Damien looked even more nervous at the mention of 'students', but nodded anyway. "I hope it will." He said, laughing vervously. His eyes widened slightly. "Did you say a fae? I've only read books about those." He said, excited.

"Yes! Fern, her name is. Fern Everlasting. She's a hyper little sprite, full of questions and stories." Over time, the fae had begun to keep to themselves, and rightly so with all the violence breaking loose. "Here, have a cookie." Anna handed him a small tin filled with various little delights before thinking of other creatures she had met at the Grove. "There is also Gavin, an elf like me. Ooh, who else have I met? I'm fairly new in this position, so I've yet to meet most of the Keystone students."

Damien's eyes sparkled as he stared at the cookies, drooling slightly. "Huh? Oh!" He nervously wiped the drool away and grabbed a cookie and started chewing on it slowly. "I just hope she doesn't bombard me with questions. You know how much I dislike those. And an elf you say? I wouldn't mind meeting him."

She watched him eat, noting how eagerly he went for the cookie. "Are you hungry, Damien?" Anna asked. "We could go to the Inn for a bit of breakfast, if you'd like."

"Alright!" Anna stood up to fetch her purse from her desk. "Then to Moline we go! I'll be sure to put some meat one those bones, you skinny thing." Anna patted his arm and pinched it gently, giggling. "The Inn has wonderful food. I'm sure we'll be able to catch up on everything that's happened since we last met, too. Damien, how I've missed having a friend around..."
Anna scribbled a note on a piece of paper, one that she could tape to the door in case anyone else came while she was out.

"As have I." Damien replied, standing up. "And I'm not that skinny!" He argued.

"I believe you are," she said, opening the door for him. "I'm afraid you'll float away if I don't open the door with enough care." It was all in jest, of course.
The two proceeded out to Moline, to the Inn for a good breakfast and chat.
-Anna is no longer in her room-
((I'll make the first post in the Inn thread, kay?))

The note on the closed door reads:
"Terribly sorry, but I've been called away on some minor business. If needed by staff, I can be found in Moline. Students, please be patient! I'm dreadfully sorry for the wait, but we'll be sure to have some tea and a good chat when I return this afternoon."

When Anna returned to her room, she took off the note from the door. She had just returned from Moline with her friend, though left Pyralis behind as he said he had work to do there, more than likely something for his mother.
Still, it troubled her to see him so... defensive of her. He had regarded Damien as some kind of young threat to his dear one, which while loving, was bothering Anna. Couldn't she have any male friends at all? Surely this little snag wouldn't be some kind of great undoing of their relationship.
But, she would address it later. For now, she had a job to do.

Marisella was nervous as she stood outside the office door and took a deep breath before she knocked on it. Looking down at her feet, she waited to here a reply from the other side.

The angel walked over to a random corner and sat down, glad to have his peace and quite back. He could tell that Anna was troubled, most likely from Pyralis' reaction to him being there, but he just ignored it, knowing that it would blow over sooner or later. Damien had his own interests and the dragon shouldn't need to worry in the first place. He decided that he should let the elf have her space, she did have a job to do after all. That, plus new students were bound to come and he couldn't stand that idea alone. He twiddled his thumbs a few times before standing up and walking out the door to Anna's office, muttering something close to "exploring" before he left the room entirely.
As he left the room, Damien ended up running into the girl standing outside the office. He blushed slightly, apologized and quickly walked off.

Anna bid her friend a good day before walking over to the door herself. There she saw a waiting student, one that looked rather fidgety. Everyone was always a bit nervous when they came to the Grove, but she would be sure to welcome them no matter what.
"Oh, goodness, I hope you weren't standing out there all morning!" she exclaimed to the young woman. Anna stood aside to welcome her into the warm office, smiling away.

Marisella was puzzled when a guy had ran into her. Looking up at him she smiled and nodded her head back at him. Then seeing the other woman she continued to smile, "No, I just got here", and walked inside the office.

"Ah, lovely then. Please, take a seat." Anna gestured to the chair in front of her own desk. As her guest situated herself, Anna dragged the other chair behind the desk, and resumed a scholarly position. "My name is Miss Annabelle Souris, and I'd like to personally welcome you to Grove Academy." As she said the name of the school, her face beamed. What a true honor it was to have secured a position there.
"If I may see your letter, please?" she asked, hand somewhat extended to accept the envelope.
