In shock as another vine lashed at him, and the siren threw another batch of garlic at Steve before looking for a place to hide. He'd hit his limit. He wasn't brave anymore. He wanted to hide.

Just once, she would have loved to find an herb that had some sort of effect. But alas, that was clearly asking too much. LW was quite sure she had done something to garner such bad luck. Or maybe she really DID need to start reading what she threw. Next time. She'd check next time, seeing as she'd already grabbed up yet another herb and thrown that.

A familiar smelling herb drew her attention and LW snagged it. Maybe this would....help soothe and calm Steve? It was worth a shot. She'd always loved the floral scent herself, so maybe it would have some sort of effect now on the plant! And luck was finally with her!

Calder stepped back, watching as the root changed color. Neato! He really liked that plant and reached out to pluck off another plant in his enthusiasm until he noticed it wasn't more of the Zebra Wort. Wondering what he was, he read to find it was Yarrow and decided to give that a try. Sadly, the effect wasn't impressive at all. Screw it. He'd find something else that did great things.

Calder was noticing that the Yarrow wasn't working and frowning, decided to try something else. Walking away, he flipped through the book before noticing Ash Bark. That might work! He did want to be protected from this creature that was attacking everyone. Going over, he found the right tree and peeled a piece of bark, before coming back. Once he rubbed it on, he waited.

Finally! Something she'd thrown had worked. The she-wolf moved along to line of labeled herbs again until she found another one to try. She was fairly sure she hadn't used this one yet. But LW more so hoped this one was effective as well.

Another herb that seemed to have some effect! LW felt faintly better about all her failed attempts now that a couple had done something. So she wasn't doing it wrong. Just needed a little luck on her side. Her hand curled around another bottle with herbs and she threw that, wincing as the glass shattered. That one might not have been quite as effective.

Jackdamnit! There was another one that wasn't right. LW was slightly amazed at how many herbs students kept throwing and fighting back with. How did the supplies not get depleted? Not time to worry about that! Focus on the plant.

LW sighed heavily and cursed her bad luck (not for the first or fifth time). Really, she wanted to know what she had done to acquire such bad luck. But that wasn't important. Helping the other students right now was. She looked along the herbs and found one she did know what it did. Maybe that was the problem? Steve had an upset...did plants even have stomachs? Good question to ask the Professor sometime.

OOC Note O-Tay Guys. Cadmus has brewed up two potions so anyone who has reached 100+ If you'd like you can make your way to watch Cadmus Use the First Potion on Steve's Lady Friend. For those of you who have started Rolling for you Points for Steve please continue I won't drug Steve till everyone has reached their 100. I do believe the Calder and LW are the only ones still rolling for their 100 Points. I'm sorry that I've dropped the ball on sending out the Pm's with the individual results on the rolling I plan to get those done before the class ends. Please do not hesitate to pm me if you have any questions. I will be posting a rp post later tonight with Cadmus using the potion on Steve Lady Friend.

The last of the ingredients gathered, the dragon may have sighed in relief as it seemed the professor had at last finished whatever it was he was making. Though he still had no idea what that was or what it was meant to accomplish. Here's to hoping that he worked, he'd had more than enough of this greenhouse, carnivorous plants, and unbearable humidity for one day.
His tail twitched, gaze focused on the plant, those vines were getting much closer than he was comfortable with.

In the brief lull the lavender provided her Mandy quickly flicked through for another mixed classification herb she hadn't used. Quill Berries? Glancing around she spotted some and wondering if Steve had deliberately chosen some kind of herb hotspot she threw them at him again, not really clear on application.
Clearly she should have been because only quick reflexes saved her from another vine slap.
