▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Zach walked briskly into the store and sighed in relief. He just got this job after quitting the other, so if he was late any time he would probably hate himself. He was strict on himself when it came to job lateness. If there isn't a good enough reason then Zach would have to punish himself, which was usually to keep away from his music for a month and to make sure he got up earlier then normal. But this was besides the point. Zach shook his head and looked around. No one was really here, so that must mean it was a slow day, which means that Zach would have some time to himself, which he loved. With a small nod Zach walked to the back to grab a few of the new books and started to restock the shelves.

The night before had been a crazy one, more then crazy, it was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. At this point Freya was doing everything in her power to stay away from her home, she needed to be out of her house and in the world. She found it helpful to be out of the house and in the world, mainly because it was distracting. Freya had been wandering in and out if stores all morning long, she had started early. Freya had not slept at all the night before she had been way to terrified to sleep. Even though she watched the demon that had captured her be ripped away from the mortal realm Freya was still afraid that Yalo would show up and do terrible things to her. Freya had to get out of her home and somehow she was not scared to be outside. However, she did begin checking corners she would normally walk by without any glance.
After stopping by a few stores Freya had soon stumbled upon the book store, it looked rather empty but also warm. That was something Freya was in search of, it was super cold outside! Her hands were shoved in the coat pockets and her few shopping bags were digging into her wrists. Freya removed her hand from her pockets and opened the door quickly she opened the door and got into the book store. Once she was in the large store Freya began rubbing her hands together mans blowing air on them in order to create some type of warmth. Freya stood in that spot for a few moments while warming up and then she began to walk around scanning the shelves of the store. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Once he was finished with the books on the shelves Zach turned toward's the sound of the door opening. A figure, oddly familiar to him, walked in and took a look around the store. Zach seemed put off slightly. Maybe because his nice quiet moment was ruined by a customer? No he shouldn't think of customers and annoying, or stupid, or inconsiderate... He should think of them as costumers. It was hard for Zach to do such things, but he got this job for money, not human interactions. Moving quickly, Zach pushed the cart off into the back room and set it up against the wall, then left the back room and looked at the figure. Yes he noticed it was Freya, which didn't seem to surprise Zach too much. He did meet the poor girl in the library, gave her some good information. With a gentle nod to himself Zach walked up to Freya and watched her figure for a moment, before he finally spoke, ❝Good afternoon Freya Miles.❞

Freya was having a difficult time focusing on the books she was looking threw, she would read the title and or description but soon after forget. This was quite the annoyance toward her. Freya's mind just kept wandering away setting herself into a anxious state the burnete would try and shove away the feeling and focus on the books but then it would shove it's way back into her head. As Freya took a book off of the shelf at hand she heard someone great her afternoon, but because of the anxious state she was in Freya jumped and dropped the book turning to see a friendly face. "Sorry." Freya whispered as she picked up the book she dropped and placed the book in it's place. Freya cleared her throat and weakly smiled at Zach "Sorry, you just startled me." A slight paused followed this and then she added "Good afternoon." With a soft smile.

▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Zach watched for a moment as Freya jumped and dropped a book. She wasn't acting as herself, or maybe she was? Zach didn't know fully, seeing as she was tiered and full of anxiety when they first had met. Zach gave the girl a moment to herself, or more like used this moment of silence to think to himself. But he broke the silence when his eyes followed her whole figure, then landed strightfully onto Freya's face, ❝Something seems to be bothering you yes? Mind talking to me about it?❞ Zach wasn't one for giving away his time, but he had finished stoking the shelves with new books, and the place was dead so... Waiting for his answer Zach's eyes took notice of Freya's bags that had been with her. So she was a shopaholic? Or was she shopping to keep her mind off of something? Females confused Zach, they either shopped their worries away without a care, or they shop just because they 'need too.' But this wasn't Zach's need to be concern, so he just forced his eyes back up onto Freya's so he didn't seem disrespectful, and awaited her answer, whether it be good or bad, lie or not, was up to Freya. And whether Zach will catch it and acknowledge it, was only to come.

Freya sighed slightly when Zach asked if she wanted to talk about what was bothering her, she was not exactly sure if she wanted to talk about the whole event. Freya knew that it could prove beneficial, but she also did not want to bore Zach with her newest issue. "I'm just really nervous about something, I'll be fine." Freya told him with a soft smile and then a nod. Of course she was lying about some of it, Freya was extremely nervous but she was not sure that she would be fine. The whole thing had scared her shitless and Freya was only hoping that it was something she could block out of her thoughts, but as of right now that would not be the case. In an attempt to bring her thoughts away from prior events she look around for a moment and then back at Zach "So you work here?" Freya asked hoping to open up some type of conversation with him. Something was the matter, but Zach didn't want to press further if she felt uncomfortable, so he just listened and nodded whenever he needed too. When it came time for Zach to answer her question, Zach merely nodded and looked around, ❝I like to read, and a bookstore is quiet where I can collect my thoughts. Are you here for anything? Or just needing a place to relax for a moment?❞ Zach asked calmly as he looked at her hands once more. The bags where annoying Zach. Not because of the brand's, logo's, or the fact that he wanted to ask about her shopping habits, but because they seemed to be leaving marks on her wrist. Gently and smoothly Zach bent down and held onto her wrist, pulling the bags from it, ❝You should really take care of yourself. It'd be a shame if your body had markings like these.❞

Freya was glad that Zach has not pressed on the issue anymore he just nodded and then went to answer her question. It only made sense that Zach work at a book store he seemed to really enjoy reading and books, what a better place to work then a bookstore. "It looked quiet in here and plus it's cold out there and I wanted to get out of the cold." Freya told him. Freya noticed that Zach had looked at her hands once again she wondered why he was looking at her hands but soon that was revealed. Zach was concerned that the bags would leave marks on her wrists, but those would fade. Freya did have permeant scars on her wrists which bothered her but the scars were fading away and she only hoped they would be completely gone at some point in her life. The marks from her bags that would fade were the least of her worries, she wanted the permeant ones gone. Zach seemed worried about it so after he had gently moved the bags she then replied "The marks would fade though." in a soft voice. He had hoped not, it was never a good outcome to anything. Zach felt the need to worry over the girl, so he dropped the bags gently onto the ground and held onto her hands, then with a soft look, Zach turned her wrists over, ❝Do you mind me looking? I want to make sure myself.❞ Zach's voice seemed caring as he gently ran his thumbs over her wrists. He knew of a friend when he was living by himself the first year, that self harmed. He ended up dying in Zach's bedroom with bloody cuts, Zach unable to do anything to stop his friend from hurting or feeling pain. Zach would often lull his friend to sleep with a song or two, but in the end none of it mattered.

Freya kept her gazed locked with Zach the same way he had, she had a nervous look in her eyes. It was always a nerve wreaking thing when someone commented or wanted to see her wrists, it was worse when she had recently self harmed. The way Zach looked and acted was keeping her slightly calm he actually looked like he cared many people just looked scared when the idea came up. "You're not going to like it." She said in a whisper "go ahead." this time her voice barley audible. Freya looked down wondering what her scars really looked like, Freya always avoided looking at them she wasn't avoiding the scars more of the memories that came with the scars. It was not only her wrist though, she had scars on her leg it was harder for her parents to find if the cuts were on her leg. If Zach ended up looking he would see many faded marks on her wrists some darker and more prominent then others, there were many scars on both wrists but luckily most were faded but the deeper ones were there it stay. They seemed faded, but it was obvious that some where deeper then other's. It placed him into a limbo of feelings. At a sense she was alright, obviously not dead, and slightly unharmed, but she was still hurting. This placed Zach at a very difficult situation as he released her wrists and scratched the back of his head, his eyes switching over toward's the ground as he seemed to be lost in his own daze, ❝How long have you been.... Y'know. Self harming?❞ Zach asked as his voice held a small shred of sympathy. He didn't want to admit that he inadvertently was concerned for the women's safety and health, but it did concern him. He didn't want another life to be waisted away for something that probably shouldn't have happened in the first place.

After Zach looked at her scars and then let go of her wrists Freya just looked around attempting to find something to look at so she did not have to face Zach. Eventually she gave up her attempts and made eye contact with Zach who had asked how long she had self harming. "Four years." She said in a soft voice. "But I have not self harmed in a few months." It may had been a nice amount of time sense Freya last harmed herself but she still did in other ways. The sometimes excessive amounts of alcohol Freya drank was yet another way to drown out any memories or anything that intruded Freya's fragile mind. None of it was good, all she had were bad habits that were hard for her to break. Location|| The book store Balance|| $850.00 Outfit|| Cold day outfit OOC||

The information was acceptable and very helpful, but he still felt annoyed and saddened. Zach gave a sigh as he shook his head. At least she took a break, by months even. A year would be better, "If you don't want to tell me why you happen to self harm, then that is perfectly understandable. But I would like to warn you. Because you have made me as your friend, I will not accept this fact of stuff punishment. If I find these markings anywhere else on your body, and they are fresh, I will not forgive the person who caused these." By now Zach had placed his hands on her shoulders and was giving his gaze to hers for the hundredth time. He wanted to make it clear to her that he was serious. He was committed to helping his new friend from something that had caused his other friend to end his life in front of himself.

Checking the time so he was back home in two hours as promised, he pushed through the door and let it ring as he padded along the first aisle. There were only two people within, neither of the two being the busty teenager from last time that more or less told him to 'man up.' Nor the expressionless woman who had kept her perch at the counter and scanned his purchases. Instead there was a female with hair and eyes the color of burlywood. Zach was serious about this, he actually seemed to really care about this problem she had. Freya wanted to cry but she was holding it in, she wasn't used to people caring about her of course some people cared about her but they were family Freya wanted friends to care about her. As Freya listen to what he had to say she became worried, often she was the reason why she would self harm. Freya would think herself into such a deep hole that eventually she would have to find a way out, typically it was either self harm or getting completely wasted. "But what if the reason I do it is myself?" She asked in a quiet voice. A few tears began to fall down her face but she quickly reached up to wipe away the tears. Freya then heard the soft ringing of the front door sand continued to attempt to stop the tears from falling. She was not crying all that much so it had not been hard to stop the tears. "You should probably go great your costumer." Freya said quietly. Location|| The book store Balance|| $850.00 Outfit|| Cold day outfit OOC||
