"I know. but I can't help it. I care alot about you, Jelena. You mean alot to me. So I intend to stick around for as long as you want me around. and I'm going to enjoy working with you in the creation of echoes once I get those degrees straighened out and the like. unless you have a policy against dating in your own project, then I guess I can stay in meta and just kinda help out on teh side."

She smiled at him, tilting her head lightly only to have blond stranfs fall over her eyes some. Another reason she wore her OODDS almost all the time...kept her hair out of her face seeing as it was took short to pull back really. It was all endearing really...and a little foreign. After all, scientists of her caliber and nature were often isolated people. "Well don't expect to go anywhere anytime soon James."
And she brushed her hair back, leaning back on her hands some. "I told you...I don't take in ship. Last I checked you were registered with Ingenuity, and I with Envision. Therefore, you clear the criteria to be dating material. Besides...I think I'd bend the rules a little and make an exception to the rule for you." A slight giggle from her. Wait, did she just giggle? Oh god...
Jelena gave him the once over. "So how long do you intend to lounge around my room naked?"

A chuckle, looking at himself.
"I thought you might like it if I lounge around for awhile. you know, play eye candy for a bit. But if you insist."
He chuckled and got up, and in quick, military fashion, he got himself dressed, snagged another soda, and sat back down in about three minutes tops, and smiled at her.
"and yes, anywhere, andytime you want me."
Then another grin.
"I even come with toys."

She rolled her eyes. "Like you even need them..." Shaking her head lightly she pushed herself up from the bed, going back to her dresser, rummaging through drawers and pulling out clothes. "Well someone is full of himself today, isn't he. Careful, your civilian side is showing."
And she slipped into her bathroom, letting the door slide shut behind her. Hey he might of been up absurdly early but she was still waking up and a shower was part of that routine. Besides her hair was all funny. And of course while in said shower she had time to muse over things. This was turning out to be a good year...well except for that one month of the entire year where she hermited away from everyone. Hm...wonder how James would take that. Or maybe she would be okay this year...but that's what she'd been telling herself for five years now.
How long was it? Thirty miuntes? Long enough for her water to get cold before she zoned back in and pulled herself of the shower, drying off and dressing, coming out of the bathroom with a brush in hand, taking to her hair. Damn it why did she have to go think so hard about that? Always dampened her mood. But a smile was turned to James as she was brushing her hair into usual style. "So...do I live up to those fantasies of yours?" A little bit of humor to get her spirits back up.

She couldn't help but smile back, James would love that now wouldn't he? And she'd have someone to keep her company. Maybe then everyone would stop watching her every move, whispering about her as soon as she was away from them. They thought she didn't know, oh she knew. She also knew that there was a good chance if she didn't show them that she was fine, she'd find herself strapped in a chair in Torleena Fein's office and god only knew what happened to you in there. It never ceased to amaze her that someone had given her a degree and allowed her to become an expert in her field, frankly it scared the living daylights out of her.
"Well, I would be happy to be of service, besides Jelly has piled on the work to an extreme now since I was gone for so long and I need to get all caught up." She smiled softly and shook her head, "I have to warn you though, James and Jelly are usually up to their old tricks and they flirt like a couple of teenagers just discovering the pleasures of dating. So be prepared."

By the time she was out of her shower, her room was cleaned, and the dishes done. he watched her comb her hair and chuckle lightly at her question.
"Oh indeed you do. surpass them actually. you are a glorious and wonderful woman, jellybean. and I count myself very lucky to know you and to be with you like I am. You are a wonderful friend and an exquisite lover."

A dramtic point. "Onward then!" And a smile and laugh at his own antics as he shoved his hands in his pockets again and took to walking down the hall in stride with Lilia. "Ah Dr. Trevale always has work piled up, regardless of what's going on around her. I don't know how that woman does it but she does."
And of course a snicker at her comment on James and Jelena. "That would figure....Commander Moira acting like a teenager. Though I'm a flirt myself, so that kind of thing really wouldn't bother me. In fact I'd probably make a joke or two about it. We should just start calling them JJ."
"Oooo someone who talks good about me!" Over dramatized of course, but not sarcastic...it really did mean a lot to have someone outside of Erik tell her a few good things about her. And a soft chuckle as she set her brush down, taking a look at her room. "You cleaned my room..." Jelena tilted her head at that. "Mess get to you too much?" Didn't bother her....besides all the important stuff was velcroed down.
Grabbing her boots and some socks she took a seat on the edge of the bed and pulled on her socks, grav boots following then she stood tapping her toes on the floor to make sure her boots were on good. "Well...I think this has to be my best relationship...not back for twenty six...."

"No not bad at all. as for your room..It didn't bother me. but gave me somethign to do while you were in the shower to stay the temptation of joining you in it."
A chuckle at that, then back to good old Moria.
"So...shall we go to teh labs and check up on the pet projects, adn get teh customary teasing and razing from Erik, and anyone he's talked to or has guessed yet?"

"You wouldn't of gotten past the shock locks on the door." A chuckle to follow that one. Bathroom security? But of course. And she ran a hand through her hair, messing it up yet putting it into it's usual style all in one motion.
Though she chuckled again. "What did I tell you about those Echoes? Time and patience are key...I doubt there's anything wrong and if so I have thinks linked to the software in my OODDS to alert- damn it...my OODDS." Right she need to pick those up.
"Guess we'll be going to the lab anyway, huh? Though Erik won't tease...he'll get me later as per usual. And believe me, he doesn't discuss my personal life with anyone but me. Last time he did it got him hurt."

"shock locks wouldn't stop me. hell might even charge up some fuel cells. but yes, that's where we need to head anyway to recover your OODDS."
He walked over, and picked her, up, giving her a loving little kiss, and carried her to the door before setting her down.
"ready to go? and how did you hurt erik anyway? feed him to an echo?"

She rolled her eyes. "Oh really, he's harmless...and I doubt anyone would poke fun at your personal life...people don't like thier arms and the like broken, I'm sure." A slight laugh from her as he for who knew why picked her up, carried her to the door then set her down again.
"And MY shock locks would. I've...modified...them a bit. Also, lord help anyone who has gotten a hand on those things...quite the work effort went into them..." But a nod to his ready to go question and she stepped out of her room, making sure to code lock it once James was out as well. "No...I beat him with my bioengineering textbook."

He walked with her, and heading back to the labs, keeping by her and warning off any of the FS security that wanted to escort her. she was under his watch. and waited in front fo the lab for her to put in her codes and enter.
"Think Erik is asleep on your desk, or think he actually went to his own room?"

"The professor was more concerned with why my textbook was ripped and torn, than the condition of Erik...though I think he put two and two together and got the answer to all his questions." She gave a laugh at the thought...it really was a quite funny situation...but hey that's what Erik got.
"I doubt he's asleep on the desk...he says he doesn't know how I do it, always give him a crick in his neck. What he fails to realize is that I suffer just the same, I just don't voice my discomfort."And she coded into her office, shooting a look over to her desk.
Erik was indeed there, but asleep with feet propped on the desk, leaned back in the chair. A pizza box with two slices left in it was on the desk and his rifle was resting on top of her compter monitor. "And he's head of FS...I worry sometimes." But she didn't pay him much mind, coding back into her labs, intending on fetching those OODDS.

James chuckled lightly nad while Jelena went to fetch her OODDS, he went and ate the last two slices of pizza, sitting ont eh desk edge, before shoving ERik's feet off the desk in an effort to wake him up.
"Good morning. and How are we this today?"
A grin, eatting the last little bit of crust.
"Jelena forgot her OODDS in the back lab, so she's going to get them. and how was your evening? boring adn uneventful?"

He jumped awake with a snort, almost falling out of his chair. A few blinks before be remembered where he was and she stretched, popping his neck and looking from the pizza box to James. "Hey...that's mine." Erik shook his head, leaning back in the chair once more, hands folded over his chest. "I'm good...I take it you are too." And he laughed. "You made her forget her OODDS? I think I'm amazed...and I enjoyed my evening...sat around, ate pizza, played video games...generally slacked off." Then he looked up as the telltale signs of the GODDS being activated sounded.
"Okay...whoever has my OODDS better cough them up, or I'm going to be personally searching everyone and thier rooms, and I won't be gentle about it."
A chuckle from Erik. "Good old Trevy, threatening bodily harm."
She stood in the hallway, tapping her foot, arms crossed. She would given them one chance to give it up. And there were only two other people who had access to that room, and they were the techs that were currently on duty...who came running down the hall to her at her summons and threats. Both exchanged nervous glances before one of them reached into a pocket and pulled them out, handind them back to her.
Jelena only gave a pleasant smile. "See, that was painless now wasn't it...now don't ever touch these again or I'll break your arms." And she slipped them on as she walked away from teh two, waving them off back to thier work as she went about activating the little device via the wrist mounted control, heading back to hre office.
