what if we have a teachers form and then an other form for the dueling club and if the junior prefects see something they can use that form too.
They could look something like this:Quote: Teacher Submitting Homework PointsWhat Class you teach: Date of Submission: Points for Gryffindor: Points for Ravenclaw: Points for Hufflepuff: Points for Slytherin: and the other form could look like this or something like it:Quote: Other House PointsWhat was done to deserve these points?(ex: Dueling Club, House Spirit, ect.) How many points you think they deserve/won Which House the student is in It's just a thought you can change or added to it if you like or not use it at all.

Alright, before we move on to elves, I'd like to make a quick note.
It has been brought to my attention by one of the teachers that is is extremely tedious to have to go to a seperate thread to add points... and even more tedious to have to do it ever time you grade a piece of homework. So, I've decided to implement an option to keep your house points post in your classroom untouched. Meaning the teacher can add points to it as he/she grades homework and awards points and then they can reset their tally at their own leisure and add the points once. (say maybe with the release of a new lesson...)
So mods, if a teacher puts their points system back up, then I instruct you to leave it alone. They have the right to keep their own tally of the points earned in their class. Then it is their responsibility to re-set the points and post the request to add them in the Hour Glasses. And if a teacher is unavailable at the end of term, then we will merely go through the classes and add the points ourselves. leaveing a note saying that we did so...
3nodding This means that I'm asking both the teachers and the mods to be alert of any notes or anything like that, that may pop up.
I hope that's not difficult for anyone to follow...

KTweirdchick Geo Storm But what about all those other users who aren't house elves. If I can't be a student, well, you have teachers ...but i cant teach anything. well...who do i have to be a House Elf? Don't I have ANY other options. what about that guy from a different school, he's not a house elf. And I think I read somewhere that you can have ghosts? I don't want to be a house elf. I want to be something else. being a house elf simply means you're new... Our exchange student has been a loyal member for a while now, He discussed his request with Pinkie and I before he joined the guild...
As for ghosts, that's just an idea for now. And ghosts are going to be our most active members, to be trusted with putting together our guild's events. So you wouldn't be able to just walk in and be a ghost. You have to earn your position just like everyone else does. I belive in the FAQ in the Entrance Hall Thread Pinkie said: "If you expect to walk into Hogwarts on your first day and expect some glorious title, then I don't think you should be here." I'm not saying you shouldn't be here... I'm just saying that it's somewhat rude to expect special treatment when there are many other members who are elves just like you. It feels especially rude to me, because I'm the one who goes through the lists and keeps the member lists organized so the members can enjoy our unique little spot in Gaia. So, if we were to accomidate your request, it would involve alot more work for me, because once we do it for you, we'll have to do it for anyone who asks...
And finally... ask yourself this: Which would you rather the mods discuss; making multiple titles for new members, or finding ways for new members to be more involved? It's your choice... You're an elf untill your sorted ok?

Alright... now, lets figure out the Hat Situation.. so then that way we can have the new sorting requirements set up for when we get the hat back... our guild people are sharp... they'll get it... 3nodding
Alright... I'm thinking one way to be sorted early is to get 5 people to apply to the guild... However, if they go around advertising in other guilds and what-not, and are a nussance...then we may not be able to do that...
another way I was thinking was if they make 50 posts before the sorting week...
And then we need to figure out if these kids will be sorted as first years or if they should some how be new firsties...like for the next term...
I was thiking... each term is 10 weeks long... I was thinking we will sort them early 7 weeks into the term as first-years...the 8th, 9th, and 10th weeks, however, they'll need to wait...
because those last 3 weeks we're usually getting ready for the end of the term...and it isn't really enough time to do any lessons...
What do you think? any other ways you can think of to get them sorted early? like I said before...just don't forget the original requirements... 30posts and 3weeks of guild membership... Otherwise, the whole requirements are pointless...
Oh... and (a side note) I was thinking about the Hogsmeade Weekend thread... I was thinking that if someone posts they'll be gone, they'll have a month of protection before I start recognizing their inactiveness... or else untill thay say they're going to be back... then they would be put on my new list system from then on... So, if any mods get any PMs about being gone, make sure you send them on to me... 3nodding
