Short IC Response: Hard Tack had spoken to the wishing star before, though with no luck, not that it troubled him greatly for he was thankful for what he already had. But his children had grown up and mostly all responsible enough he no longer had to care for them, though he’d always be there if he was needed. He missed that though, being needed. Copena needed him of course, to some degree as her stronger character Jolon also looked after her in an odd way. But Hard simply wanted to be a father again. There were few soquili which didn’t look at him strangely but his children all seemed to think he was ‘normal’ in their eyes and perhaps he was looking for that also when he placed the blacken rose down and stared up at the large star which illuminated the nights sky far greater than all the others.

The skull of a small bird. Short IC Response: Macha was not one to do things the hard way, which is not to be mistaken for not working hard. Macha flew to the top of the alter passing others along the way who had to or had chosen to walk to reach their goal. Macha pushed to the front with little care for how this action was to be perceived, she was strong and powerful and knew her own mind. She took a single step forward and flung down her offering as if discarding something of no worth, she looked to the star which was the reason for all the migration to this point and simply said, ’Do what you wish with the offering, I would like to think something of use could come from my travelling here, another hunter to join my sisters cause but if not we will continue as we always have. With that she took to the air and disappeared into the inky black nights sky.

Who is Wishing?: Koralo Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: The seathi swims slowly up to an outcropping of rock just peaking out of ocean waves. He flutters his fins a bit nervously. Rarely did he leave his garden volcanic home. Koralo lifted his head above the water and looked up at the bright light. He was silent for a long moment, and one might wonder if he’d leave without saying anything after all. Then softly, the little male spoke.
“I’m just a little seathi. If… if you don’t notice me that’s alright.” He glanced away from the star. This was awkward for him. Koralo didn’t like any company except his garden. So why was he here asking for a friend? “I live in a volcanic garden that I tend. I don’t find making friends really to be all that easy. In fact, the only ones I really see are my family. I….”
This was the hardest part. To admit he might want something more than his garden. “I would really love if you could find me a friend please.” Koralo dipped under the surface a moment then came up with some offerings for the Wishing Star. He pushed up some kelp and corals that he’d grown himself in his garden.

Bitter herbs from her own garden, and a shining lock of her own hair.
Short IC Response:Naoreth stood at the alter, a slight sneer on her face. Family. As if she needed any of her supposed family. Where were they, her sisters, her aunts, when she was given to the Crown Prince? Barely out of fillyhood, she had become a plaything for a stallion who cared only for himself. And they had done nothing to help her. She snorted in irritation and turned to go. Why would I wish for any of them? Still... She turned glancing at the alter. The Wishing Star shone above her, seeming to wrap her offerings in soft light.
"My Harem Sister, Evae'tri," She said, pausing and wondering just what was possessing her to speak. "If I should see anyone again, from my life before. Let it be her." Naoreth nodded, satisfied. She did not expect her wish to be granted. Perhaps it was just as well. Above her, the Wishing Star twinkled innocently.

Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: I love to find interesting rocks, I have a small collection of them and share with my younger siblings. Mostly I spend my time wandering the area my family lives, watching for danger and protecting those I love. 10 Things I Like: Crystals, I love crystals. It would be great if my friend had colors like mine. Someone to explore with, like with wings to scout ahead or hands to help gather new rocks, or big and able to help carry stuff, or maybe with teeth to help me guard, or . . . . You know, I just want a friend, he or she can look like anything as long as they look like my friend. 10 Things I Don’t Like: Well, I don't want an evil friend. And I don't want a friend who looks all sick or dead. And I don't want my friend's colors to hurt my eyes. But that's it, just a good friend. Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Well, I'm a travelling healer. I've been told that despite my blood, my magic is particularly powerful. Still, I believe in supplementing what I have with other remedies, and teaching those who do not know of herbs and their uses. I have a particular love of others and enjoy making friendly acquaintances. I find the road...lonely, though, so I would be grateful for a companion by my side. A steadfast friend.
