Mercury sighed. "Very well child. We will ease your punishment. Three dish duties or shifts in the kitchen, to be completed in two days time."

She stood there, glad that one thing was over, when the man-or from the way he acted, boy-next to the Amyrlin lunged at Clarissa, shouting something about not being herself. Stepping into the way and quickly channeling, she bound both the boy and Alina in flows of air, keeping them separated.

"Now it's your turn I suppose. Explain yourself. What do you mean she's not herself? And how do you know this?"

She looked between the two trainees, wondering why both of them were here. She tied off the weave, leaving them to float there, paralyzed as she waited for the answer.

: Azalea smiled at her friend's arrival, glad that she no longer had to speak. She was about to leave when the crazed young man lunged at the Amrylin. This was quite an interesting afternoon indeed. The way the boy seemed to know how the girl was feeling implied that they may be bonded...Things were not looking up for the pair. Azalea decided to stick around, she had been wanting to pay a visit to Mercury anyways. :

Skiiy nods as Katerine explains about not using the angreal. He can't say he understands all that well, but if she thinks she shouldn't use it, then he figures it'll just mean he'll have to work harder. "Hold up a second Katerine, if you're gonna try not to use your powers, then you'd better let me go through first. I haven't fought Shadowspawn before, but I felled many an opponent throughout my lifetime, and I know the dangers of these enemies. After all, that's what I'm here for, right?" Skiiy glances at his gunblade, making sure he's ready, then walks over to the door and opens it quickly, bringing his blade up in front of him to prepare for an immediate attack.

Alina looked at the Keeper. a look crossed her face that could only be called one thing, evil. before she could say anything a gag filled her mouth. she could not see the flows but she knew who it was from.

Dupre looked at Alina knowing that somthing was wronge and not wanting her to say anything, he had put the gag in her mouth. "forgive me Keeper, But, it is very hard to explain." i have to figure out a way to say this withou t giving myself away. the fact that we are bonded AND the fact that, I, am a darkfriend. "Alina is under the influnce of...of...the forsaken. There is one in the Tower, i do not know which one or who she is... but i know that Alina is under Cumpulsion to kill, you, Mother, and you, Keeper." he looked at them perfectly calm but what he felt through the Bond was not somthing he had ever hoped to feel from her. there was not a trace of fear. even though she had been cut of from the source. the Keeper had not known that he to could channel.
((that is asuming MErc that you DID infact cut me off!!))

((No...I didn't cut either of you off from the Source biggrin ...just from the ground. sweatdrop ...but whatever...if you want to say I cut you off...let's go with that...))

And here we go again...

Once the boy had finished stuffing the gag into Alina's mouth, the Keeper was glad to have Azalea there with her. It was a strange way to meet, but at least there was someone else there besides the Mother who was equally experienced with weaves. Plus, the Blue Sitter offered such wonderfully logical insight, either of her own mind or because of her ter'angreal didn't really matter.

Mercury stayed in front of Clarissa, and gazed back at Alina...there was no doubting that it had been an evil look...but still. She should have been afraid, but by this time, too much had happened already. First, she proceeded to shield Alina, but kept herself holding the Source.

"Azalea Sedai...I believe the location of such weaves is a specialty of the Blue....?"

She turned back to the boy. He still remained floating in the air, alongside Alina. He was being defiant, and considering that he'd lunged for the Mother AND stuffed an Accepted's mouth with a gag, Mercury was starting to question his logic. She was also faintly starting to wish Hawk or Wolf was there to keep him still...or thump him on the head and leave him asleep till this was through...

"For now, we will believe you. But, and I do not make such insinuations lightly, if you know of this, it means that you are involved somehow. It is not the way of most Forsaken using Compulsion, to leave those memories behind-this at least is the case with her. You can remove the gag; she is unable to control anything she's doing, so we will not hold it against her. And I'm sure we've heard worse over time.

So the question remains: how do you know of this? There are multiple possibilties, the most likely of which seem to be that you are either bonded to her, a Darkfriend yourself, or have been investigating on your own. Which brings us to another point of how you can prove the existence of a Forsaken in the Tower. Would you like to add any conclusions of your own, Azalea, Mother?"

Not that I doubt anything at this point....

((AHH the gag was of AIR!!! w/e i will adapt....*takes in big breath...))
ALina turned her head to Dupre, for once her thoughts wer her own. what is going on here? how did i get here? the last thing i remeber was..was...trying to stop this girl in from dystiroing to Tower, and thats it, now i have some kind of gag in my mouth, i am cut of from the srouce, and DUpre is about to tell Mercury the truth! NO DUPRE DONT!! A mufled scream came out of Alinas mouth. a look of fear finnaly crossing her face.
she is herself once more. he heaved a big sigh and then started to tell the tale of how he became what he is today. "i cannot go into detail, ((simply b/c i dont know it all!!)) but yes i am a darkfirend, but not of my own will. the Darkone forced me to become one, in exchange for the life of my sister, which of corse, he did not give. and yes you are right there is no memory in ALinas head of what she has done. i...I am her Warder...i....no this is wronge....please dont punish her...punish me if you must but not her..." he hung his head, and went limp agianst the bonds holding him. his hair falling in his face. then he began to cry.

Mercury heaved a sigh, whether of relief or exhaustion she wasn't sure. The duo had caused some major revelations, and it would take more than a few days to think on it.

"Be calm...for now, neither of you will be punished. At least until we determine how to deal with this. Either the Blues or the Yellows will try to find and block the area of her mind the Forsaken is using for Compulsion. Your being bonded is serious, but not nearly as much as your current state of being a Darkfriend...that decision will have to be made by the Mother...."

Mercury stepped aside and looked at Clarissa. Realizing the pair was still afloat, she set them down and removed the weaves, but remained vigilant and in hold of the Source, so should the Forsaken attack again, they'd be ready.

Dupre removed the gag from alinas mouth so she could talk.
alina ran over to Dupre and huged him. "whats going on? what...what is The Keeper talkinga bout? what have i done? i dont remember anything! the Forsaken are controling me? does this have to do with what happened when you left? oh DUpre! whats going on! why did you tell them?" in a hiss she said "you could get us both killed...or worse...you could get me stilled and you genteled!" she looked back at the AMyrilin and said, "im sorry Mother, for anyting i may have done....which i dont know hwat that is..." and she too began to cry.
the flow of tears that were streming down Dupres face had now stoped. he put hjis arms around ALina and smothed her hair. "dont worry," he wispered, "everything will be fine, we should have gone to the Amyrilin in the begining... we should have...wehn i first told you...Jade was right, we should have..."

Katerine Sedai,

My trip to the edges of the coast past Tamon Head were of no success. My absence leaves me wishing I were home, back in the Tower. It is amusing that I can call that place home, as a man. I passed my village on the way out. It's gone. Everything was burned to the ground and there is no sign of survivors. It seems it happened many years ago after I left for the Tar Valon. I've no where to return to but there, now. My eyes burn from the wind and my steed tires. I am somewhere on the plains and the Mountains of Mist are in my view. Though fully trained, I still fear those passes.

One might think a homecoming would be joyous, but it is still long days away. My mind lingers on what I saw in Halfsmead, the burned suppoerts still protrude from the ground, but have since grown old with ivy.

I prey to the Light this pidgeon makes the flight.

Hiding herself in the warder's training yard, Rintala flowed through her forms with endless determination, and a slight hint of anger. Warder or not, how dare he play with her?! A low crouch, holding her blade against her right leg, two steps forward, then a quick vertical slash, used to disarm an opponent. The move left her head open to attack, for only a breif moment, but it was also bait. When they went in to behead her they would find their hand removed at the wrist. Springing back to a standing position, twirling around with her blade moveing in quick circles, she paused, sword held point down infront of her. A good defence if someone tried at her from straight ahead, but left her rear completely open to attack. Her sides could be defended with a little twist of her body, though the extra effort would have just been better to use a difference stance. Falling back onto the heel of her left foot, which was extended further than her right, she thrusted her blade forward, allowing a slight upward movement to account for her "longswords" curve.

Sweat covered her face in a light sheen, being caught by the gentle sun's life giving light. But she kept moveing, her will adding strength to her tired muscles. She would not be made a fool of! A rather complicated movement which required presice footing and quick slashes of the swords. The quick slashes were easy for her, now, but the footing was still hard. Left foot here, right over there, slide the left here, slash, back onto the right, slash again, two steps forward, slash, slash, lean onto the left foot, pivoting on the heel, slash, slash, slash, swing right around and...THUD! Rintala hit the ground, her right foot being trapped behind her left knee. "Bloody flaming goat's tongue!!" Rintala shouted loudly, as she pounded her fist into the dirt. "Wolf loveing, blood and bloody, mother's milk in a cup, cow kissing...GRAH!" Was her hand bleeding? Dust mattered her face, chest, legs, arms, and fists, all in a slight brown coat, except on her hands. The sides of her hands were covered with dirt, wet dirt. Dusting the mud off her hands revealed two tiny rocks which had peirced the flesh and drew blood. "Blood and ashes..." She murmered as she stood and began to dust herself off, "Dark One's own luck sometimes..." First she dusted her legs off, bottom, chest, and arms. Then she furiously wiped at the blood soaked dirt on her hands.

Katerine Sedai,

My days' travel to the Mountains of Mist was droll and uneventful. It seems like the world is at peace here, even in the mountains where the wolves play. They enter my mind, still. I can hear them call to me and beg me to run with them. At night, they come near, but none too close. They fear me still, despite their curiosity.

The nights here are clear and lit by the moon, brisk with mountain air, and most of all, quiet. The most one hears here is the bay of the wolf, and the chirp of the bird. Though, there has been something of late that has struck my curiosity; there's a smell that lingers on the air. It hangs and twists with every gust. There is another thing. I've heard news from the wolves that Dragonmount exploded or something of that nature. I don't know what all the visions mean. I still cannot read them the best.

Please, bring me news of this and set my thoughts to rest.

Mirren was suprized at the reactions of Aline and Dupre, and decided to hang around to see what the Aes Sedai would do. And if they wouldn't want her around she would have an exuse, after all she had not had any kind of order / punishment yet. But Mirren was sure she could not avoid that.

Clarissa had been about to reply to Alina when she was pushed by Dupre. Her face got sterner at every word in his confession until it looked carved from stone.
"You are bonded to an accepted and you are a darkfriend. However unwillingly you still are a servant to the Dark One, with whom I have no patience for at the moment. You will be in our custody heavily guarded while the Hall meets and decides your fate. I understand you did not wish to become one and that may save you."
She turned to face face still stern but less.
"You are not off the hook but at the moment we have more important things to discuss return to your rooms and do not leave until called for.
She turned around to face Mirren.
"It would be in your favor to return to your old rooms as well. Do not come out until called.'
Normally she would have had more sympathy for all of them but at the moment her day had been bad enough. Her Warder was battling in Shayul Ghul, an accepted had blown up Dragonmount, another accepted had been rude to her and then turned out to be bonded to Darkfriend. She had had enough.

Katerine moved out of the way at Skiiy's words and nodded her head. He had a very valid point. She was just so used to having to fend for herself when in such situations.

"Yes, you should go first. I won't be able to defend myself too well without channeling."

She watched as he opened the door. The shield was firmly in her grasp with the figurine tucked away in a pocket. When the door opened, she expected to be met with an onslaught of Shadowspan. Instead though, she could see the Trollocs in the middle of the street waiting for the order of their Fade. The Fades were clustered closer to the door and turned to face Katerine and Skiiy. If she had not met that gaze countless times before, she would have been struck with fear. Their look did little to ruffle her emotions though. Now she just had to get back to the inn then to the Tower. From there she could plan what to do next.

When Clarissa had finished speaking, she turned back to the three. "You three...you have been through much today. If you need to talk, please do not do so with anyone who has not been here today, for your own safety and well being...or if you would like, my office door is open at whatever time for you. Go get rested."

Mercury gave a pat of comfort to the girls with a nod to Dupre and rummaging at her belt pouch, managed to produce a spare napkin she had. She handed it to Alina with a weak smile that she hoped was reassuring. Looking around, she motioned over a group of three sisters that was among the few left.

"Please escort these three trainees back to the Tower. The two Accepted are to go to their rooms and remain there. They have my pardon from any classes they have. No visitors. If it grows too late before we return, send the food up to their quarters. The Warder trainee is also to return to his room, until such time as the Swordmaster calls for him."

The trio of Aes Sedai looked at Alina, Dupre, and Mirren-perhaps longest at her-before giving deep bows to the Mother and murmuring consent. They stood off to the side, waiting for the three children to join them so they could leave.

Though I wager that Clarissa needs rest as much as or more than these three...Dear Creator what trials you have put us through today....Vancelle..what a shock you will be in...
