Starcraft II still bugs me a little bit because it requires a powerful computer to run decently. XP
As for Halo, I like the gameplay and story. Until it was handed to 343 in Halo, then the story went...what the? In a few parts anyway.

I will not be getting X or Y anytime soon because I'm not too pressed about getting them, and I have more important things I'd rather spend my first paycheck on! namely bills. And maybe some manga if I have anything left over...

Indeed. The only thing I am looking at at the moment is that zombie game Steve showed us a while back, but its not out yet. It's an independent game, I think. Contagion, I do believe.
