had to take what was said and make the use of the opportunity to sleep... "...Whatever." She rolled over on the bed she had claimed and pulled the sheets over her head. With a shrug between them, Dante and Logir took the moment to come up with a backup plan before settling down for the night. ~*~*~ Tala would take a moment to try on the clothing once Crystal had left, it would prove to be a little large on him, but if he kept the belt tight and rolled the sleeves up, then it wouldn't be so noticeable. Hanging them back up, he then decided to take on his wolf form, tilting his head at the sight of the bracelet that was still quite visible on his front left ankle... He lifted his paw up to inspect it closer, watching how it moved as freely as a bracelet would, yet went no further than the tips of his claws... It was a strange item indeed, but he guessed there was no harm in it and clambered up onto the bed, turning round in a circle a few times before lying down and pulling the sheets up over his head. He would return to his human form at some point during the night, remaining beneath the covers even when Crystal came to rouse him that following morning - he awoke at the sound of the door and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He of course had underwear, but drew the sheets up around him just incase, "Morning already...?" He wasn't surprised, but wasted little time dressing and ensuring he looked as smart as he could before following her out. Tala's vision in a darkened room was slightly better than that of a normal human, so when the light came on, it wasn't to difficult to see, "So anything I say we have, I tick it off, right?" if she agreed, he would follow her closely ticking off and noting down everything they had before noting down what they didn't. The Cleaning check was relatively similar and he was quite content to check things off again before assisting her in changing the beddings and checking the laundry was where it needed to be. He would listen to everything she told him, taking it all in as he went and even asking the occasional relevant question where it was deemed safe to ask. ~*~*~ Jesse had laid in bed in silence most of the night just thinking, she had eventually dropped off to sleep when it was clear Dante and Logir were out, but as Gloria knocked, she rolled over and feigned sleep, not really wanting to move... However at the mention of breakfast, she sat up, slipping on her footwear within minutes. "Don't forget your manners," Dante would warn as they walked towards the meeting place, "This guy isn't Lord Raven, in fact I've never really met him up close, so you have to be extra specially polite." The sights and smells that hit them when they entered the room were enough to knock them back, at least two out of three stomachs growled at the scent, They would take a table by the window, looking out across the vista, Dante would nod in gratitude before watching as Gloria took her leave. All three would rise when Lord Wolf entered - Jesse needed a little prompting from Dante, but as soon as she was stood, their leader would offer a hand in greeting, "It's a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance, Sir, Yes, our stay was...interesting, but definitely comfortable!" he would take the lead behind Lord Wolf as they fetched their food, then take a seat at the table after the man, grateful that the others followed suit without question. "It was certainly an interesting means of bringing us here, Sir," Dante waited for the man to start eating before nodding to the others to do the same, "We might have honestly considered ourselves prisoners, had we not been greeted by your wonderful feline associate," Unsure as to who fell under which ranks, Dante felt that the use of associate wouldn't irk the man so much as it didn't label Gloria with the wrong profession, "We are a little concerned for our comrade however..." He set his fork down beside his plate, "He was injured during the festival and as we were trying to evade those guards, we became separated..." he didn't go into detail as to Jesse's pushing him from the vehicle, but he wanted to make his concern known, "If I could be so forward as to make a request, I feel it's important for me to ask that we might be allowed the opportunity to find him and ensure he's alright...if not request that someone could search for him if our request to leave is denied...?" He was not yet aware that Tala was now a low ranking member of Lord Wolf's staff and would remain oblivious if that was what Lord Wolf wished. "This is...so delicious!" Jesse couldn't help her outburst as the taste was far superior to what they had received for completing tasks for Lord Raven... Dante cast her a stunned look, then his gaze flicked worryingly to Lord Wolf... Logir of course remained silent, but the sound of his spoon dropping into the cereal he'd chosen was somewhat resounding...

Lord Wolf watched them and listened while he ate, nodding. "I'm glad your stay has been comfortable. If not then I would need to demote someone or someone's." He took another bite of food. He opened his eyes and looked to Dante as he mentioned the feline. "Yes, she's one of the few closes to me and is very useful. She's never failed to help me with anything I request of her or her comrades. Plus I didn't think you would come willingly which is why I sent her to find the one Lady Tigress was after."
He took a sip of his drink as he looked to Logir and Jesse then back to Dante. He slowed down upon hearing about 'if he could be so forward' about a request and his eyes narrowed on Dante, listening closely to each word spoken. He would stay quiet until he had finished his request. He was about to answer when Jesse spoke up and he eyed her confused and a little insulted she would think he would offer them anything less.
"Did you think I would offer guests slop?" he snorted as he sat straight in his seat. He then looked to Logir then back to Dante. "What's this ones name that you are seeking? I could send Gloria and her comrades out to find him if I know who they are to hunt for and a name." His tone was somewhat stiff as he watched before finishing a strip of bacon from his plate. "My guards that remain loyal and the right rank can find whoever your comrade is. If he was injured then I will need this info to find him before worse comes to worse."
He would go quiet and if Dante or Jesse or Logir told him Tala's name then his eyes would open with some curiosity and wonder if it were a chance happening of sorts. "I wonder if there are two beings named Tala." He would comment if Tala's name was given to him. He would then get another bite of food before speaking his next question. "Can you tell me about anything he can do that is unique?" he wasn't sure they knew anything about his shapeshifting.
"I was visited by a young pup named Tala that sought sanctuary so I granted him it. I'm not sure the pup is your comrade." He would comment the last sentence if they did not say anything about him having the magic to shapeshift. If they did mention his shapeshifting then he would nod and say "Then your comrade is now serving as an Omega level worker here at the castle after he was granted sanctuary." He took another drink before emptying his plate and got more food. "You may meet with him during the workers lunch break. Also, help yourself to as much as you want. I might be an Owl but I am nothing like those others or not to ones who do not threaten my pack."
He would eat quietly before eventually speaking up again. "Who do you work for? That vehicle looked like one from Lord Raven's citadel. Yet none of you look like the normal hired soldiers."
~*~*~*~*~
During this Crystal would be with Tala, going through one of the last rooms before they could eat. Once the last room was finished she sighed. "Alright, now we can go back to the kitchen, get breakfast and then we'll do the next floor. Today is also the starting week for me to work on the window cleaning. It'll be nice with some help."
She began to head back to the kitchen then paused. "Or do you think you can wait until our lunch break to eat and we just start on the windows now?" she wasn't sure how Tala felt and didn't want to deny him the breakfast they could grab if they wanted to after it had been served to Lord Wolf and any guests.
If he would say yes for food she would lead the way back to the kitchen and if he said he be fine until lunch then she would lead the way to get the cleaning spray and cloths for the windows.

Dante took note of Lord Wolf's comment about demoting those that would have been in control of ensuring they had a pleasant stay; it was clear the man's hierarchy depended on who proved useful and those that did their job well - he could only presume that those who failed to maintain the high standards of their assigned duties would find themselves demoted to other menial tasks... "Gloria explained that was why we were taken care of so quickly," he nodded, "I dare say, in the heat of the moment, we probably wouldn't have taken so kindly to another assailant after losing the first group..." he stifled a chuckle at this, turning his head initially in shock at Jesse's outburst, then sweating slightly when Lord Wolf seemed to take offense, "Please forgive her, Sir," he said quickly, "We're just not used to such exquisitely divine tastes,"Sensing a raw moment, Logir broke the awkwardness by answering Lord Wolf's following question, "The lad we seek goes by the name of Tala, he's not really that unique, rather quiet, keeps to himself, but he was pretty out of sorts when we attempted to leave the city..." He recalled how the youth had needed some help getting into the vehicle, but he hadn't thought any more of it when they'd set off towards the citadel exit... Hearing that the 'young pup' had been seeking sanctuary piqued Dante's interest and he sat up, pondering the possibility that there might actually be two people of the same name, "I'd like to think your Tala and mine are perhaps one in the same, but may I ask if you had the opportunity to see the colour of his eyes...? They are most distinguishable if he lets you get close enough..." He'd had the opportunity to see the colour of Tala's eyes when the male had been out for the count and wondered, provided the Lord had been given the chance to get close enough, if he had seen that Tala's right eye was blue with a slim, almost unnoticeable ring of yellow surrounding the iris, whilst in his left eye, the yellow ring was more profound, giving those close enough to see, the impression his eyes were of different colours... "I'm sure his Highness has better things to do than go around looking into people's eyes..." Jesse frowned, earning a glare from Dante, "I'm just saying, Our Tala doesn't let anyone get close enough, at least not before they've earnt his trust." she couldn't help but recall the distance Tala had kept between them when she'd taken him to the edge of Rydol's city perimeter... "Jesse...I've told you." he whispered this, trying to remind her to be on her best behaviour... "We'd appreciate any help you offer, Sir, I'd just like to know he's alright,"The trio cast a brief glance between one another when Lord Wolf asked for whom they worked, eventually, Dante spoke up, explaining that the vehicle was indeed from Rydol and that they often ran errands for Lord Raven, "We're not soldiers, more like undercover hirelings who are called upon for jobs where soldiers might just...stick out a little?" ~*~*~ "In all honesty, I haven't actually eaten for quite a while..." Tala found it hard to recall the last time he'd eaten, but at the same time, with the work they had been doing and everything else that had happened, he didn't feel all that hungry... "If I could get something just to take the edge off or maybe something to drink, then I should be fine," He would follow Crystal quietly back towards the kitchen, taking a couple of oat biscuits and some orange juice to revitalize himself a little before following her to where they kept the cleaning supplies.
