Ah, so you'll define the NPC team for the theoretically briefer single battle. I see. ^^ xXJustified_DeathXx A battle with three Pokes apiece is a Triple, Ninten ^^ but yes, we'll do that then I'll head on and do the Wild Encounter real quick. Old characters, why not. I can still find the old pic of Wes. Not the way I meant XD I was thinking 2 come out at a time, with the 3rd replacing the 1st to fall. I have my old Cheren pic, too, but to heck with formal post styles here. I'll just slap on an image alignment and call it done. Will we use our old friendly character dynamic, too? Also, will we include status moves? I know Unfezant can Swagger. Serperior can Coil and Aerial Ace, Plusle can paralyze, Espeon can also confuse, and Umbreon can Toxic. With Gigalith and Espeon, this would let us cover all common statuses except BRN (unless the Eeveelutions can WoW?), Ineffective hits, Supereffective hits, multi-target hits, multi-hits (Gigalith's Rock Blast--we forgot to include multi-hit moves!), and ally damage. That ought to be everything we ought to demonstrate. If we include secondary status (ie Tbolt/Tshock), shall we add an extra post in the battle thread for the 100-side die to indicate that we used a status attack? Both of you, I need to head off to my review sessions, so I'll write this battle with yall later~ If you want to fight the NPC battle while I'm out, have at it. For the Double Battle, I'll have Gigalith and Unfezant out first, and maybe JD can have Plusle and an Eeveelution out first to take out Unfezant (therefore making me replace it with Serperior) so that we can demonstrate ally attacking? (Then again, ally attacking can be demo'ed with Plusle's Discharge and not just Gigalith's EQ...)

Serperior can use Coil, but whether I use that is another matter. Plusle can Twave, and Umbreon can Toxic. We still can't roll 2 different die in one post, so I guess secondary moves will need to roll attack first and then, if the secondary status move hits, the status die. (Full documentation of the attacks we need to include in my prior post.)

I would provide a dice-generator, but those numbers could be compromised and altered by players, so we'll stick with the dice-rolls here in the forums. I'll do it with you, the Single Battle NPC that will be encountered will have Paralyze, Confusion, Flinch, and a couple of stat reducers. It'll make for something a bit more interesting than just having you do it yourself. See you when you get back then! We'll get to the Double Battle after this, I'll let you and JD take care of that when it happens. Since it looks like you've already got a plan.

Awesome. I didn't want to put battle rolls in my profile thread since they don't contribute to the actual story, so I might simply transfer the results of my status rolls to the mock battle thread. Undecided atm. Posting from phone; still can't battle.

Nobody said you had to, I'm doing it because it's an NPC, not my actual character. If this also weren't a mock fight, then JD would be doing all the work, and that'd be no fun.

Your battle will be more concise than mine due to the difference in style. ^^ Can't wait to be out of here and write XD Ours is but a simple example of how battles would work, when facing off against two people. When I give control of the NPC to a player, they have to do everything after that. Would be really hard to be involved in 3+ battles with everyone at the same time, it be getting crazy. Also, I'll be adding in Prize Money to the NPC's, as to determine how much is earned after a fight.

Y'all remember how carried away I can get with battles. XD) And Prize Money... That'll be useful. Would the formula apply only to NPCs or also to losing Trainers? Btw, there are some moves (ie Water Spout, Heavy Slam) that have no set base power and instead deal damage conditionally. How will those work?

I forgot to describe all my team's moves, and once your team is up, either or both of us can add a line about attacking order.
